I Can Gain One Skill Point Per Second

Chapter 1072: Chapter 1072: Unknown Past

Time has passed for so long that Mr. Gongsu has forgotten where the superior beings who first conquered Blue Star came from and what their names were.

As long as the enhanced equipment from Blue Star is used, opponents will notice it.

When powers are evenly matched and weapon quality doesn’t vary much, enhanced weapons display their effects, aiding the superior beings who initially conquered Blue Star to win easily.

Thus, their special weapons attracted attention.

Before long, the secret of the enhancement capability held by Blue Star was quietly spread.

There are many ways to improve combat power.

Most methods require self-tempering.

Improving strength through equipment enhancement is nearly painless and the extent of enhancement is significant; who wouldn’t be tempted by this method?

As a result, more and more strong beings set their sights on Blue Star, and more and more strong beings started battles over Blue Star.

The people living on Blue Star suffered as a result.

Blue Star’s strength was limited. Although they mastered skills that superior beings of the Formless Realm coveted, in the eyes of these beings, the talents of Blue Star were considered spoils of war, devoid of human rights.

For whom are these talents crafting equipment? This entirely depends on having a hard fist.

Only with a hard enough fist can one obtain this right.

Of course, matters of equipment enhancement cannot be concealed from the eyes of All Gods.

Upon discovering a star capable of defying fate, All Gods quickly took over Blue Star, making it serve them.

Initially, equipment enhancement served only the high levels of All Gods; the higher the level and status of a divine being, the more likely it was to receive equipment enhancement.

Blue Star’s enhancement skills were so advanced that it took roughly two years to arm the outstanding individuals among All Celestial Divine Beings to the teeth.

During this period, Blue Star received considerable resources bestowed by All Gods, leading Blue Star’s inhabitants to briefly consider themselves part of All Gods, believing their planet had risen to a higher status, removed from the scope of Hell Dao.

But as time passed and the enhancement of divine beings’ equipment was further perfected, Blue Star’s people noticed something was amiss.

Initially, All Gods provided substantial resources, including plenty of Source Power Elixir, but after exploiting Blue Star’s talent, they became harsh.

Not only did they withhold Source Power Elixir, but even the most basic materials weren’t provided, leaving Blue Star people to fend for themselves.

Later, All Gods felt Blue Star’s ability needed full exploitation. After All Gods’ equipment was enhanced, wasn’t there still Divine Envoy and Divine Soldier equipment that required enhancement?

Thus, a massive number of equipment enhancement tasks fell onto Blue Star.

Divine Soldier! Such terrifying numbers.

How many Divine Soldiers are among All Gods? One wouldn’t dare imagine. Blue Star had so few Enhancers, the proportion was terrifying, and Blue Star couldn’t possibly withstand it.

Unrewarded for the tasks, materials had to be solved on their own, and tasks required completion within a fixed time frame, otherwise punishments followed.

The Gongshu Family, prominent in enhancement, faced even heavier tasks.

This was when the young Gongshu De fully set aside his personal play, helping the family shoulder tasks upon realizing they faced heavy duties.

Despite being young, Gongshu De displayed his extreme prowess in enhancement.

But what could one person’s strength change?

Even after working tirelessly night and day for a week, only three pieces of equipment were enhanced to +90, far from the target.

Having rested only a day, Gongshu De continued working through another tireless week.

Naturally, Blue Star couldn’t complete the tasks assigned from above, fully arming those Divine Soldiers.

Failing the task was an expected outcome.

Punishment inevitably fell as Blue Star couldn’t meet the target, facing a catastrophic disaster.

All Gods, preserving their authority, couldn’t show leniency due to Blue Star’s value.

Moreover, divine beings with any status found their enhancement skills mostly completed. Blue Star’s skills were of little value, necessitating its destruction.

Gongshu De was talented, and the family had some strength.

His father even used the condition of full +90 equipment to entice the guards overseeing Blue Star, allowing his son to escape safely.

”Mr. Gongsu, you really have a grudge with All Gods.”

Lin Yi knew well that those joining the Dark Rising Organization had dissent against All Gods’ rule, yet he didn’t expect one of the higher-ups genuinely held a grudge.

”Yes, this secret has been buried in my heart for years. My proficiency with Enhancement Skill is also a secret. Over the years, I’ve never displayed my ability in public. Today, seeing you show these skills, I feel it’s fate’s arrangement, leading me here to assist you.”

Enhancement Skill — a capability Gongshu De loves and hates.

He loved Enhancement Skill; this was something he never forgot.

He would never forget when he was young: his outstanding craft brought fame to his family, and the elders would gaze with pride and satisfaction at him.

His hatred for Enhancement Skill stemmed from the disasters it brought to Blue Star, causing his loved ones to perish under All Gods’ impossible commands.

”Ha, how ironic indeed. We clearly could have had a better future, yet those high above divine beings forced an entire planet’s people to exhaust themselves for their credibility, doing tasks unconditionally.”

Speaking at that point, Gongshu De’s face was filled with a sarcastic expression.

”In those beings’ eyes, we were never people. We couldn’t rely on our craft to stand out and become the pride of the Formless Realm. In their view, we were mere tools to boost power, ready to be destroyed when used up.”

Saying this, Gongshu De’s expression froze, as if recalling something, then immediately grasped Lin Yi’s hand.

”Lin Yi, I feel that my coming here is fate. Seeing you, I seem to see hope for revenge. You have a fortune we lack. Using merely twenty years, you’ve reached this level. Give you a hundred more years, and you can definitely crush Immortal Kings, becoming the master of the Three Realms and Six Paths.”

”Lin Yi, I can teach you all the Enhancement Skill I know, letting you gain the most skillful enhancement techniques of the Three Realms and Six Paths. I can even do anything to help you — as long as your Blue Star needs it, I won’t refuse. But I only hope that once you grow strong, you can help me avenge.”

”Yes, that’s it, can you!”
