Omega Summoner

“Devil! That damn demon teamed up with the devils!” The Primordial Beast of Greed wanted to shout out but the strength on its body slowly started to fade.

The body that it currently can no longer function properly as it is being assaulted with energy that can make it feel pain. The number of treasures it has inside its Greed Vault has diminished to the point that it can no longer create an appropriate defense. The start of the demise of the Primordial Beast of Greed is when its powerful defensive skill was rendered useless. It became an easy target dummy once its main source of protection vanished.

“I cannot die like this! I must live! I am greedy to live!” The Primordial Beast of Greed thought as it wanted to live properly once more.

The Primordial Beast of Greed did not want to admit it, but it wanted to be free from the control of the secret organization that it has formed a pact with. The Primordial Beasts of Sin agreed to the pact because they thought they would gain absolute freedom but that was not true. The secret organization of fallen gods managed to create vessels that made them their lapdogs.

The Primordial Beast of Greed wanted to be released from control as greed can only become powerful when left uncheck. Getting the unbound teleportation scroll was one of the ways that the Primordial Beast of Greed thought of leaving. The people of this world might not know but the Primordial Beast of Greed thought of using the scroll for hopping into another plane of existence or world altogether. The control of the secret organization would surely vanish once it was already off world.

“It is because of that damn demon! It used my own greed against me!” The Primordial Beast of Greed thought as it saw the sword of the Sword Saint Namgung Myeong burning bright like the sun.

“Wait! That demon has my own Greed inside of him! Why did I not think of this sooner! A young demon like that will definitely be unable to defend against me!” The Primordial Beast of Greed suddenly thought as a last resort because the current body it has must be discarded.

“It is time to die, foul beast of sin!” The Sword Saint Namgung Myeong shouted as he waved his sword that carried the speed of light and the intense heat of the sun.

“Now!” The Primordial Beast of Greed thought as its own body got sliced in numerous pieces by the Sword Saint Namgung Myeong.

The Sword Saint Namgung Myeong released his most powerful sword art that utilized or rather copied the power of the sun. The body of the Primordial Beast of Greed got sliced into thousands of pieces before burning up. The Sword Saint Namgung Myeong thought that everything has ended but he suddenly felt that something was amiss.

[The body of the Primordial Beast of Greed has been destroyed.]

[An extremely large amount of experience points is given to all that participated as the Primordial Beast of Greed burned all of the assets it has inside of its Greed Vault.]

All of the people would have started celebrating as the Primordial Beast of Greed has been defeated and incinerated. Everyone started to cheer when they suddenly saw the demon flying in the skies fall down. Kanlaon safely caught its master that was suddenly induced in a state of sleep. The soulbounds knew what happened to their master and tried to intervene but they were repelled when they wanted to enter the subconscious of their master.

[Your soul has been targeted by the Primordial Beast of Greed using Greed is Everything.]

[You will now be sent into your own subconscious to fight against the Primordial Beast of Greed.]

Adrian did not expect that he would suddenly get possessed by the Primordial Beast of Greed. He did not think that this is possible as the primordial beasts are very proud of their body. The fact that the Primordial Beast of Greed had to discard its body like nothing and then possess the body of another means it is incredibly desperate.

“It might have reacted to the skill that I have absorbed from eating its fragment.” Adrian muttered.

“You are correct, idiotic demon! Who told you to go around absorbing parts of someone’s soul!? Even if you are the current Mediator of Death, a soul will still have their unique markers. The fact that the piece of my soul has already attached to you means that I have already one! I will take over your body and use it to lay waste to all you hold dear! Now, come to me my soul fragment!” The Primordial Beast of Greed now in the size of a human sized toad shouted inside of Adrian’s subconscious.

The Primordial Beast of Greed thought that the piece of its soul that has been absorbed by Adrian still has some form of autonomy and just sleeping. What it did not know is the fact that the part of its soul has already been a blank slate that has no ego whatsoever. The thing that the Primordial Beast of Greed felt inside of Adrian are just mere lingering feelings that the erased ego possessed.

“What! What have you done to my soul fragment?!” The Primordial Beast of Greed exclaimed as it suddenly felt that the world is closing in on it.

“Me? I merely erased the ego that was in it and used the parts that are usable. Who told you to go inside my subconscious though? Did you not look around when you came in here?” Adrian stated and the Primordial Beast of Greed suddenly noticed the area they are in, and it made the latter shudder.

The Primordial Beast of Greed finally saw the area around it and all of it represented the soul of the demon before him. The Primordial Beast of Greed thought that Adrian’s soul was the small figure it met but that was just a small projection meant to represent the real soul. The real soul that was grasping at them with its two open palms that they are currently standing on.
