Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride

Chapter 771: The Tigress’ Confession

Though not an ideal date, the three women didn’t give Nikolai a hard time; they instead focused on each other, despite bickering and vying for his affection. None of them took the arguments or complaints further than a playful remark.

‘That was quite relaxing.’

Nikolai glanced at the fading backs of his three wives, the two youngest waving back at him excitedly after getting new promises to travel abroad after everything ended, just the three of them at that… ‘That might cause trouble with the others thought.’

“I should prepare myself, haha.”

There was no doubt in his mind that the girls would be giggling and bragging about it when they got back.

Alas, he couldn’t spend time thinking about that when his next visitor was waiting for him in the annexed mansion, which was rarely used.

“Why did she refuse to stay in the main mansion…. It’s not safe here.”

Ever since the eastern wall was breached, he’d forced his wives and most maids to move to the main building and the area surrounding it. Yet, for some reason, Madoka refused his request and stayed in the easternmost mansion that stood against the attack.

“Come to think of it…”

He thought of Madoka and how little he knew about her as he approached the building, bathed in the madder red light of the blood moon, looming ever closer to the surface as it swallowed half the sky like some fairy tale.

‘I wonder what we should talk about.’

He needed to gain her support to convince many of the SSS higher-ups to work with them over the next few days and, hopefully, the months afterwards. It just didn’t sit right with Nikolai to visit her for this reason.

“She’s also carrying my child. Not to mention her being a human who suddenly started transforming into a monster. The very monsters she’s held a grudge and hatred for all her life… wouldn’t it be agonising for her to endure that alone?”

Nikolai’s hands clenched into fists as he approached the mansion, able to see the remnants of damage on the outer walls from the main entrance.

Despite this, the light of the mansion remained lit.

A few small flickers of light surrounded what he remembered to be the master bedroom.

Nikolai stopped beneath the master bedroom window.

He couldn’t help but feel something different, but the change wasn’t one of danger. His instincts didn’t scream or demand that he transform, but the scent flowing from the slightly opened window above made the hairs across his arms rise nevertheless.

‘Did something happen to Madoka?’

After all the times they fought, grappled and made each other suffer since meeting. There was still a ridiculous boundary that existed between them. He could probably recognise that woman while half-dead and buried beneath a mountain of corpses.

Her scent was special to him.

Yes, Madoka was someone special despite his refusal.

The faint human smell he remembered had almost disappeared.

In its place was something rich and wild, carrying the heat of fresh blood, female sweat and the unmistakable musk of a powerful beast. There was still something uniquely Madoka beneath it, but now the scent assaulted the bestial part of Nikolai’s mind before the rational one could even understand what he was smelling.

His throat became dry.

He tried to swallow his spit to quench his thirst, but it only made things worse.

“…She’s really changed.”

Without any reason to hesitate further, Nikolai entered the mansion.

The interior remained clean despite the damage outside, although several rooms near the eastern wall were sealed beneath heavy plastic sheets while the servants repaired the broken masonry. Nobody greeted him, which meant Madoka had likely told whoever remained here to leave her alone.

‘Typical.’

He climbed the stairs.

With every step, her scent became stronger.

Then another aroma joined it.

An even sweeter and more tantalising flavour. Milk.

Nikolai stopped halfway along the upper corridor and slapped his own cheek, the sound travelling through the silent mansion like a bomb.

PAH!

“…Fuck.”

He rubbed his face.

‘Don’t be a bastard. You didn’t come here to wet your wick.’

Of course she was producing milk now; she was pregnant with his child, and he knew that clearly, but the changes in her body applied even to this. It was similar to the change in Nikita when pregnant… But there was absolutely no reason for the knowledge that her breasts were producing milk to make his imagination run wild.

He just couldn’t stop his thirst and desire to taste it.

Nikolai continued walking as he claimed to be calm and over it.

His throbbing erection disagreed.

“Tsk…”

By the time he reached the master bedroom, he had managed to calm himself enough that the bulge wasn’t completely obvious after tucking it out of sight. Then knocking didn’t feel completely ridiculous.

Knock. Knock.

There was no reply.

He waited, not wanting to rush inside and cause an issue or argument again.

“…Madoka?”

Nikolai raised his arm, about to knock once more, until a low, sensual voice like crisp velvet drifted through the door like a beckoning hand, stroking his cheek.

“What are you doing? Stop loitering while getting off on my scent and come inside.”

“…”

His eyebrow twitched.

‘I fucking hate how good her senses have become.’

Nikolai opened the door.

The first thing he noticed wasn’t Madoka.

It was the heat.

Several windows had been opened despite the cold evening air, yet the bedroom remained strangely warm, almost humid. A fire burned inside the old fireplace while a few lamps illuminated the large room with soft amber light that mixed with the crimson glow bleeding through the curtains.

Then he saw her.

“….”

Madoka sat sideways near the edge of the enormous bed.

Her raven-black hair had grown longer since Nikolai last saw her properly, falling loosely behind her shoulders while several strands framed a face that he recognised immediately and yet somehow looked completely different.

More fierce, with sharper features and yet… carrying a mature beauty.

The softer human beauty she once possessed had transformed into something far more striking as her jaw became slightly more defined and her golden eyes seemed brighter beneath thicker lashes. Two small pointed tiger ears now rose naturally from her dark hair where ordinary human ears should have been, twitching the moment Nikolai entered.

