Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 1315: Sharon Lee (Forbidden Earth Flame Wizard)

From MCʼs Perspective:

Two days later,

Inside the guest room, I have been staying here inside the Wonders Shop. Palma Wonders told me that her master is on the way, so I had no choice but to wait for her.

What shocked me was the news of the True Elements Society. I was forced to leave because of the red, weird bird.

I never expected the True Elements Society to face an attack right after that. The information I learned was truly chilling.

The True Elements Society had captured Rhys Perry and others. The Magic Lord of the Perry Family had retaliated in the end. He had the help of two Foreign Magic Lords as well.

”Three Magic Lords attacked the True Elements Society,” I said in my heart.

Not only had such existences attacked the True Elements Society, but the True Elements Society was able to survive in the end. Word is out there that Head Howard used a trump card to kill three Magic Lords in the end.

It feels more unbelievable to me. I left the True Elements Society because I felt unsafe there. But they have eliminated all the threats now. There is no Perry Family in the Ancient Redwood Country.

But I donʼt plan on going back. I had already given my word to her. Iʼm going to the Mage Union. After gaining some clarity in my thoughts, I pushed aside my thoughts about the True Elements Society.

”Vincent Carey, are you there?”

I heard the voice of Palma. I stood up and went to meet her.

When I walked out of the room, I noticed someone standing behind her.

”System, temporarily allow her to see through me,” I said to the system in my mind.

[Ding! Host has granted permission]

[Ding! Lifting off the blockade temporarily]

The system voice sounded in my mind.

The woman has long brown hair and eyes. She was dressed in a black magic robe. The magic robe gives off a vibe of royalty.

As I looked at her, she was also looking at me. I could feel her gaze scanning me from top to bottom.

”Iʼm Sharon Lee, Forbidden Earth Flame Wizard,” the woman introduced herself.

Her words fell like a thunderclap in my ears.

”Forbidden,” I blurted out in surprise.

Not long ago, I received the inheritance of the Forbidden Gravity Wizard. But Iʼm actually seeing one right now.

”Master, he is Vincent Carey, Gravity Wizard from the True Elements Society,” Palma Wonders said with a smile.

”Oh,” Sharon raised her eyebrows in surprise.

Feeling her gaze, I felt a sense of unease. But I couldnʼt do anything right now.

”Kid, you are a level-7 Wizard, right?” Sharon asked.

”Yes, my lord,” I replied.

”What?”

”Wasnʼt he a level-9 Wizard?” Palma Wonders asked.

Sharon smiled and said, ”Donʼt worry about it, Palma; he is still talented. He is two years younger than you.”

Hearing that, Palma was shocked. She thought they were peers.

On the other hand, I was not surprised. I smiled in response.

”I heard about your story. But the situation of the True Elements Society is alright right now.”

”What do you think?”

”Have you made up your mind?” Sharon asked.

She has made a confirmation right now that the kid is talented. She could feel the kidʼs rule power understanding close to level-8.

According to her, it will be a matter of time before he reaches Level-8. The talent can be comparable to her disciple.

Palma Wonders was in a state of shock as well. She was silently listening to their conversation.

On the other hand, I didnʼt give much thought.

”Iʼm ready to leave. There is a lack of resources here. Only if I go to a better place can I get gravity magic resources,” I said to her.

”Good,” Sharon Lee uttered.

She liked the response because she too knows that this part of the world is quite barren. If Wizards donʼt have top talent, then itʼs impossible for them to reach Supreme Level in their lifetime.

Whether in other parts of the world, even the average talented wizard can become Supreme.

She then looked at the young kid and said, ”Okay, you can come with us. We were leaving right away.”

Hearing that, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

Palma Wonders said, ”Master, are we going now?”

”Yes, I already told your parents. If you want, you can say goodbye to them,” Sharon said.

Swoosh!

”Okay,” After saying that, Palma left right away.

Sharon Lee then turned towards the kid.

”Vincent, let me tell you about the Mage Union?”

”So that you can be mentally prepared?” Sharon said before sitting on the sofa.

Seeing that, I stood in the same spot.

”Relax!”

”You can take your seat,” Sharon said.

Hearing that, I sat in the nearby chair.

Sharon Lee then said, ”The Mage Union is located in another part of the world. The place is called Mage City. The city itself is many times larger in size.”

”The size can include many Super Large Nations,” she added.

Hearing that, my heart set off storms. Many Super Large Nations? What does it mean? I have heard of cities inside the country, but not countries inside the city.

”Like any other countries, there are numerous forces in Mage City called Factions. They are part of the Mage Union.”

”The people of these factions are powerful wizards who are extremely talented. Some of them are specially recruited from different parts of the world.”

”Each of the recruits has become powerful wizards after joining the Mage Union. With your talent and magic, you can directly become a part of the Mage Union.”

”But your magic level is too low right now. There is a fixed number of quotas each year. If I take you there to apply, you might not get selected,” After explaining that, she paused.

My heart skipped a beat. I looked at her in confusion. Earlier, she said I could join without a problem with my talent and magic. But now she is saying Iʼm not able to get a quota.

Sharon Lee saw the confusion in Vincentʼs eyes.

She then continued to say, ”In order to get a quota, you should be a Magic level-9 Wizard and above first.”

”You are still a level-7 Wizard,” she added.

Hearing that, a look of understanding dawned on me.

”Only level-9 Wizards and above can join,” I said in my heart.

I think that criteria was too harsh.

”Is there no way?” I asked.

Sharon smiled and replied, ”There is a way. Itʼs called the Wizard Seed. Those who are like you can get a Wizard Seed Quota.”

”They are basically like Trainee Members of the Mage Union, but not official members. However, there is one advantage to it.”

”If you can get the Wizard Seed Quota, you can join any of the official factions under the Mage Union. The factions are run by the official members.”

”I belong to one such faction as well,” she added.

Hearing that, I seemed to understand more about the other parts of the world. The competition and rivalry must be heavy.

”There are many factions. For example, the Taboo and Sub-Taboo Factions. From the name, you can guess that they are Taboo and Sub-Taboo Wizards.”

”I can recommend you to join the Sub-Taboo Faction. You can easily get gravity magic resources. Once you become a level-9 Wizard, you can directly get resources from the Mage Union,” she said.

Hearing that, I felt I had made a good decision to leave. If I could join the Sub-Taboo Faction, then I would become a Supreme Wizard without a problem.

Suddenly, I thought of something. I heard the Mage Union was full of scholars who study and research. But whatʼs with the different factions?

Sharon Lee noticed something troubling the kid.

”Do you have any doubts?” she asked.

I asked, ”Lord, whatʼs the job of these factions?”

A quick gleam flashed in her eyes.

She didnʼt expect the kid to think about it. She revealed a mysterious smile on her face. She didnʼt think it was good to tell him right now.

She said, ”If you are able to join the Sub-Taboo Faction, you will know eventually.”

I nodded to her. I already got so much information from her. I can still wait.

”There is one more thing. Donʼt think that place is easy. There is tough competition for resources. The higher the wizard level, the higher grade resources you might need.”

”So mentally prepare yourself. You might face danger from outside as well as from your own faction. But as long as you survive and become a level-9 Wizard...”

”You will be given official member status. No one will dare to mess with you,” she said with a smile.

On the other hand, I recalled a bad memory. There is a Supreme Wizard from the neighboring country. He had targeted me before but failed to end me.

”Lord, is there anyone with the title ʼMeteoro Supremeʼ in the Mage Union?” I asked her.

”Meteoro Supreme, that old man. Yeah, he is a junior from a barren place as well. How do you know?” she asked.

Hearing that, my heart set off storms.
