Why Would an Aircraft Carrier Be Dispatched to Escort His Fishing Boat?

204: Chapter 204 Sister Li’s Ship Also Takes Flight[Resolution No. 10923 has been passed: conduct a surgical aerial strike on the Black Palace.]

Twenty-seven core departments supported the aerial strike on the Black Palace with 27 votes in favor, 0 against, and 0 abstentions.

This resolution was made both in response to the massive losses at the Tiangong Station and after evaluating the strength of both sides.

The United States’ last Lighthouse fled Earth under mysterious circumstances, which indicates that the United States has lost its final fortress, and now is the best time to dismantle it.

Very quickly.

Commander Tang Ze at the Naval Department Base also wore a grim expression as he relayed this news to the various aircraft carrier fleets.

[Sister Li aircraft carrier fleet, you are to proceed to the north of Alaska immediately and blockade the surrounding waters!]

[Dragon God aircraft carrier fleet, Dragon Soul aircraft carrier fleet, both of you are to proceed immediately to the Black Palace to conduct a surgical aerial strike!]

[Codename: For Tiangong!]

Sister Li is the closest to Alaska.

Dragon God counts as a semi-aerospace carrier and can fly directly over the Black Palace.

Dragon Soul is in the Pacific Ocean and can also reach the western waters of the United States, then dispatch the Xuannü to conduct the aerial strike!

[Received!]

Upon receiving the news, all three major aircraft carrier fleets accelerated toward their designated positions.

”Has the United States gone mad? How dare they initiate an attack?” Xue Yao was instantly enraged the moment she received the news.

She hadn’t even steered the aircraft carrier to the Lighthouse yet, and to her surprise, the enemy had struck first.

Looking at the data and images transmitted back by the satellite, Jiang Chen frowned and said, ”Something is wrong with the flight direction of this Lighthouse.”

”What’s wrong with it?”

”Its flight path clearly indicates it is leaving Earth. Moreover, subsequent satellite monitoring hasn’t detected it returning to Earth!”

Jiang Chen was suspicious.

At this moment, he still believed that the actions of the Lighthouse were ordered by the Lord of the Black Robe.

Xue Yao raised an eyebrow: ”Do you mean that the Lighthouse has defected?”

Jiang Chen shook his head: ”I’m not sure, but it’s also possible they are heading to the Mars Base?”

”Regardless of where it went, since they dared to attack our space station, they must pay the price!”

Xue Yao said through gritted teeth.

If it weren’t for the timely warning, those astronauts might have met an unfortunate end.

This grudge must be avenged!

”Mhm!”

Jiang Chen nodded.

He said to Xue Yao, ”You take the aircraft carrier to blockade Alaska first, and I will follow the Dragon God to the skies above the Black Palace!”

”Ah, but I want to go too!”

Xue Yao was eager to try, wanting to pilot the Xuannü and head to the skies above the Black Palace as well.

However!

As the commander of Sister Li, she had other duties and could not leave her post without authorization.

Jiang Chen said, ”I’ll start a livestream for you so you can watch live how I perform surgery on the Black Palace.”

”Okay!”

Only then did Xue Yao feel a sense of participation.

”Dad, I want to go with you to that so-called Black Shop.” Commander Jiang Qiuzhi sat in the eight views carriage; she wanted to see just how dark this ’Black Shop’ her dad mentioned was, to the point that her dad intended to perform surgery on it.

Jiang Chen lifted her and the eight views carriage down: ”Don’t get involved in this mess. Stay with Mom and protect Haipeng... Wait, where is Haipeng?”

”Go find Haipeng! Dad is leaving now.”

Jiang Chen piloted the small fishing boat at the first cosmic velocity, flying away from the northern waters of the Polar Bear and heading straight for the Black Palace.

”Qiu, be good, go help Mom find Haipeng.”

Xue Yao coaxed Commander Jiang Qiuzhi.

Haipeng was now nearly half a month old, and although he was still clutching a milk bottle, he was already running around everywhere.

