I Summoned the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in Full-Time Magister

Chapter 79 Forest of the DeadChapter 79 Forest of the Dead

The Rocky Mountains are shrouded in light fog.

There were obviously no clouds in the sky, and the sun was shining brightly, but it could not penetrate this layer of mist, making the interior of the forest dark and cold, and filled with a strange atmosphere.

To go to the Rocky Mountains, Moan and the others still need to pass through the forest in front of them. I heard that this forest is called the Forest of the Dead by the locals.

Mo An also had the idea of riding [Blue Eyes White Dragon] and fly directly through the forest at first.

But before leaving, the housekeeper reminded him that there was once a top mage who wanted to fly through this forest in order to rush on his way. As a result, he still does not know whether he is alive or dead.

Helpless, Mo An could only walk through the forest on foot.

Just on the periphery, the trees here are tens of meters high, and standing among them is as small as an ant.

The feet were covered with moist, soft soil and layers of fallen leaves, and the smell of decay assaulted his nostrils.

Sporadic light shines on the ground through the gaps in the leaves, forming mottled light and shadow.

Mo An looked at everything here. Just by looking at it, he felt that this place was no different from an ordinary forest.

But it is such an ordinary place that scares so many people. This is worth pondering.

Mo An and An Yi moved toward the depths together, but the further they advanced, the more ordinary Mo An felt this place became.

It’s not even as dangerous as Anjie outside the city. At least you can encounter some monsters outside Anjie.

Here, not only did Mo An not encounter monsters, but all he saw were ordinary small animals.

Until Mo An and the two came to an area with taller trees, there was less light that could penetrate the leaves, and the surrounding fog was thicker.

Although there were still no living creatures around them, they felt like they were being watched.

It seems like something is spying on their every move, which is creepy...

Time passed and Mo An looked at his mechanical watch. It was already noon.

So he walked towards an open space in front of him where the sun was just shining, planning to take a rest.

The two of them walked to this open space, and the moment the sun shone on them, they felt as if they were freed from the cold prying eyes.

However, just when Mo An put down his backpack and planned to take out food and water.

An Yi tugged on Mo An’s clothes and pointed to a place outside the sun.

A human skeleton, with some weeds wrapped around it. The skeleton was lying on its back, but its hand was desperately stretching towards the open space.

Mo An stood up and looked towards the darkness behind the skeleton. Wherever Mo An looked in the darkness, there were many skeletons lying on the ground like this one, heading towards here.

An Yi was watching this impressive scene beside Mo An and couldn’t help but hug Mo An’s arm tightly.

Mo An looked at this scene with some doubts in his heart.

How were these people killed? Why are you all coming here?
In the end, Mo An thought of Peeping, who had disappeared under the sun, but there was no clue so far. He could only shake his head. Soldiers would come to block him, and water would come to cover him.

After eating and taking a brief rest, the two stepped out of the open space again. Sure enough, the moment they stepped out, they felt the looming peek again.

Mo An held An Yi’s hand, while An Yi held the [chestnut ball] in one hand, with the [winged chestnut ball] flying behind her.

After Mo An saw those skeletons, his vigilance was raised to the highest level. He did not want to follow in the footsteps of those skeletons.

As the two of them continued to go deeper, Moan found that the magical elements around him became more and more dense, and there was a force affecting his perception.

As for discovering that perception was affected, it was all thanks to An Yi, who pointed out Mo An’s mistake when Mo An deviated from the target direction.I don’t know if it’s due to the [Time Magician], but An Yi was not affected.

Next, under An Yi’s guidance, the two continued to move forward.

In the afternoon, the light gradually weakened as time went by, and the forest became darker and darker.

I don’t know if it was because of the light, or because Mo An and the others were getting deeper and deeper, but Mo An and the others felt more and more eyes focused on them.

Finally, before the sunlight completely disappeared, Mo An and the two came to a small circular pool in the center of the forest.

Why do I say it is one, because there are more than a dozen pools around it, and each one looks about the same size.

The sky here is not shaded by trees, and the sky can be seen.

Mo An didn’t use the water in the pool, or even get too close to the pool. He found a tree and lit a campfire.

For some unknown reason, the fire did not illuminate the surrounding area.

And no matter how much firewood was added, it could only barely illuminate the area around Mo An and the two of them.

An Yi was nestling in Mo An’s arms, looking at the campfire, and said to Mo An.

”Am I burdening you? I am an ordinary person and I can’t help you at all.”

”You still have to care about my safety all the time, so maybe I shouldn’t come with you.”

When Mo An heard An Yi say such words, he did not interrupt her, but waited for her to finish speaking.

”You will never be a burden to me. You just need to be by my side, and I already feel like I can do anything.”

”So... there is no need to apologize, and I don’t want you to wait for me again.”

While the two were talking, the sky had completely darkened.

A bright moon hangs in the sky, not a single star shines in the cloudless sky, and the pure white moonlight falls, slightly illuminating the surrounding scene.

Each small pool reflected the bright moon in the sky, and the cold color painted the entire forest.

Suddenly, a group of gray-white mist rushed out from the darkness. The mist condensed but did not disperse, floating freely above it.

But Mo An felt that the mist was alive and seemed to be approaching them.

Although it was floating left and right without any direction, the distance between the two of them was getting closer and closer to Mo An.

Mo An was always watching this strange mist, and saw that after it rolled again, the mist accelerated, heading straight towards Mo An and the two of them.

Due to the speed of the fog, the entire fog was stretched, and at the front of the fog, a blurry face loomed.

Mo An’s eyes flashed with silvery white light, and invisible force attacked the mist.

The mist rushing towards Mo An and the two men was immediately dispersed, but it had no effect. The mist condensed again the next second.

This time Mo An saw it more clearly. After the mist reorganized, the blurry face looked at Mo An, seeming to laugh at Mo An’s useless move.

Mo An’s head trembled, and he summoned the magic tube in the face of the ghost mist attacking again.

The card stood in front of him, just blocking the collision of Ghost Mist, and the next second, a strange collision force was rebounded.

After hitting the ghost mist, the ghost mist disintegrated directly as if it had been hit hard. The mist no longer gathered and slowly dissipated in the air.
