She Lives without Regret in This Life

Chapter 433: Chapter 443 Creating for a Friend

”At this busy time for the headquarters, don’t add to the chaos,” Sheng Ning spoke up for Yang Wenying.

”But how can that be?” Lu Dabao immediately objected, forgetting his sorrow, and stood on the chair, angrily waving his fists. ”Qin Cuifen should send her to the General Union’s court.”

”Pfft,” Chen Huaying scoffed with disdain, ”Does that kind of person deserve to stand in the union court? This isn’t punishing her; it’s elevating her. She’s not fit to deserve a place in the union court.”

”Yeah!” Lu Dabao deflated like a punctured ball, ”Her rank really doesn’t qualify her for the union court.”

”Just leave this matter to us. Focus on training well, and leave it to me and Chen Huaying,” Sheng Ning stood up from the chair, patted Wu Youli’s shoulder, and tugged Lu Dabao’s braid. Smiling, she said, ”Liu Yilan doesn’t need to come back either, trust me, she’ll be fine.”

”Mm! I believe you,” Lu Dabao nodded confidently and indeed began to smile. The stark contrast before and after irritated Chen Huaying to no end.

”Lu Dabao, are you deliberately opposing me? I’ve advised you for so long, yet you ignored me right to my face, eating an entire basket of steamed buns. How come you believe Sheng Ning the moment she speaks? This is simply bullying!”

Lu Dabao blinked in bewilderment, ”What’s up with you? Making a big fuss over nothing, don’t we always listen to Sheng Ning anyway?”

Chen Huaying was almost floored; it seemed her position as the leader had been usurped long ago.

*********

Upon returning to the General Union in the evening, Su Hai immediately went to Shen Feihu’s office for a brief report.

With the report finished, the secretary and assistant officers had already lined up at the door as he entered the office.

”There will be an emergency meeting in half an hour,” Su Hai ordered on the go.

”Yes!”

”Notify Yang Wenying and Qiu Bai to attend!”

”Yes!”

This was to deal with the incident stirred up by the General Union Dance Troupe; everyone hurriedly passed on the word, knowing the gravity of the situation.

”Also, have Sheng Ning of the General Union Dance Troupe wait for me in the Detention Room!”

Sun Gan was startled, then quickly responded, ”Yes!” Since the President had taken leave, rumors about the Su Family’s daughter had been circling around the General Union.

Everyone had been focusing on the countryside, but yesterday’s incident took everyone by surprise.

Activities of the General Union Dance Troupe were suspended, and Sheng Ning was back at the dormitory, tidying up sweaters. Thanks to the circumstances before, she had finished all of An’an’s sweaters.

It appears that sometimes despair can indeed serve a purpose.

After organizing the sweaters, she sat back down at the table to write stories. She intended to incorporate both Liu Yilan’s past life story and her current experiences into a drama and a novel. The drama would be handed over to the Song and Dance Troupe, whereas for the novel, she planned to submit it to Zhi Yin magazine.

She not only wanted the people of the union to always remember Liu Yilan but also wanted her to be known by countless others. This was to encourage Liu Yilan not to be discouraged, not to be negative. She believed Liu Yilan would certainly make it.

As a friend, she was her strong backing, not one to offer too many nice words. But they would always stand behind her, silently supporting her.

Liu Yilan is Liu Yilan, whether in adversity or prosperity, she could live a splendid life.

The story’s plot almost had no fluff, only a touch of dramatization. The main thread went like this: a girl with exceptional talent suffers a devastating blow for the sake of a friend. Her face is disfigured, her talents buried, and her life plunged into darkness. Yet the sunny and cheerful girl doesn’t give up; her perseverance, optimism, effort, and positivity make her even more tenacious in adversity.
