Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

211: Chapter 211 Area 51 Alien BaseThe Eskimo Ice Sheet.

It is the largest glacier within the Arctic Circle.

This is not a continent—in fact, there are no continents in the Arctic Circle—but the average thickness of this glacier reaches over ten meters, and at its thickest point, it is even 3,000 meters deep.

Many Eskimos live on this ice sheet year-round.

Their food comes from the seafood beneath the fractured glacier.

The houses they live in are called igloos, which are houses built by piling up snowflakes...

The temperature here is dozens of degrees below zero year-round, and because there is no landmass, the living environment is far harsher than that of the Antarctic continent.

Whoosh.

The cold wind howled.

A three-ton seal was sitting on a small piece of fractured glacier, basking in the sun.

Just then, a kayak rushed over from not far away, and several Eskimos on it were yelling as they forcefully threw harpoons.

They hit the seal instantly.

The seal let out a cry and plunged beneath the glacier, trying to escape, but it had been harpooned. It fled frantically, dragging a boat full of Eskimos with it, until, completely exhausted, the seal finally ran out of strength.

Only then did the Eskimos work together to haul the seal up.

They cheered, celebrating the fact that they would have a wonderful dinner tonight.

”Woo-woo, woo-woo, what is that?”

Just then, an Eskimo, facing the morning sun on the ice sheet, pointed in a direction not far away.

Everyone looked over and saw that, beneath a white cloud, ten horses were pulling a flying object shaped like a fishing boat, slowly moving horizontally at an altitude of one hundred meters.

This bizarre scene left even the Eskimos, who were accustomed to seeing alien flying saucers, stunned.

”Are these alien gods?”

A younger Eskimo asked blankly.

They had lived on this ice sheet for years, and according to the older generation of Eskimos, deep in the ice sheet, there was an abode of alien gods where they had built an ark called the Lighthouse, which could reach the other side of deep space.

”Alien gods we have never seen before!”

An older Eskimo, seeing this, knelt down on the spot and prostrated himself before the ten-horse-drawn boat moving horizontally in the distance, muttering to himself.

The other Eskimos also knelt down one after another, following along and chanting in an ancient language.

And this fishing boat was none other than the pearl river 888, which was planning to head to the Area 51 alien base.

At this moment, Jiang Chen was in the cockpit, checking the images transmitted by the scanner.

The screen showed a group of Eskimos hunting seals below.

This group of Eskimos had suddenly knelt down in his direction.

Jiang Chen was stunned for a moment, but he soon understood.

For this group of semi-primitive people who had lived in a non-modern society for years, the scene of horses walking in the sky and a boat flying in the sky was truly like a myth.

”Whoosh!”

The small fishing boat instantly left that airspace at twenty times the speed of sound.

By the time the Eskimos looked up, Jiang Chen was already gone.

This scene made them even more convinced that the small fishing boat was the existence of alien gods.

Not long after, the small fishing boat arrived at the deepest part of the ice sheet. This location was exceptionally cold, already over sixty degrees below zero, and even the Eskimos were unwilling to approach this place.

However, on this ice sheet, there were clearly traces of human construction, with bases covered by ice and snow appearing one after another.

But now, these bases had all suffered varying degrees of damage.

This was likely the damage caused by the Lighthouse before it flew away from here.

Jiang Chen parked the small fishing boat nearby.

He was just about to go in and take a look alone.

Unexpectedly, Ren Xiao, General Meng Tian, and the others also jumped down from the Horse Terracotta Warriors, with some clearing the way in front and others following behind to provide protection.

”There’s no need to make such a big fuss, is there?”

Jiang Chen said with a smile.

Ren Xiao replied, ”The energy in this place is abundant, and the particles are active, so we must proceed with caution.”

”What energy, what particles?” Jiang Chen was a bit puzzled. Although he knew that these soldiers were ancient mechas, he still hadn’t figured out how they operated internally.

Ren Xiao said, ”We have a system inside us specifically for detecting energy, which can sense where there are high-energy organisms and machinery, allowing us to take precautions in advance.”

”That’s a good feature. You find for me where the energy is the most abundant and the particles are the most active, and I’ll go take a look.”

Jiang Chen asked curiously.

The thunder within him had made him a Super S-sequence, and theoretically, his energy was already very abundant, and his particles were active enough.

He wanted to see if there were any organisms with higher energy than himself.

Ren Xiao scanned an entrance that vaguely read ”Base No. 7,” and then walked forward, saying, ”This way.”

After saying that, he punched the collapsed mechanical door at the entrance of the base, blasting it open.

He had actually forced a passage open.

Jiang Chen, saving himself the trouble and effort, followed him into the base entrance.

”This must have cost a fortune to build.”

As soon as Jiang Chen entered the base passage, he sighed inwardly.

He had been to the Great Wall Scientific Research Station on the Antarctic continent, but even though the Dragon Kingdom was a master of infrastructure, the construction of the Scientific Research Station was not as sophisticated as this Area 51 alien base.

The man and the ten soldiers walked towards the depths of the base all the way.

Inside this base, besides various experimental chambers, there were a series of military factories. Judging from the remains of some large-scale equipment, before it was destroyed, it should have been used to build space motherships.

”I wonder if it can be restored?”

Jiang Chen looked at these destroyed devices and muttered to himself.

Although Pangu Base was already under construction on the Antarctic continent, apart from the core technology, the other parts still had to be built from scratch, which would take a considerable amount of time.

If he could refer to the overall assembly process of the Lighthouse, perhaps he could shorten the time and evolve further.

Unknowingly, Jiang Chen was led by Ren Xiao to the vicinity of a giant circular pit. He stood at one corner of the circular pit and glanced at this strange circular pit. Below was a series of strange mechanical devices, and there were many large holes in the pit walls, leading to unknown places.

”Huh, the equipment in this circular pit hasn’t been damaged?”

”What is this for?”

Jiang Chen asked Ren Xiao in confusion.

However, Ren Xiao just shook his head.

He just said, ”In my detection, the energy in this place is very abundant, and the particles are quite active.”

”What particles?”

”Qi particles, thunder attribute.”

Thunder-attribute Qi particles?

Jiang Chen’s eyes lit up. Didn’t this align with his own attributes?

”Xue Yao said that the Lizard Queen has only been at the Super S-sequence for all these years, and it’s possible that this is the ceiling for what can exist on Earth... If I absorb enough thunder-attribute Qi particles, I wonder if I can break through this ceiling?”

As Jiang Chen was thinking this, the sound of a large transport plane suddenly came from outside Base No. 7. It was likely that the core high-level officials from the Longke Academy and other major departments had also sent people over to investigate.
