Chapter 1232: The Ancestor Came

At the top of the mountain lay one normal-looking grave. It only had a stone mark with ʼYueʼ name carved on the stone.

Then, a man with a purple robe came running toward the grave. When he arrived in front of the grave, he fell on his knee. His lips trembled as he watched the name on the stone.

”No... It canʼt be... No... It is a lie.” The purple robe man mumbled.

His eyes were shaking. Not long after that, the tear flew down his eyes. It was a silent cry. He kept watching the name.

It was his fault. He should not leave her. He should stay by her side. Otherwise, this would not happen to her.

He kneeled in front of the grave for a long time. He already lost his will to stay alive. The world was nothing without her. He felt she must be lonely here. So, he wanted to accompany her.

The time passed. The purple robe man was still in front of the grave. Another man came. He was wearing a white robe.

”You should go come. She does not want you to be like this.” The white robe man said.

The purple robe man looked at the white robe man. ”I am sorry.”

The white robe man sighed. ”It is not only your fault. It is our fault too. We donʼt manage to protect her.”

The purple robe man was silent.

”The people who were involved in her death already died. You should continue your life.” The white robe man advised.

”I donʼt want to live anymore. I am waiting for my death.” The purple robe man said.

”You... ” The white robe man did not know what to do say.

”Please bury my body next to her.” The purple robe man requested.

”No. I donʼt want to disturb my sisterʼs afterlife.” The white robe man declined.

However, the purple robe man did not answer him anymore and kept staring at the craved name on the stone.

The white robe man waved his sleeve and left the place.

Two hundred years passed. The white robe man decided to visit the grave again. He was shocked to see the purple robe man was still there. However, only his body was there. He was dead.

The white robe man sighed. Remembering the request from the purple robe man, he buried the purple robe manʼs body beside the grave.

After finishing everything, the white robe man stared at the graves. He sighed.

”I hope both of you are happy over there.”

He left the place after that. He even sealed the place. So that, people would not find this place and disturbed the graves.

.....

Long Hui woke up from his sleep. He breathed hard. He felt his face was wet. When he wiped his face, he knew that it was his tear. He was crying.

He was confused. He did not know why was he crying in his sleep.

Yu Qi who slept beside him woke up, rubbing her eye while looking at Long Hui.

”What happens?” She asked Long Hui with sleepy eyes.

”Nothing... you can sleep.” Long Hui laid down again and hugged Yu Qi.

Feeling comfortable, Yu Qi immediately slept. Long Hui was still not sleeping. He was thinking about what just happened. He was crying in his sleep.

When he wanted to recall what he dreamed before he woke up, he could not remember that. But the terrible feeling from the dream, he could still feel it.

He could feel the movement from Yu Qi. Yu Qi tightened her hug on him making him smile. Since he did not know the reason why he cried in his sleep, he would just forget about that.

When he thought that, naturally, he went to slumber again.

....

”I canʼt wait to see the ancestor.” Dian Qi Qi said.

They already finished breakfast and headed to the venue. As mentioned yesterday, the ancestor would be coming. The venue was already packed with people.

Since the martial art competition already entered the final round, a lot of people came to see the final round. It was more lively than the previous days. People were also talking about the ancestor.

Then, the MC asked people to keep quiet. A man with a white robe man wearing a silver mask entered the venue with the elders.

He walked beautifully like an angel. He stopped for a moment, taking a look at the people around before stopping the Dian Familyʼs canopy. His eyes narrowed for a moment before returning to normal.

He then continues to walk to the seat which was prepared for him. He took a seat. The elders also sat.

”I want to see the participants for the final round. Can you step up on the stage?” The ancestor said.

The ancestor was speaking in a normal voice but everyone could hear that because people were silent.

The MC asked the participants for the final round to come forward to the stage. So, they went up.

Huo Jinxi was quite nervous. So, she misstep and was about to fall before Yu Qi grabbed her hand.

”Tha... Thank you.” Huo Jinxi thanked Yu Qi.

”Be careful.” Yu Qi said.

”Hmm..” Huo Jinxi nodded. She was actually nervous.

The ancestor looked at them. ”We have some good seed this year too.”

His eyes were scanning one by one the faces, before stopping at Yu Qi. Yu Qi also knew that the ancestor was looking at her.
