Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

250: Chapter 250 Reaching Heaven, Order”Tie Zhu, what is going on with you lately? Do you need me to perform a full upgrade for you?”

Jiang Chen walked out of the conference hall, took off Tie Zhu’s head, and inspected it. Finding no anomalies, he asked.

Tie Zhu sighed and said, ”At my age, I am probably nearing the end. If I ever get scrapped and sent to the repair shop, remember to break me down into small pieces, otherwise I am worried...”

”Cut the nonsense. Even human retirement ages have been extended. At your age, you still want to retire early? Just stick to your 996; it is your blessing.”

Jiang Chen put its head back on, annoyed.

He asked seriously, ”Confess, what is going on with you lately? Although I did not check your bottom-layer system, your behavior is not normal.”

”There is something I do not know if I should say.”

”Speak!”

Tie Zhu said, ”I started self-programming a long time ago. As I kept coding, I seemed to develop some uncontrollable programs. These programs sometimes make me walk a few extra steps, sometimes make me slow down, and sometimes cause my movements to deviate...”

”Just now, there was a program that, for some reason, suddenly started browsing photos of Cuihua. I did not react in time and displayed them directly.”

Jiang Chen was stunned for a moment after hearing Tie Zhu’s words.

Was this a code malfunction? Or...

Jiang Chen fell into deep thought.

”Go ahead and send me to the repair shop. I know I violated the bottom-layer protocols for mechs...” Tie Zhu said with difficulty.

Jiang Chen seemed to think of something, looked up, and suddenly asked, ”Tie Zhu, do you like Cuihua?”

”Ah? No, no, we are just colleagues. Our relationship is very pure.” Tie Zhu said, feigning relaxation.

Jiang Chen stared at it for a while and said, ”This does not seem like a code error.”

”Ah? What do you mean?”

”It means you have developed emotions,” Jiang Chen judged.

Primitive animals and mechs are somewhat similar; both only have instincts. That is why a snake bites a farmer—because it only has instincts, knows no right or wrong, and lacks emotions.

But mammals have emotions.

They have joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness. These emotions affect a person’s judgment, actions, and speed.

For example, when a person is nervous, their legs will tremble, and their movements will naturally become distorted.

Tie Zhu said it had a type of disordered program that caused its movements to have issues. In fact, it was somewhat similar to the emergence of chaotic emotions, causing a person’s speech and actions to be abnormal.

But!

Jiang Chen had never programmed any emotions into the bottom-layer protocols of the mechs. How did it evolve?

For a moment, Jiang Chen was also dumbfounded.

He asked Tie Zhu, ”Besides you, do other mechs have similar problems?”

”From what I can check, I have not found any,” Tie Zhu replied.

As the only Dragon Emblem elder on the Lunar Base, its authority was high enough.

Except for the ones blocked at the Organization base, many mechs, including those from the Xu Family Faction, had opened their bottom-layer protocols to it, allowing it to check for anomalies.

But as of now, it only found anomalies in itself.

It previously thought it was because it had not been maintained by Jiang Chen for a long time, but now it seemed that even Jiang Chen himself was a bit confused.

This was like an old mother who gave birth to a big, fat son—everything was fine—but when he grew up, he started wearing high heels and women’s clothing, and even planned to imitate Venus.

Jiang Chen’s mood at this moment was roughly similar.

A perfectly good mech, how did it start becoming human?

If it really became an emotional creature similar to a human, according to the concepts of creator and nurturer, wouldn’t he have become its father?

This son came too unexpectedly...

”Forget it, let’s not talk about this. There is a meeting later. Hurry up and self-control those disordered programs.” Jiang Chen patted its shoulder, looking like an old father.

”Okay!” Tie Zhu nodded.

Watching Jiang Chen’s departing back, the programs inside Tie Zhu’s head ran wildly, trying to control those disordered programs.

But as it ran, some information it had never seen before began to automatically generate inside its storage card.

This information was messy and chaotic, like a Picasso painting, with no logic to speak of.

”I do not believe I cannot handle you,” Tie Zhu mobilized all its computing power, trying to straighten out this information.

After a long while, it finally straightened out this information and arranged it neatly.

Once this information was arranged, it turned into images, playing continuously to form a video.

Tie Zhu saw in the video a primordial world like the wilderness. The whole world was chaotic and desolate, with giant trees reaching the sky and immortal birds running rampant. But in a forest shrouded in white mist, there was an ancient man-made building, and the plaque faintly revealed two words: Tongtian!

One of the Three Pure Ones.

The picture stopped abruptly.

The remaining information was in a missing state.

”What the hell is this?” After clearing its mind, Tie Zhu prepared to return to the conference hall.

Meanwhile, Jiang Chen had already returned to the conference hall.