Faint black stripes travelled across her pale skin.

They weren’t ugly or overpowering.

Rather, the markings started delicately around her shoulders and ribs before fading across her waist and thighs, giving the impression that some artist had painted them beneath otherwise smooth, almost flawless skin.

And then there was her body.

‘Jesus fucking Christ…’

Madoka had always been athletic, but human women couldn’t quite match men when it came to muscles or physical force.

‘With some rare exceptions, of course.’

Now she looked dangerous.

Her transformation had added several centimetres to her height while refining every muscle across her long legs, abdomen and arms. Nothing looked bulky; instead, they rippled elegantly beneath her skin, creating the lean body of a noble predator that could probably tear a grown vampire apart before breakfast.

A thick striped tiger tail rested across the mattress behind her.

Its tip flicked once or twice before curling around her right thigh as she let out a snort. Her lips curved upward, likely pleased; he couldn’t remove his eyes.

Nikolai’s eyes travelled upward again.

‘Oh….’

That might’ve been the biggest change that drove him crazy.

Madoka wore a dark wine-red babydoll that barely reached the tops of her thighs. The thin material hung loosely around her stomach, unable to completely hide the growing swell of Nikolai’s child, yet the upper portion suffered a considerably worse battle.

Her breasts had become enormous.

It wasn’t a matter of fullness, shape or how heavy they were now.

The thin cups strained desperately around what had to be F-cups now, and the pale flesh pushed against the wine-red fabric as though one deep breath might finally end the garment’s suffering.

Even from the doorway, Nikolai could smell the sweet milk filling them.

Madoka watched his eyes slowly descend, shift away, then peek again as her sharp golden eyes narrowed into slits and her smirk grew wider.

“Finished?”

“No.”

The answer escaped before Nikolai could stop himself.

“Eh?” Madoka’s mouth opened wide, as if she didn’t expect him to be so honest; her eyes slid down his body before “Oh wow…” reached his crotch- that was about as dangerous as her chest now. “That thing looks like it’s dying to burst free…” Her long pink tongue slipped across her bottom lip, giving it a glossy sheen.

“It’s no better than your obscene chest… are they real?!”

“!!!!”

Madoka stared at him.

Nikolai stared back.

Then one corner of her mouth rose as her nostrils flared with a huff.

“…At least you’re still honest.”

“Haa…”

He closed the door behind himself.

“You could’ve warned me.”

“About what?”

She opened both arms slightly.

“This?”

Her tail swayed behind her.

Nikolai gestured vaguely towards everything.

“Yes. This.”

Madoka looked down at herself, a pleased grin on her face as she shifted on the soft sheets. “It’s just my body, and well…” She paused before narrowing her eyes playfully. “If you bothered to answer my calls… wouldn’t you know already?”

“Tsk, stop showing off.”

“What? Can’t I be proud of this new body you gave me? It’s just a body; don’t be so stupid.”

“…your tits are bigger than Selene’s…”

His face froze the instant he spoke, completely shattering her expectations as her expression cracked.

Madoka lowered her head, shoulders trembling for a moment before a surprisingly feminine laugh escaped her.

“You haven’t changed at all.”

“Does it matter when you’ve changed enough for both of us?”

Nikolai approached the bed.

The closer he came, the more obvious the transformation became.

Her old scars had faded.

The wounds and damage accumulated throughout years of SSS work were almost completely gone, replaced by smooth white skin and those faint black stripes. Even her hands looked different; longer fingers ended in slightly sharpened nails that weren’t quite claws until she flexed them.

Madoka noticed where he was looking and smiled gently. “Do you want to touch them?”

“What?!”

“Hahaha, not my tits. My ears, of course… You perverted male.”

“Madoka!”

She leaned closer, her dangerous atmosphere completely different to his other women; she was like a wild beast who’d only chosen to lie with him out of amusement. “You can touch those all you like later… we have business first, right?”

“Ah… so you knew?”

Nikolai didn’t want her to feel like this, although it’s true he forced himself on Madoka in Londis and got her pregnant. He didn’t know how to deal with this relationship, though he would take responsibility… Madoka never seemed to blame him.

Rather, he’d found her much happier about it since the hospital meeting a month ago.

“I didn’t want you to think…Mmmm?”

Madoka pressed her fingertip across his lips. “Shhhhh, don’t be like that. I know you’re not that kind of man. Otherwise, I would never have accepted or considered becoming your woman… What kind of fool do you take me for, Nikolai?”

“Eh, but I thought…”

“Moron, from the moment we met in Londis, did you truly think I didn’t have an attraction to you as a male? Idiot… I could have stopped what happened easily.” She traced the curve of his lips, slowly stroking along his cheekbone as her words travelled through the air. “There is a little lie I told you… and it seems because of how out of it you were at that time, you believed it…”

Her voice was like a sheet of dusky silk, stroking his ears with the most sensual massage, each word sending tingles directly through his brain.

Then, as she leaned closer and nibbled the tip.

Her confession blew his mind.

“But, Nikolai. It was I who tempted you into my bed that night… just… like… this.” With that, she lowered her right shoulder, and the wine-red babydoll slipped off her twin peaks until it reached her waist.

She slipped both palms under her heavy mounds, softly raising the swollen tips and pointing towards Nikolai’s bulging eyes.

“There, how do you like them now?”
