1881  Chapter 1881: Tan Jiao

Seeing that Baba was not at her place. Fu Jinjing and others were relieved and wanted to continue the conversation. They were about to do so, they heard the familiar step foots, they immediately stopped talking and started doing their work.

It was that Baba that they were talking about. She just entered the room. Her eyes were observing the situation in the room. Feeling satisfied, she entered her room and started working. Her real name was Tan Jiao. She was 48 years old this year. She had been working at another company half year old. Her work was very excellent. No mistake had done. However, because one of the board of directors wanted to put his relative on her position, they created a mistake and blame it on Tan Jiao. They immediately fired her without proper investigation. And right after her firing, they already hired someone to fill in her position. It was like they already found her replacement. Her position was assistant director of the accounting department. She would understand if someone who already worked at the department got the promotion but it was a new girl. Fresh graduate. From some investigation, she found out that the new girl was a relative of one of the board of directors. Tan Jiao finally understood everything. They just wanted to fired her to empty the position for that relative.

Of course, Tan Jiao felt angry. She felt unsatisfied by a wrong termination. Because of that, she went and found a lawyer to sue the company. And the lawyer that Tan Jiao seek was Ming Xuehai.

Hearing the case, Ming Xuehai became interested. Tan Jiao was willing to pay a lot to Ming Xuehai. After gathering a lot of evidence, Tan Jiao and Ming Xuehai filed the law suit against Tan Jiaoʼs old company. Tao Jiao managed to win the case. The company was ordered by the court to pay around 2 million Yuan to Tan Jiao. Tan Jiao was happy to get such amount of money. The company refused to take out the money. They asked that board of directors to pay the amount because everything happened because he wanted to put his relative in Tan Jiaoʼs previous position. The board of director had to liquidate his share to pay the amount.

So, he was kicked out by the board of directors. As for his relative, the work arrived on the employeesʼ ears, they began to look at the relative with the judgement stare. She could not stand it. So, she quitted the work by herself. The company offered Tan Jiao to work with them again because after they took a look at Tan Jiaoʼs previous work, they were very good. The reports were very accurate. Not single mistake. So, they would like to have Tan Jiao back to the company.

However, Tan Jiao refused them flat. They offered Tan Jiao a new higher salary from the previous work. Tan Jiaoʼs answer was a big NO. ”No need for that. I refuse to work with your company anymore. What if there is another relative that you want them to work in the company, you would do the same thing. I can not bear losing my work again.” After that speech, the company finally gave up rehiring Tan Jiao. Tan Jiao already got a job lining up for her. How could she refuse the job from Ming Xuehai? Yes, Ming Xuehai was hiring her for the new established Law Firm. She became the Head of the Accounting Department. Because of her fierce attitude in the company, her nickname became Baba. Well, she knew it but she never cared much about that. Fu Jinjing went and knocked on Tan Jiaoʼs door to show her report. ”Hmm... you may enter.” Tan Jiao said.

Fu Jinjing entered the room. ”Miss Tan, can you check this report?” She placed the report on the table. ”Hmm... I will take a look of that later. Oh, before I forget, can you bring this file to Mr Ming? He needs to sign it.” Tan Jiao said and put a file on Fu Jinjingʼs hand.

”Mr Ming?” Fu Jinjing was taken aback.

”Yes, Mr Ming. Our boss.” Tan Jiao said. ”I think he is in his room. I hear he just come back from his outside work.” ”I see. I will go and meet him. Is this file urgent?” Fu Jinjing asked.

”Yes... I want this file back at the end of the day. Make sure to tell Mr Ming about that in case, he want to read the content.” Tan Jiao stated.

”Yes, Miss Tan.” Fu Jinjing nodded.

When she came out of Tan Jiaoʼs room, Fu Jinjing was smiling again. Afraid that people thought weird about her, she adjusted her expression. ”I have to send this file. Ms Tanʼs order,” Fu Jinjing said to her coworkers. ”Be careful on your way.” One of the coworkers said.

Tan Jiao often asked them to send the file to another department. It was anything unusual about this. Fu Jinjing walked to Ming Xuehaiʼs office. She needed a man there. It was Ming Xuehaiʼs assistant. ”Yes, who are you looking for?” The assistant asked.

”I am Fu Jinjing from the accounting department. I am here under Miss Tanʼs order to look for Mr Ming to sign this report.” Fu Jinjing explained the situation. ”I see. Wait a minute. I will inform Mr Ming about this.” The assistant said.

He picked on the intercom and called Ming Xuehai. He told the situation to Ming Xuehai.
