Omega Summoner

Chapter 2558: The Dark Moon

The gods before Adrian were silent because they did not expect this turn of events. They always thought that the Mediator of Death would cower before them, but he even uttered the Lady of the Night. The partner of the God of Death Abaddon is not a simple goddess because she was almost as old as the twin gods. She was created by Chaos when there was nothing in the universe.

”Does anyone have a problem with my verdict? If you wish to form a petition, then you are free to do so. I already have people that will cater to your whims regarding the life of the newborn.” Adrian stated as he was given the sole duty of what the fate of the newborn will be. The Fates themselves clearly said that it was up to him if he needed to erase or redo.

”Uhmm... who would that be, honorable mediator?” One of the gods of life asked with a trembling voice.

”The Fates, of course. They were happy enough to push this decision onto me, and they will be more than happy to chat with you regarding the newborn. After all, they already started to spin the threads of fate for the newborn. They should be the ultimate decider if you want to return the life that has been revived. It will take them just one snip after all and everything would be decided. So, do any of you wish to ask them?” Adrian asked with a smile, but his entire body is just pure nether energy at the moment which meant he looked ominous smiling.

”It seems that the gods of death have overstayed their welcome. We have souls of the damned that needs punishing and sorting. We shall take our excuse.” The representative of the gods of death stated as they all bowed before creating a pit below them and vanishing inside of it.

”I think that we were just too preoccupied with emotions that the laws of reincarnation were slightly deviated. There was really not that much of a difference as only a fe... one step was skipped. The newborn will keep his life. We are the gods of life after all and that we should support all life. Say it with me!” The representative of the gods of life stated as he looked at the others for support.

”Support all life!” The other gods of life shouted with enthusiasm.

”We believe we were wrong with this one. Apologies for wasting your time. We shall need to go back and check on the status of all living beings now. Please go on your way, mediator. Thank you for your time.” The representative of the gods of life stated as he gestured that they will now leave.

”Thank you for your time.” The Gods of life stated as they created beautiful gates made of vines, flowers, and grass to escape.

”Seriously, they are really afraid of the Fates that much? I just casually mentioned it since they told me that they already started to spin the thread of reality for Erebus. These gods really need to chill sometimes and not call me for everything like this. I guess I need to be stricter in my visitation hours.” Adrian stated as he made sure to limit the number of summons these gods can do as they are already testing his patience.

Anyways, I need to get back to Avalon.” Adrian stated as he created a portal made of nether mist and vanished from Limbo.

”Where were you?” Solstice asked as she was carrying the Baby Erebus.

”I had something urgent come up which is why I was gone for a few minutes.” Adrian stated as he could see that Erebus was sleeping soundly under the arms of his sister.

”You are a natural. Keep it up!” Adrian stated as he gave Solstice a thumbs up, but he was caught in the neck before he could make his quick escape.

”I think your explanation just flew past me earlier. Tell me what happened that I could understand.” Solstice stated.

”I also want to understand.” Lycan stated as he suddenly found himself being called father by the Baby Erebus.

”Fine. I will explain.” Adrian stated but he suddenly felt the stares of the others that are inside the guild home.

”Uhm... are all of you not going to do anything else?” Adrian asked as the eyes of the people looked like they were waiting for juicy gossip.

”Please continue, guild leader. We are also curious.” Creepysoo stated as he even pulled out popcorn despite not really needing to eat.

”Start from the top. Start with how the vampires and werewolves came to be.” Solstice stated.

”Oh! I did not sign up for a history lesson, but we have a better storyteller.” Adrian stated as he looked at the Baby Erebus that is pretending to sleep.

”At times like this, the good uncle should let the nephew sleep and be pampered.” The Baby Erebus stated with his cute voice.

”Fine. I cannot ask that much of a baby.” Adrian stated as he started to tell the story of how the vampires and werewolves came to be.

The True Progenitor of the Erebians was none other than Erebus. An Asmodian crafted from a piece of the night which came from a piece of the Goddess of Night herself. He was crafted by the Chaos as a reward for the Goddess of Night for doing her duty. The Goddess of Night is often lonely as the God of Death Abaddon is not always present for her which is why she wanted a grandchild, but her children did not want to procreate. She used the favor that she had with the creator god to ask for a grandchild.

Erebus came from that wish as he was granted life eternal, but he cannot be a god like them since he was created from a small piece of a god. The Goddess of Night loved her grandchild with all her heart until he grew up. Erebus was an Asmodian crafted by the creator god to look over the world but that did not mean they cannot fall in love.

Erebus did not find his soulmate amongst the other Asmodians crafted by the creator god. He found the love from two beings that were the Twin Moon Witches. He often took the form of a normal man during the night to see what it was like to be mortal. The Twin Moon Witches were also believers of the Goddess of Night which made them fond of him. He had the essence of the goddess of night after all, and they felt at peace with his presence.

”Wow! My son is a playboy!” Lycan stated which made Solstice smack his back to make him quiet.

”I will just continue.” Adrian stated.

The Twin Moon witches fell in love with Erebus, but tragedy struck both of them. Twins during that time were either seen as a blessing or a curse. Still, the Twin Moon Witches were able to survive that ordeal by fusing their essences together. They became the Waning Moon Witch that gave birth to two beings which are the ancestor of the vampires and werewolves. One was named Vlad Tepes while the other Lycaon Arcadia.

The birth of the two became the start where the Asmodian Vampire and Asmodian Werewolf line came to be. The Waning Moon Witch also rose to godhood and came to be known as the Goddess Mene, but she died with Erebus in the fight against the invading gods. Still, she was able to protect her children and her children’s children by illuminating the night sky.

”That was so sad but endearing.” Creepysoo stated as he acted like he was wiping tears from his nonexistent tear ducts.

”Did I miss anything?” Adrian asked the Baby Erebus.

”No. Everything was correct.” The Baby Erebus stated.

”If that is the case then we should proceed to the next agenda.” Adrian stated as he took out the two creation relics that he was given.

”Why are you bringing out the relics?” Solstice asked.

”Well, I need Erebus’ help in order to fix them and bring back the Dark Moon. The True Creation Relic of the Erebian Race.” Adrian stated.

”Why should I help the uncle?” Erebus asked.

”I will give you one drop of my blood if you do so.” Adrian stated with a smile which made him look more demonic than he already is.

”Three!” Erebus shouted in response.

”You drive a hard bargain. Two it is.” Adrian stated.

”Deal! Huh? Why did I suddenly accept?!” Erebus stated.

”My brother has quite the tongue for negotiation even if he does not want to admit it. Make sure to not pick up your uncle’s bad habits.” Solstice stated as she was now fully dedicated in her role as a mother upon learning the life of Erebus.

”He will not be able to handle three drops of my blood in his current form. Two should be the maximum or else he might explode.” Adrian stated while chuckling.
