Chapter 1610 1610: Check The CCTV

Yu Qi felt the outside was dark again. She was inside the car trunk. Her legs and hands were not tied up. It made things easy for Yu Qi.

She touched her watch. Her watch glows in the dark.  .𝚌/o/𝕞

”Neko-chan, Neko-chan are you hear me? If you hear me, please respond in a low voice.” Yu Qi whispered to her watch.

Right after that, a voice answered Yu Qiʼs call. It was Neko-chan.

”Master, Master... You use the watch. Are you in danger right now?” Neko-chan asked.

Yu Qiʼs watch was kind of special. It looked like a normal watch that had a number and its needle. However, it was a smartwatch that could call people and also acted like a GPS. It would detect the personʼs location when the person wore it.

”Hmm... You can call Brother Hui and tell him about the my location. You also need to tell Brother Hui to calm down. Do not panic and follow as we plan. Also, tell him that I am safe right now.” Yu Qi gave Neko-chan the order.

Even though Yu Qi already sent Shino to Long Huiʼs side, they still needed to think about the bodyguards who followed Yu Qi and Long Hui.

They could not tell about Shino to them. They needed to trick them into thinking that Long Hui knew Yu Qiʼs location because of the watch that Yu Qi wore right now.

”Okay, Master. I will contact Masterʼs fiancee right now.” Neko-chan stated.

”Tell him to use this to trick the bodyguards.” Yu Qi was feeling bad lying to them but she did not have any choice.

”Alright... Contacting Masterʼs fiancee...Master, your fiance did not answer my call.” Neko-chan reported.

”Hmm... Oh, wait a minute.” Yu Qi said to Neko-chan.

Yu Qi remembered that Shino was purposely at Long Huiʼs side. She wondered if Shino could already find him.

ʼShino... Shino... Are you there?ʼ Yu Qi contacted Shino via telepathy.

ʼYes, Master.ʼ Shino said.

ʼHave you found Brother Hui?ʼ Yu Qi asked again.

ʼYes, I already made contact with Masterʼs fiancee.ʼ Shino answered.

ʼGreat. Tell him to answer his phone.ʼ Yu Qi stated. She then returned to Neko-chan. ”Neko-chan, you can call him right now.”

Yu Qi felt the car had stopped. She needed to stop talking.

”I will call you later. Until then, donʼt contact me.” Yu Qi said.

The glow on her watch disappeared and she closed her eyes back. She could hear the trunk being opened.

...

”Master tells me to tell you that you to pick up the call.” Shino conveyed what Yu Qi wanted to say to Long Hui.

Right after the sentence, the phone call was ringing. Long Hui immediately answered the call.

”Qi Qi?” Long Hui thought it was his beloved Qi Qi.

”I am not Master. I am Neko-chan, Masterʼs loyal and cute pet.” Neko-chan had time to praise herself.

”Is she okay?” That was what Long Hui wanted to know.

”Hmm... She is fine. She has something to tell you.” Neko-chan stated.

”Tell me.” Long Hui said.

Neko-chan told them what her plan was. Long Hui frowned as he heard the plan. She made herself bait to find out who they truly were.

It was indeed a great plan. Long Hui did not like it because he was concerned about Yu Qiʼs safety. But he knew that he could not change her decision. He just needed to follow her plan and got her out of danger.

Long Hui stood up and looked at his watch. The medical conference should be continued after the lunch break. He went to the hall acting like he was waiting for Yu Qi to come out even though he already knew that Yu Qi was not there.

Long Hui could sense that someone was watching him. He even changed his expression to worried when he could not find Yu Qi.

He stopped one of the attendees and asked about Yu Qi. The attendee shook his head telling Long Hui that he did not know about that.

One of the bodyguards approached Long Hui and whispered something. As he reported something to Long Hui, he could feel the cold aura right now.

”Call the hotel management. I want to see the security camera Rigg now.” Long Hui shouted.

Not long after that, the manager of the hotel rushed over to Long Huiʼs side.

”Customer, what do you want to do?” The manager said.

”I want to check the CCTV in that hall.” Long Hui pointed to the hall the medical conference was held.

”This way, Mr...” The manager glanced at Long Hui.

”Mr Long.” Long Hui said.

”Yes, Mr Long. Follow me.” The manager said.

He leads Long Hui to the security room. The manager told the staff inside the room to check the CCTV in the hall.

”Look for this woman.” Long Hui showed Yu Qiʼs picture.

It was easy to spot Yu Qi due to her beauty. They saw two men approached Yu Qi and had a talk with her. One of them left leaving Yu Qi with another man. They also saw her go to the restroom before following the man and a new middle-aged man entering the room.

”Is there any CCTV in that room?” Long Hui asked.

The security staff answered after the manager was eyeing him to answer the question. ”Yes, but it had been reported broke this morning. We are still waiting for the technician to repair it.”
