Global Evolution: I Create Items in the Apocalypse and Become a God

Chapter 2: Life-extending Compressed BiscuitsChapter 2: Life-extending Compressed Biscuits

”What the hell?”

Chu Anqin thought he was dizzy from hunger and was hallucinating. He rubbed his eyes, but the strange panel still existed.

”Is it the standard gold finger for time travelers?”

He has read quite a few novels, so he naturally knows this.

Chu Anqin looked at the bread crumbs between his fingers again, and a look of hesitation flashed across his face. He couldn’t be so rash as to eat this moldy and spotted thing.

”Take a look at this panel first.”

He put the bread crumbs down, suppressed his hunger, and stared at the panel carefully.

“It looks like a crafting system, with three crafting options and two unlocking conditions.”

Chu Anqin’s eyes moved to the first item, and the moment he saw the content, he was furious.

”The first item, the compressed biscuits are way off the mark. Five units of food, let’s not talk about how much it is, but why don’t I just eat the food instead of making this nutritious thing?”

He moved his attention to the second item. Sports drinks also require food.

”Food again, I don’t have any food...”

There is water, as it is raining heavily outside, but there is no food. I am almost starving to death, so where can I get it?

Chu Anqin grabbed the moldy bread beside him angrily and sneered, ”If we really want to talk about food, does the moldy bread count?”

But just as I grabbed it, a [Make] button appeared behind the first item on the panel, ”Compressed Biscuits”.

”Ah, this. Spoiled food with mold is also considered food?”

”That’s right, even if it’s moldy and spoiled, food is still food!”

He focused his mind on [Make] and chose to make compressed biscuits.

Chu Anqin only saw half of the bread in his hand disappear out of thin air, and even the other half on the sofa also disappeared for the most part. It seemed like there was something in the palm of his hand.

When I raised my hand, I saw a square, light yellow biscuit in the palm of my hand, about the size of a mineral water bottle cap.

”This is the compressed biscuit made from moldy bread?”

What a magical panel, it can actually make things!

Chu Anqin curiously picked up the remaining piece of bread and put it back.

Although bread cannot be eaten if it is moldy, does it mean that it can be eaten if it is made into compressed biscuits using a panel?

”How about trying a bite?”

He brought the compressed biscuit to his nose and smelled it, but he couldn’t smell anything, not even the fishy smell of the mold on the bread.

Looking at the front and back of the biscuits, there is only light yellow color, without any black mold spots.

Chu Anqin checked it over and over again. This compressed biscuit was more competitive in appearance and smell than the bread with black spots and mold.

The saliva in his mouth had already secreted all over the gaps between his teeth. The temptation of this compressed biscuit was fatal.

He decided to eat the bread that was covered in mold, let alone this cookie that didn’t look poisonous.

creak creak
Chu Anqin couldn’t bear it any longer, and hurriedly stuffed it into his mouth as if he had snatched it away, chewing it happily.

Unfortunately, the compressed biscuits were too small and tasted tasteless in his mouth. He just chewed them a few times, and swallowed them unconsciously with his throat moving, as if he had never eaten them.

The worst thing was that Chu Anqin felt that this biscuit not only did not satisfy his stomach, but instead stimulated his cerebral cortex, making him even hungrier.

”Make, Make”

He licked the biscuit crumbs left on his palm, looked at the remaining half piece of bread with green eyes, and locked his mind on option one.

However, no matter how hard he grabbed the bread, there was no [Make] button behind the compressed biscuits option, and it was obvious that the materials were less than 5 units.

Wow.
Chu Anqin moved his gaze to the second item, and then looked at the heavy rain outside, and suddenly it seemed as if he had grasped something.

He jumped up directly from the sofa. Although a piece of compressed biscuit did not eliminate his hunger, it provided some energy.

He picked up an empty beverage bottle on the ground, ran to the balcony, opened the bottle cap, and stuck the bottle mouth upwards out of the security window. The rain flowed down the iron frame and poured into the bottle mouth, soon filling the bottle.