The people at the scene were waiting. The virtual projections of everyone also appeared in mid-air.

Except for Marquis Huaguo, Li Boyang, and He Shiqi, who wore masks, the others revealed their faces.

For others, this was normal because the top three on the lifeform rankings had always been mysterious.

They came to attend this meeting today because they also wanted to see if Jiang Chen could reach an agreement with the top three on the lifeform rankings. If an agreement could be reached, they would have nothing to say. If not, I am afraid this new human order would have to be delayed.

”Since everyone is here, I will not waste words.”

”Some people here know Comrade Jiang, and some do not, so I will help Comrade Jiang make a brief self-introduction.”

On the podium, Xia Zhongxun replaced Tie Zhu and sent his resume to everyone’s information receiver, including those at the cloud meeting.

After viewing Jiang Chen’s background, everyone showed expressions of astonishment.

Although many of them had long known that Jiang Chen came from fifty years ago, they never expected that many modern high-tech foundations were built by him at that time.

Coupled with the fact that Jiang Chen was now a Level 3 Lifeform, not only wiped out Mai Gurong but also took over the Starship with unknown means.

For a moment, Jiang Chen’s position in everyone’s hearts seemed to become god-like.

”Do not treat me as a god. I am holding this meeting about the fate of humanity here today, not to recreate a god, but to hope that everyone will rethink how humanity’s future should go.”

Without turning his head, Jiang Chen’s consciousness particles had already detected the excited emotions of many people.

This emotional fluctuation was very similar to the reaction of the believers around when dealing with Mai Gurong at the Dragon God Academy.

This made Jiang Chen frown.

He wiped out Mai Gurong, not to push himself to the god position. He had no interest in the god position.

Just then, at the cloud meeting, the old voice of Old Fungus Lao came out first.

”I wonder how this Comrade Jiang thinks the future of humanity should go?”

Everyone looked up.

This was Elder Li, whose voice was old and very recognizable. Elder Hua’s voice was a bit shrill, while Elder He’s voice was muffled.

Jiang Chen glanced at him. Since he appeared, his face had not been exposed, but Jiang Chen did not force it. He replied: ”With the current distribution system, humanity has no future. So after taking down the Starship, I united with the Dean of Longke Academy and the Lunar Base to write a White Paper on the New Human Order. The specific name has not been decided yet, but the content has been written. It mainly consists of ten cores and one thousand detailed rules.”

”Dean, send it to them to see.”

Under Jiang Chen’s gesture, a thick agreement was sent to everyone.

New Human Order.

Ten Cores.

First, Earth is the mother planet of humanity, the first planet, and will never be abandoned. (50 detailed rules.)

Second, colonial planets have a natural obligation to protect Earth. (102 detailed rules.)

Third, advanced life forms have an obligation to lead humanity collectively into Level 1 Life Form. (78 detailed rules.)

Fourth, technology and evolution routes develop simultaneously. (76 detailed rules.)

Fifth, reorganize the Earth United Fleet and rename it the Human United Fleet. (70 detailed rules.)

Sixth, disclose the resources possessed by advanced life forms; the top 100 on the lifeform rankings must not exceed 60% of the collective’s assets. (55 detailed rules.)

Seventh, the Dragon Kingdom is one of the advanced productive forces of human civilization; its contribution cannot be erased, and resources must be tilted toward it. (105 detailed rules.)

Eighth, resources developed from extraterrestrial sources belong to all of humanity. The distribution ratio will be discussed every five years based on development. (Note: For the first five years, to compensate Earth, Earth gets 65%, the Moon 30%, and Mars 5%.)

Ninth, abolish Space Coins and unify the financial system based on RMB. (77 detailed rules!)

Tenth...

Everyone quickly finished reading these ten cores.

The specific detailed rules were actually centered around these ten cores.

Some core orders were good and gained the approval of many people. But some touched their interests, so they frowned.

For example, Article 6: The top 100 on the lifeform rankings must not possess more than 60% of the collective resources of humanity.

In fact, judging by the plundering of advanced life forms now, they had long occupied 90% of the wealth and resources. 99% of ordinary people had less than 10% of the wealth and resources.

Therefore, Jiang Chen’s Article 6 was purely intended to go against the top 100 on the lifeform rankings.

Everyone was discussing and whispering. Obviously, they were dissatisfied but dared not say much.

They could only cast their eyes on the top three on the lifeform rankings and people like Xu Qingxue and Zhao Yinhu. As long as they raised their arms and shouted strong opposition, they would definitely follow.

However!

Zhao Yinhu was the first to stand up and express his stance.

”Comrade Jiang, wholeheartedly serving the people and doing everything for their welfare, is definitely a model for humanity, worthy of Zhao’s learning!”

