Chapter 18 Flood Dragon EggChapter 18 Flood Dragon Egg

”Uh... this...” Matsumoto Yoji began to hesitate.

”This respected invincible god of war, isn’t it natural for warriors to deal with monsters? I think... we don’t need to explain to anyone.” Phyllis said suddenly.

”Haha... is it natural for you to be chased and beaten by the cloud-patterned golden thread dragon, and then kill countless warriors in China?” Cody asked with a sneer.

”Well... we didn’t expect that this cloud-patterned golden thread dragon would be so difficult to deal with, and when dealing with monsters, no one can guarantee success.” Phyllis continued to quibble.

”When you come to China to hunt monsters, you must abide by our Chinese rules. If you don’t follow our rules, you must report in advance. In the end, it triggers a tide of beasts and kills a large number of warriors. You deserve to die!” As he said this, Cody’s eyes flashed coldly.

brush!
”Pfft!”

A sudden advance came directly in front of Felice, the Wind Shadow Sword passed by, and the big head flew up directly.

”This... is too fast. I can’t even see clearly. Is he really just a god of war?” Matsumoto Yoji and Pavel were completely stunned.

”Okay, the tough talk has been resolved. Now...aren’t you going to tell the truth?” Cody turned his head and looked at the two of them with a smile.

”Sir, this... this really has nothing to do with us. We were just hired by Phyllis.” Matsumoto Yoji was so frightened that he hurriedly explained.

Anyway, Phyllis is dead, so of course everything is blamed on him. He can’t refute it anyway, and among the three of them, he is the only high-ranking God of War, so it is completely credible to say that he is the mastermind.

”Tell me why you provoked the Cloud Pattern Golden Thread Jiao.” Cody said calmly.

It didn’t matter to him who was the mastermind and who was the accomplice. They all deserved to die anyway. He was just curious about why these little trash dared to provoke the moiré golden thread dragon.

”Sir, it’s like this. Phyllis learned from a certain channel that this cloud-patterned golden thread dragon had just laid a dragon egg recently. He thought that this evil dragon’s combat power was greatly damaged, so he found it in the God of War Palace. He hired Bavel and I to help him deal with the Cloud Pattern Golden Thread Jiao.”

”We thought at the time that it was not our duty as God of War powerhouses to deal with monsters. Since we had this opportunity to kill that evil dragon, of course we couldn’t let it go.”

”As for what you said about not reporting in advance, we both really didn’t know about it. We thought Phyllis had already reported it to China before.”

What Matsumoto Yo said was a complete shirk of his own responsibilities, but it was a pity that Cody didn’t believe him.

”Since the combat power of the Cloud Pattern Golden Thread Jiao has been greatly reduced, why can’t the three of you defeat it together? And you are still being hunted all over the city.” Cody continued to ask.

”Alas! Don’t mention it. The information Phyllis received was wrong. This cloud-patterned golden thread dragon laid eggs more than three months ago. After such a long time, its damaged strength has long been restored. ”Speaking of this, Matsumoto Yoji was obviously very angry.

”Have you got the dragon egg?” Cody asked curiously.

”This moiré-patterned golden-threaded dragon has a total of three eggs. We got one, and the other two were destroyed by Phyllis, so this moiré-patterned golden-threaded dragon keeps chasing us.” Matsumoto Yoji He sighed again and said.

He actually lied here again. He had destroyed the two dragon eggs, but he was worried that Cody would be angry with him, so he pushed the matter to Felice. After all, the cloud-patterned golden thread dragon had been destroyed. Cody killed him, and those two eggs were Cody’s property.

”Where are the eggs?” Cody asked.

”Here, in Phyllis’s backpack.” Matsumoto Yoji said as he took off the backpack from Phyllis’ body and handed it to Cody respectfully.Cody took the backpack and scanned it with his mental power. Then he opened the backpack and took out a white egg. The egg was not very big, less than one meter high.

Putting the egg back into his backpack, Cody stood up and looked thoughtfully at the location of the nest of the cloud-patterned golden thread dragon.

”Sir, can we both leave?” Yoji Matsumoto asked cautiously when he saw that Cody stopped talking.

”Okay.” Cody nodded.

However, before the two of them could be happy, Cody’s voice came again, ”I’ll send you on your way!”

Their faces changed wildly, and they wanted to escape. However, with their speed, how could they escape from Coty’s hands.

puff!puff!
The two swords were stabbed out easily, and the two of them slowly fell down holding their own necks.

He leaned over and took off the backpacks on their backs, took out the more valuable monster materials inside, and put them into Felice’s backpack together with the weapons of the three people. Then he picked up the backpack and jumped into the sky with his shield on his feet.

A few minutes later, inside the lair of the moiré golden thread dragon.

”Tsk, tsk... it is indeed more convenient to use the mentalist’s method to clean up the mobs.” Cody looked at the several SS-class flying knives flying around him and nodded with satisfaction.

These six SS-class flying knives were what he had just obtained from Felice and others. The weapons used by the three of them were not swords, and he did not want to use them, but these flying knives happened to be the weapons of his spiritual master.

After cleaning up all the dozens of beast-general-level monsters staying in the lair, Cody leisurely began to search the area.

”found it.”

Facts have proved that mental power is not only convenient for cleaning up mobs, but also very useful for finding things.

Coming to a corner, Cody saw that there were many alloy products on the empty ground, including various weapons, alloy combat boots, combat uniforms, etc.

Being able to be collected as trophies by the cloud-patterned golden thread dragon, the quality of these things is obviously very good.

Cody didn’t need combat boots or combat uniforms, and it was impossible to wear the clothes taken off these dead people. He didn’t take off the combat uniforms and combat boots from the three gods of war he just killed.

But the weapons can still be used. Among a lot of alloy weapons, Cody found an S-level Wind Shadow Sword and more than 20 SS-level flying knives as he wished.

”Including the original six, there are 34 in total, haha... Now my spiritual master’s weapons are almost complete.” A smile appeared on Cody’s face.

I don’t know why, but the amplitude of his mental power has been stuck at 33, which means he can only perfectly control 33 flying knives to reach their maximum power.

Now I have 34 SS-level flying knives, and I can still get one more.

Although this so-called SS-level flying knife is actually just like that, it cannot be regarded as a real spiritual weapon, but Cody is still on the earth now. This flying knife is basically enough. If it doesn’t work, you can still use it in the future. Hong’s Escape Sky Shuttle was obtained.