He originally wanted to use a basin to collect the water, but due to the limitations of the anti-theft window, the gap was only big enough for a beverage bottle.

After taking a bottle of water, he returned to the sofa, picked up the only remaining half piece of moldy bread, and focused his attention on the second item: sports drink.

”Have it!”

Behind the sports drink item, there is a [Make] button.

“Make it!”

Chu Anqin blinked, his left hand felt empty, and the drink bottle in his right hand instantly became very light. The next moment, it immediately became heavy again.

There was about half a bottle of bubbling drink in the drink bottle.

He sniffed the bottle. There was no musty smell. It smelled like Lei Bi, but it was mixed with a lot of water.

Chu Anqin’s saliva began to flow wildly again, and he picked up the drink bottle.

Gululu.
The bottle of sports drink was decreasing at a speed visible to the naked eye, until the last drop fell into his mouth after he shook it a few times.

Comfortable!

My stomach finally felt a little satisfied.

Chu Anqin felt that not only was he alive, but he could also get up and go to work.
Oh yes, this is the end of the world, no need to go to work.

He threw the bottle aside and looked at the virtual panel again. His mind became much clearer after replenishing some energy.

“This thing won’t keep appearing, right?”

The panel somewhat blocks my vision. If it remains visible, wouldn’t it be like looking at people through tinted glasses?

”Also, other people can’t see this panel, right?”

He stood up and felt much better from his weakness. It seemed that the compressed biscuits and sports drinks had begun to transform into energy for the body.

I walked to the bathroom and looked in front of the mirror.

As it was a rainy day, the sky was a little cloudy, and there was a power outage and no lighting, so the bathroom was a little dim.

Chu Anqin could roughly see the face and figure. He was a little thin, neither handsome nor ugly. He must be hungry.

Besides, a man’s charm does not lie in his appearance. An interesting soul and strong strength are the key to success.

”Don’t worry buddy, I’ll make it up to you.”

The appearance of the panel gave Chu Anqin some confidence to survive.

The food ingredients needed to make compressed biscuits and sports drinks are not edible clean food, spoiled or moldy food can also be used.

After the apocalypse, supplies were in short supply, especially food and drinking water.

Water is okay, we can still wait for God to give it to us, but food is so scarce that it is more precious than gold.

More than half a year has passed since the virus broke out and animals around the world mutated and went crazy attacking living things.

No matter who you are, whether you are powerful or influential, or an ordinary person, all beings are equal.

Everything happened so suddenly that the original owner’s family didn’t have much food stored, which was also the situation of most families. After such a long period of isolation, they had already eaten everything they could eat.

As he remembered, the original owner had tried to go out to find food, but he almost lost his life that time. The survivors outside had already killed each other for food.

There are no legal constraints and no moral condemnation. Everyone has the right to live, and there is no right or wrong.

Chu Anqin regained his composure. He sympathized with the original owner’s experience, but now that he had taken the blame, the rest of the road would not be much easier than the original owner’s.

With this panel, when he goes out to look for supplies, he can collect any spoiled or moldy items.

Looking at the panel, ”This is the panel”

He concentrated and the control panel disappeared.

”receive!”

This time, the panel was very refreshing, and it really disappeared as his consciousness changed.

”put!”

The panel reappeared.

”That way you don’t have to worry about the panel blocking your view.”

Chu Anqin was in a playful mood, but after trying a few times, his interest gradually faded.

The feeling of hunger was creeping up on him, and he felt his stomach acting up again.

Focus on the third item:

[3. Professional prying tool, can be used to pry open doors, windows and safes. It can also be used as a weapon with good power. Production materials: 10 units of metal]

”Metal. It doesn’t say gold, silver, copper or iron. Maybe any of them will do.”

He found some metal tools and gathered ten units of metal. He focused his mind on the third item and the [Production] button appeared.

“Make it!”