Moreover, he ran very fast; often, while walking, the volunteer sisters would lose track of him.

They would have to turn on infrared scanning to discover the little guy sleeping under a table in the dining hall.

Commander Jiang Qiuzhi sighed helplessly and had to go look for this younger brother of hers.

But after searching for a long time, she couldn’t find him.

Xue Yao had to have people turn on the infrared again to find Jiang Haipeng.

However!

This time, the infrared even failed.

”No way, is he not on the aircraft carrier?”

Xue Yao was instantly anxious.

She was about to have people search to see if her son was hanging off one of the carrier’s side wings.

Just then.

The cries of birds came from the sky.

A subordinate, sweating profusely, hurried over to report: ”Commander, Commander, your son has returned with a flock of birds!”

”Huh?”

With a bewildered look, Xue Yao ran to the aircraft carrier deck.

She saw her son riding on the back of a Black Eagle. This Black Eagle was over twenty meters long, its size no smaller than a fighter jet, and its claws were as sharp as steel, looking extremely imposing.

But at this moment, it was actually crouching on the deck. Her son was lying on its back, crossing his legs, biting on his milk bottle, and waving at her, shouting: ”Mom, come here, the back of this Black Eagle is great for a nap!”

Xue Yao walked over vigilantly; if this Black Eagle dared to attack her, she would make it experience a 100-million-volt internet addiction treatment.

Fortunately, the creature was sensible and didn’t move a muscle.

Xue Yao let out a sigh of relief. She pinched her son’s ear, lifted him down, and scolded him.

”Who told you to leave the aircraft carrier!”

”If you had fallen into the ocean, how would I explain it to your dad!”

Jiang Haipeng tilted his head and cried out: ”Ouch, let me go, I won’t fall into the ocean. Little Black is an experienced driver, his flying is very steady.”

”Exactly, you can say I’m ugly, but you can’t say my driving skills are bad.” The Black Eagle actually spoke.

”...”

Xue Yao finally understood that this flock of birds had become sentient.

She frowned, looking at her son, and then at the birds circling around, and asked suspiciously: ”Why are these birds listening to you so well?”

”Maybe because in my past life, I was the King of Birds,” Jiang Haipeng replied.

”Past life? You’re just talking nonsense.”

Xue Yao smiled, thinking the child was just spouting nonsense. She said, ”If you were the King of Birds in your past life, wouldn’t that mean you could command this flock of birds?”

”Of course I can.”

”Little Black, go call your little friends over and lift my mom’s aircraft carrier up!”

Jiang Haipeng instructed the Black Eagle.

The Black Eagle nodded, flew off the deck, and flapped its wings, unleashing a hurricane that nearly knocked several mecha soldiers off balance.

One could imagine the sheer power of this Black Eagle.

Xue Yao was half-skeptical, merely looking around.

Before long.

A large flock of birds indeed swarmed in, using their sharp claws and beaks to grab onto iron chains, railings, and the edges of the ship.

With their combined strength, the entire Sister Li actually slowly lifted into the air.

”Holy crap! This is heaven-defying!”

Xue Yao was stunned.

When Sister Li was suspended about ten meters in the air.

A large number of birds flew under Sister Li and pushed upward.

The entire aircraft carrier took off with ease.

The remaining warships were also lifted into the sky one by one.

[Everyone, don’t panic, shut down the power systems.]

In her shock, Xue Yao quickly used the radio to notify the various warships.

These birds were extremely intelligent; they actually arranged all the warships and the aircraft carrier into an ’A’ shaped combat formation.

”Haha, looking at it this way, can my Sister Li be considered a semi-aerospace carrier now?”

In her excitement, Xue Yao was just about to send a radio message to Commander Tang Ze at the Naval Department Base.

Commander Tang Ze had already sent a radio message first.

[Commander Qin, what is going on! Why does my radar show that your entire Sister Li aircraft carrier fleet... has taken off???]
