After a few minutes, she arrived at her part-time job. A small restaurant. She remembered in her past life, after 2 years leaving this town, this restaurant went down because of the decreasing of their customers.

”Yu Qi, what are you doing here? This restaurant has not opened yet.” Yu Qi had been greeted by someone.

”Yu Qi, drink this.” Madam Sheng gave a mug containing hot chocolate. Yu Qi took a mug and had a slip of it.

”Tell me whatʼs happened to you.” Madam Sheng gave a warm look like a mother would gave to her child.

”Boss, can I live at your house for a while?” She begged her boss.

”I have no problem about it but your family would be worried about it.”

”How did you knew that?” Madam Sheng asked.

”Last night, I heard them talking about it. She said, ʼWe have to wait for another 4 years until we can cut off her from our family. Itʼs for our safety.ʼ No wonder, they never gave me the familyʼs love. No wonder, they treat me like a slave.” She bites her lips.

Madam Sheng took pity for her. ”Then you can stay here. We do have an empty room right now. Itʼs my daughterʼs room. Right now, she is outside the town.”

”Really boss? Thank you, boss. I will look for another room later.” Yu Qi felt happy. She told her the truth but a little bit lie.

”Go, rest now. Take your time off today.” Madam Sheng ordered.

”Yes boss.”
