The Shadow Wolf's Second Life: They Bullied The Wrong Omega

The other’s looked towards the direction of the shed.

”Yeah, it sounded like it came from the equipment shed.”

”No way... are there students doing something dirty in there?” A chorus of loud, obnoxious laughter erupted from Kano’s group.

My eyes widened in the dark as I found myself completely pinned beneath the weight of the green-eyed man. He had slammed my back onto a pile of gym mats, trapping both of my wrists above my head with a single, iron-like grip. His other hand slammed down firmly over my mouth, cutting off any chance of a scream... Like I’d ever do such a thing.

I tried to struggle, wriggling frantically to break his hold, but he easily neutralized my kinetic force by driving his knee between my thighs, pinning my legs flat. In this fragile Omega body, I was completely powerless against his raw physical strength.

As my eyes adjusted to the dim light filtering through the wall cracks, I recognized him. He was the emerald-eyed , blonde haired instructor I had spotted back then.

But right now, his shirt was completely gone, his bare chest slick with sweat as his chest heaved in ragged, uneven gulps. And the scent coming off him...

No way... A wolf in a rut?

The realization hit me like a bucket of ice water. This wasn’t just an annoyed Alpha—this was a predator out of his mind on primal instincts. This was practically a invitation to be torn to shreds.

If Kano and his crew opened that door right now, they would find us in this horrifyingly compromising position and spread rumors across the entire pack within the hour.

I didn’t give a damn about my own reputation, but the instructor was clearly trying to protect his own when he dragged me back from the door. If I had walked out alone, only for a half-naked instructor to stumble out seconds later, those idiots would have constructed whatever filthy narrative their stupid brains cooked up.

This is just not my day.

I went completely still, trying not to make a single sound or provoke him further. But his senses were wildly out of control. He buried his face into the side of my neck, sniffing at my skin in a desperate, involuntary search for a calming scent.

His breathing was scorching hot against my collarbone, and the knee pressed between my thighs twitched with his uneven, ragged pants.

Outside, the footsteps approached the shed door and the metal latch rattled.

”Let’s see who’s hiding in—” Kano started.

”Hey! What are you boys doing hovering around the equipment shed?!” a loud, booming voice roared across the yard.

The gym teacher.

”Shit! Run!” Kano yelled.

A flurry of panicked, scrambling footsteps echoed off the grass as the group scattered to avoid getting caught. The gym teacher let out a heavy, exasperated sigh, clicking his tongue in disgust.

”Rascals... always looking for trouble,” he muttered under his breath.

A metallic clink echoed through the wood, followed by the heavy slide of a bolt.

CLICK.

My blood ran cold. The gym teacher had just locked the equipment shed from the outside before whistling a tune and walking away into the distance.

The silence that followed was absolute, broken only by the harsh, ragged panting of the shirtless beast pinned directly on top of me.

Only when the shed had been locked did he slowly remove his palm from my mouth. Thankfully, despite the scorching heat radiating off his skin and his wild, ragged breathing, he seemed to at least still have a sliver of his senses intact.

”You see,” I began, my voice a quiet, cautious whisper as I tried to keep my posture as non-threatening as possible, ”I can help you find your suppressants, so please... let go. I’m a student, and you’re an instructor. There’s only so much I can do if we stay locked in here.”

While I was talking, his glowing emerald eyes didn’t focus on my words. They tracked the movement of my lips with an intense, mesmerizing hunger.

He let out a low, dangerous grunt from deep within his chest.

”You smell like another wolf,” his voice came out gruff, deep, and rough around the edges, his hot breath brushing directly against my mouth. ”Are you trying to make me mad with jealousy?”

Excuse me? Who even are you?!

The absurd thought flashed violently through my mind, but I did not dare speak those words aloud. Poking a rutting, half-naked Alpha beast in a locked room was a quick way to get my throat torn out.

I swallowed hard, keeping my hands pinned above my head as his heavy weight pressed down on me, his emerald gaze burning through the darkness like a pair of wild headlights.

He leaned down, his lips brushing against the corner of my mouth before flicking his tongue outward in a slow, tasting stroke.

What is it with these Alphas and using their tongues? My mind flashed briefly to Benjamin. Do all powerful wolves share the exact same single brain cell when they lose control?

The hand that had been covering my lips slowly slid down my neck, past my collarbone, and settled directly onto my inner thigh. He pressed his palm flat, rubbing forward with a firm, rhythmically intense pressure.

”Ah—!”

A strange gasp escaped my throat before I could stop it. My stomach flipped. What was that?!Did that embarrassing noise just come out of my mouth?! It felt bizarre, a sudden coil of unnatural heat shooting straight down my spine.

”You have to come to your senses,” I choked out, twisting my head violently to the side to avoid his face.

He didn’t stop. His mouth dragged down the line of my jaw, planting hot, heavy kisses straight down my exposed neck.

”Two...” he grunted against my skin, his rough voice vibrating straight into my collarbone. ”Two wolves... touched you...”

What was he even talking about?!

”I know you’re still a little sane, so snap out of it, Instructor!” I hissed.

Whether it was my sharp tone or his own fading focus, his grip on my wrists loosened just enough. I didn’t hesitate. I yanked my hands free, slamming my left palm flat against his slick chest and my right against his chorded shoulder, desperately pushing up.

It was useless. His body was an impenetrable wall of hard, sweat-slicked muscle.

A weird, suffocating sensation began to wash over me—a dizzying mix of blistering heat and pure discomfort. In my past life, I had lived to twenty before dying by their hands, but I had spent every waking hour training as a lethal assassin, and carrying out missions.

I had never experienced anything like this. I had never dealt with a wolf in a rut, nor had I felt the overwhelming, intoxicating pressure of Alpha pheromones filling a locked, windowless room.

He was completely out of his mind. If he had even a single thread of logic left in his brain, he would know that doing this with a student was an immediate, one-way ticket to getting permanently banned by the Education Bureau.

This fragile body was only sixteen. Sixteen! In my past life, fourteen-year-olds were considered old enough for marriages, but in this world, seventeen was the official age of maturity. I didn’t even know when Brianna’s actual birthday was to calculate how far off it was, but right now, she was legally and physically a minor.

”Mate with me.”
