She Lives without Regret in This Life

Chapter 1370: Chapter 1440: How to Tell Them Apart

Speaking of which, he wanted to hold his little sister, and the two babies were sleeping in the stroller, wearing identical clothes, yet he was able to accurately find the little sister.

Sheng Ning blocked him to prevent the little sister from being dropped, hastily saying, ”Lin En, you’re still too young. Once you grow taller, you can hold your little sister.”

”Okay! Starting tomorrow, I’m going to eat more.” Little Lin En held onto his sister softly, reluctant to let go with his small hands. Surprisingly, his sleeping little sister subconsciously gripped her small hand, making Lin En grin cheerfully.

”Aunt, see, my little sister likes me a lot!”

”Of course your little sister likes you. Who wouldn’t like you!” Sheng Ning praised.

Gu Yunbo was jealous, saying with a sour face, ”Brat, are you sure it’s your little sister? I feel like it’s your little brother.”

She really had no luck with kids! Every time she tried to hold them, the two brats would cry incessantly in her arms, making her want to hit someone. Up till now, she couldn’t distinguish the little sister from the little brother.

She tried many times but still couldn’t tell them apart.

Sheng Ning looked at her sympathetically, nodding gleefully, ”That’s right, it’s the little sister.”

”How could this be?” Gu Yunbo said as she moved to flip the kids’ clothes.

”Don’t, flipping their clothes could make them catch cold.”

”But I need to make sure.”

”Do I, the mother, ever get it wrong?”

”Why can everyone recognize them but me?” This made her feel quite embarrassed.

”It’s quite simple! You can just tell by looking!”

Lin En obediently agreed, ”Yes! Just by looking!” Then, pointing at the little brother nearby, ”Look, the little brother is a bit darker, and the little sister is lighter.”

”Nonsense, they look the same to me.”

Sheng Ning shook her head helplessly, consoling, ”Alright, don’t fret over it. You’ll see the difference as they grow up. Luckily, they’re fraternal twins; if they were both boys or both girls, you might go crazy.”

”Exactly.” Gu Yunbo crossed her arms and stepped back, leaving space open for Sheng Ning and Aunt Feng to each hold a child and carry them to the room in the attic behind the theater.

Daives easily carried the stroller, following behind.

This time returning, the attic was noticeably tidied up. The floor was covered with thick velvet carpet, extra items moved out. Many children’s toys, clothes, and milk powder were added.

Aunt Feng does things meticulously and thoroughly, and she’s quite adept at taking care of children, at first glance resembling a home atmosphere.

”Aunt Feng, thank you so much.” Sheng Ning expressed her gratitude.

”You’re welcome.”

Sheng Ning smiled and also thanked Housekeeper Xing, who came up last.

Housekeeper Xing surveyed the surroundings, shaking his head continuously, ”It’s too simple here; just you few people can’t properly take care of the children. I suggest you move back to the estate. Sir has always been hoping you would move back!”

”No, I think it’s quite good here.” She would never agree to live at the Feng Family estate.

Housekeeper Xing had long noticed that Sheng Ning, though appearing cheerful and easygoing, was quite stubborn at heart, and once she made up her mind, no one could change it.

”Alright, I won’t force you, but let me know if there’s anything you need.” He finished speaking and specifically told Aunt Feng, ”Sheng Ning is in your hands now; make sure to take good care of both the adults and the children, and deal with anything unusual by applying through the estate.”
