Genetic Ascension

Chapter 775  Shaping [Ko-Fi Donation Bonus]

Sylas felt his Will pouring into the surroundings. Rune Vitality sparked all on its own and the Runes that were dodging just out of his attention found themselves frozen in time much like what he had experienced in the midst of Temporal Lock.

All of a sudden, what had been an extremely difficult process seemed to click into place for him.

The swimming Runes, once constantly changing, morphing, shapeshifting, slowed to a crawl until it looked as though they werenʼt moving at all.

Though Sylas could tell that they were still moving, they were doing so at such a crawl that they reflected in his mind with ease.

The burden on Sylasʼ mind plummeted as though he had crossed over a threshold.

The spike of pain Sylas braced himself for didnʼt come. His Dual Class Constitution made its boldness known once again, tanking the shredding apart and rebuilding of his mind with a practiced ease that was only possible for such a special body.

In the past, Sylas would have certainly passed out.

Sylas didnʼt expect this change. He had thought that with how things were going, he would need a great change for his Charisma to finally catch up to his Will. But as it turned out, all he had to do was continue to upgrade his Will and it would eventually follow.

All of a sudden, the world felt so much more… obedient.

A connection between Sylas Rune Mastery and the Runes around him solidified and he felt that it was even easier to impose his might onto the world.

His Wisdom was offloaded, the heavy burden it had been carrying before vanishing into the ether, and because of that, instead of dwindling down, it actually began to recover.

For the first time, although it should have been plainly obvious before given what he knew about the stat, Sylas realized just how important Charisma was to Rune Mastery. How could it not be?

Charisma was the measure of how much your Will could influence, impact, and impose its, well, will onto the world around you.

How could this not be inextricably linked to wielding and controlling Runes?

But it wasnʼt just this.

ʼA Shaping Will…ʼ

Sylasʼ Will felt more tangible than ever before, experiencing the largest leap in power he had ever experienced.

If before his Will could only exhibit around 500 pounds of presence, it could now exhibit around 1000. This essentially meant that if Sylas activated Madness, he could exhibit 2900 pounds of Physical.

This was akin to a half a ton heavy beast blazing around with 2900 Speed, Dexterity, Strength and Constitution.

With just his telekinesis alone, Sylas could probably shatter very real, very powerful people to pieces with a single push of his intention.

And this didnʼt include the extra +300% boost that would be added to his Will from Mixed Martial Arts either. But Sylas chose not to count it because that would imbalance his Will and Charisma once again.

This sort of power… it was absolutely intoxicating. For a moment, Sylas couldnʼt help but stand there in a daze, wondering if this strength was well and truly his own.

He didnʼt know why he felt such a cognitive dissonance about it, as though he didnʼt deserve it, or as though he should still be standing behind a lab tablet, pencil pushing and twisting the knobs of a microscope.

He looked to the skies, seeming piercing through the veil toward those that were no doubt observing him right this moment.

He just stood there for a long while, staring, looking, allowing his heart to return to a peaceful state of tranquility.

And then he moved.

The Gene String was ripped out of the pool of waters in one smooth motion, cutting off at the perfect point.

The second door rippled and Sylas proceeded to the next, and then the next.

Every time, his performance was perfect. He didnʼt bother to hide or act. He looked like his actions were just as vigorous as they would be if he was trying his very best, but every time, under his control, he stopped at the precisely perfect point.

Many were still watching in shock. They never thought that there could possibly be someone with such a performance. At the very least, those that performed this well did so in the controlled environment of their homes, while Sylas was doing it in a place that was the exact opposite.

Yet, one step after another, he cleared the doors, then moved onto the F Secret Realm, then the F+. And then, he finally stepped foot into the FF- Secret Realm.