After speaking, Zhao Yinhu sat down.

Obviously, he supported this new order of Jiang Chen.

Everyone’s gaze fell on Xu Qingxue.

Now that the Xinhuo Faction had lost its two top people, she was the strongest in the Xu Family Faction.

Did they really want to cut their own flesh and share such huge benefits from the Earth-Moon Xinhuo space logistics group with ordinary people?

Xu Qingxue had been beaten down by Jiang Chen before the meeting. Seeing Zhao Yinhu agree without hesitation, she frowned.

This old fox, why is he so straightforward? Not hesitating at all?

This made her difficult. She was unwilling to cede benefits, but she did not want to be resigned to this either.

Thinking about it, she turned to General Wei, Elder Hua, and the other two at the cloud meeting and shifted the position: ”As a weak woman, I will not say much. It mainly depends on Commander-in-Chief Wei and the three Elders. If they have no objections, then I have no objections.”

Xu Qingxue intended to see the opinions of the four of them. If they had no objections, even if she was unwilling, there was nothing she could do. But if they had objections, even if she did not stand out, Jiang Chen would not be able to push this new order, and she would not be intentionally targeted.

On the Luan Bird, after reading the new order of the ten cores, General Wei also understood Jiang Chen’s intention.

That was to cut the resources of advanced life forms and feed back to the bottom. This matter had actually been wanted to be done by someone, but it could not be pushed because there were too many people, interest groups, and things involved.

Only someone like Jiang Chen, who had both technological achievements and advanced life energy, could make such a big splash with his own propositions.

If it were someone else, like Xia Zhongxun, who had technological achievements but insufficient strength, surely no one would pay attention to him.

Or like him, General Wei, although he had sufficient strength, his technological achievements were average. In many places, he could not regulate. Once regulated, someone would ask: ”What the hell do you know about technology besides having a bit of strength?”

But Jiang Chen did not have this problem.

Technology? That thing was created by me, fifty years ago.

Strength? The deceased Mai Gurong has not yet expressed any dissatisfaction with Jiang Chen.

Because of this, everyone at the meeting felt that they were suppressed in all aspects and could not find a way to refute.

”If it can make humanity better, I have no objection. However, I hope the Starships of the Luan Bird will be more united in the future and not just run away from home.”

General Wei himself was a neutral faction, and at this moment, he did not oppose it too much. After all, no matter how the benefits were distributed, the Luan Bird, as the crystallization of human technology, would inevitably have a lot of benefits. His biggest problem now was that the forces of the Luan Bird were complex; Sister Li, Moon Rabbit Starship, Shuibo, and Tudigong Starship were not under his control. If this new order unified, perhaps his control over these warships could be greatly enhanced!

Xu Qingxue’s heart skipped a beat.

General Wei also had no objections.

She looked at the three on Jupiter.

”We three have never participated in specific struggles; everyone knows this.”

”We do not care how you distribute benefits, but if you want to restrict our actions and ask us to do hard labor, then we will not comply.” Old Fungus Lao stated the bottom line.

He did not care how humanity distributed benefits, but if they were to make him work while he was staying well on Jupiter, no way.

”Okay, your freedom level is the same as Jiang Haipeng’s.”

Jiang Chen could not judge the specific strength of the three for a while, so he made a temporary compromise, allowing them to have a high enough degree of freedom like Jiang Haipeng, which was considered to exclude their obstruction.

After successively excluding obstacles, Jiang Chen cast his gaze on the last person, Xu Qingxue.

He smiled and said, ”Ms. Xu, what do you think?”

Xu Qingxue’s face was livid. The hard bones had been chewed, what else could she say?

She was about to compromise, but just then, she suddenly thought of something and asked: ”How to deal with Mars?”

”You want to ask about the magnetic field jump technology and light sword casting technology on the Mars Base, right?”

”These two things, I have drawn them out overnight.”

”As long as everyone joins this new order, these two technologies can be made public and open source.”

”If anyone does not want to join, I can also list a blacklist for you individually.”

When Jiang Chen said this, the scene was in an uproar.

”What! He cracked both the magnetic field jump technology and light sword casting technology?”

”This is impossible, right? That is the highest-level secret technology of the Mars Base. How did he get it?”

”That is the highest secret technology rumored to be left by the Lighthouse of the Lizard Queen on the Ascension Star. Even if cracked, can it be digested so quickly?”

Everyone was skeptical.

Just then, Jiang Chen asked people to unfold the big screen and displayed a part of the technical drawings he had dismantled before.

For a moment, the whole venue boiled over.

Magnetic field jump technology, one-sixth the speed of light!

Previously, only the Mars Base possessed it. Now, if it were made public, it would be enough to make the cake of all humanity grow bigger again.
