Reincarnated as an Energy with a System

Chapter 632: Drakeʼs Battle

Taron looked at Drake, but the smirk was no longer on his face. Now that his face was hidden with his metal helmet, he showed his true face.

Worry.

”Wendy, how is he healing?” he asked.

”These goddamn aliens and their powers,” Taron said softly. ”Any idea how to beat him?”

”I guess that is the only way,” Taron said. He then put up his arm to shoot his blaster, and suddenly a crosshair appeared in his vision.

As his hands moved, the crosshair moved along as well. When it landed on Drake, he fired.

Drake was ready for the shot, so he simply moved away. He wasnʼt as fast as the blaster shot itself, but he was faster than Taron himself.

So, if he knew when Taron was going to attack, he could dodge it in time.

He flew through the air and arrived next to Taron to punch him again, but the metals on his suit kept flying out to protect him.

Drake tried to punch the part of his face that wasnʼt protected right now, and another bunch of metals flew out from somewhere else and protected him again.

Drake moved his leg to kick where the metal was missing and once more, the metals moved around to protect him.

At the same time, Taron pointed his blaster towards Drake and shot again. The blaster tore open the side of his stomach, making him flinch and run away.

Another shot of blaster came and hit Drake right in the chest this time. Even as the two wounds healed, another shot came and hit his leg.

Drake stumbled onto the ground, leaving Ning and the others in the crowd to gasp a little.

”Is he going to be alright?” Nova asked.

”I… I donʼt know. I think he can heal from most wounds but… he shouldnʼt have enough energy to keep that up for a long time,” Ning said.

He remembered the long gash wound on his left arm of Drake. Despite being a vampire, or as he called himself a lifestealer, he still was wounded. Which meant he never had enough energy on his planet for healing himself.

He had only killed a few people after coming here and Ning thought that might not be enough for him to heal himself. At least, not more than a couple of times.

If Drake really wanted to win all of this, he needed to learn how to fight without taking damage.

Another blaster shot came towards Drake, but he managed to turn into a bat before flying away. He tried attacking Taron while he was a bat, but that obviously didnʼt work at all.

”Track him!” Taron said as the bat flew around him in supersonic. However, that was nothing new. Taron was used to fighting guys that flew at supersonic speed.

Only, they were never this small.

As Wendy, his suitʼs AI helped him keep track of Drake, Drake flew circles around Taron, thinking of a way to beat him while he was healing.

He could think of a few ways but that required Taron to not have any other powers that the one he already showed.

Just as he was thinking that two openings popped out of Taronʼs shoulders and small missiles appeared on them.

He shot out the missiles and they followed Drake even as a bat. Drake quickly flew away, but the missiles were guided towards him.

He flew and flew, but he couldnʼt get rid of them. ”Screw this, if you think this will hurt me, then letʼs see how much it will hurt you,” Drake thought to himself and started flying toward Taron.

His plan was simple. He would force the missiles to hit Taron by flying around him.

However, Taron seemed to realize what he was planning as suddenly thrusters started firing from the side of his calves as he flew into the sky.

With a sonic boom, he flew towards Drake.

With missiles behind him, and an entire human in front of him, Drake was in trouble and he needed to do something.

As an idea came to his head, he quickly changed back from his bat form to his human form.

Then, he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and opened them back up.

Suddenly, his dull black eyes shined with blood-red color that sent waves of energy directly onto Taron.

Taron, who saw those eyes suddenly fell into a trance and slowed down.

At the last second, Drake managed to dodge the missile and fly up.

At the same time, the missiles struck Taron and exploded with so much power that it made Drake wonder how such little things even packed it.

The explosion was enough to jolt Taron back awake from his trance and he looked around in shock.

Suddenly, he felt cold air on the side of his chest. He looked down to see that a portion of his armor was missing.

”Wendy? Whereʼs the rest of my suit?” he asked.

”No, that will only drop the integrity of the suit,” Taron said, but he realized that he couldnʼt leave his chest vulnerable.

”How long will it take to create enough nanomachines to fill my chest?” he asked.

”Use the ones from my butt for now and cover up my chest quickly,” he said as he stared up at Drake with a face of confusion.

”What happened to me? I canʼt remember?” he said.

However, before Wendy could answer him, Drakeʼs eyes glowed red, and suddenly, Taron was hypnotized once more.

Drakeʼs lips twisted into a smile as he gave a single order.

”Kill yourself.”
