I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

“A separate world,” she repeated slowly, as if testing the words. “You mean… Mother and the others are there right now? In this world you created? Living in castles you built for them?”

“Yes,” Julian confirmed. “Right now, as we sit here, they’re there. Living their lives in a realm where I am the creator, the god, the absolute authority.”

Eva stared at him, her eyes wide with disbelief. “And they’ve been there for… how long did you say?”

“Three hundred and seventy-two years by their time,” Julian repeated. “Though only three months have passed here.”

“Three hundred…” Eva couldn’t finish the sentence. She stood abruptly and began pacing, her gown swishing around her legs as she moved. “Mother has been living in your world for three hundred years? She’s… she’s ancient then? Old?”

“No,” Julian said. “Cultivation extends lifespan dramatically. At her level of power, she could live for thousands of years without aging. She looks exactly as she did when I took her.”

Eva turned to stare at him. “Her level of power? What does that even mean?”

“Mother was a Arch Mage,” Julian explained. “One of the highest levels of cultivation in normal mortal realms. In my world, she has continued cultivating and continued growing stronger. She’s one of the most powerful beings there, second only to our daughters who have reached Demi-God realm.”

Eva’s hand flew to her mouth. “Demi-God? You mean those three women you brought—Seraphine, Lyanna, Cassandra—they’re actually gods?”

“Demi-Gods,” Julian corrected. “A step below true divinity, but yes, functionally they’re goddesses. Beings of immense power who could level this entire world with a thought if they chose to.”

Eva’s legs seemed to give out, and she collapsed back onto the bench, staring at Julian with an expression of complete overwhelm.

“This is insane,” she whispered. “Completely, utterly insane. Are you speaking truth?”

“Yes,” Julian said simply.

Eva was quiet for a long moment.

“Does Father know?” she asked finally. “Does he know that his wife is actually your wife? That his mother is your wife? That his son has created a world and become a god?”

“No,” Julian replied. “He knows nothing. Only you know the truth.”

Eva’s expression became conflicted. “I should tell him. He deserves to know where Mother is, that she’s alive—”

“No, Eva,” Julian stopped her.

She looked at him with confusion and growing concern.

Julian took a breath, knowing what he was about to say would hurt her, would change how she saw everything.

“They are no longer who you think they are,” he said quietly. “Mother, Grandmother—they’ve already forgotten their past lives. To them and all of my women, I am their only support. Their only family.”

He met her eyes steadily, making sure she understood the full weight of his words.

“So no, Regina is no longer our father’s wife. She is my wife. And along with her, Eleanor, Gregoria, and all the others. They belong to me now, completely.”

Eva was dumbfounded, her mouth opening and closing without sound, her eyes wide with shock.

“But… but what about Father?” she finally managed, her voice barely above a whisper. “You just let him suffer? Let him mourn his wife, his mother, without knowing they’re alive? That’s cruel, Julian. That’s—”

Julian reached for her face and cupped her cheeks gently.

“Don’t worry,” he said softly, his blue eyes locked on hers with an intensity that made her breath catch. “I’ll figure something out. I always do.”

His expression carried both confidence and affection, the look he used to give her when making promises he intended to keep.

“I won’t let Father suffer forever,” Julian continued, his voice low and soothing. “But right now, bringing mother and the others back would create complications I’m not prepared to handle.”

His hands remained on her face, holding her gently but firmly, keeping her focused on him.

“Trust me, Eva. Please. Trust that I’m handling this the best way I can.”

Eva stared up at him, really looking at her brother. Her mind was racing but at the same time blank.

Julian’s hands slowly moved from her cheeks, one sliding down to cup the back of her neck while the other traced down to her chin. His thumb found her lips and he caressed them gently.

Their eyes locked.

The air between them became charged.

Eva’s breathing became shallow, her lips parting slightly under his touch. Her eyes were wide, glistening with unshed tears, but also darkening with something else—desire, need, longing.

Julian leaned closer, his face mere inches from hers.

“I am sorry,” he whispered, his voice rough with emotion. “For leaving you all alone. For being gone while you carried everything.”

His thumb continued its gentle exploration of her lips, his other hand tightening slightly on the back of her neck.

“I’m sorry, Eva.”

That seemed to break something inside her.

“You…” her voice cracked, a single tear spilling from her eye and rolling down her cheek. “You could have taken me as well.”

The words were barely audible, filled with hurt and longing and desperate love.

“When you died, when you took Mother and Grandmother and Eleanor—you could have taken me too. Why didn’t you? Why did you leave me behind?”

Another tear fell, then another, her composure finally crumbling after months of being the strong one.

“I love you,” she whispered brokenly. “I’ve always loved you. Not just as a sister but as… as everything. And you left me. You left me alone.”

Julian’s heart clenched at the raw pain in her voice, the devastation written across her beautiful face.

Without another word, he leaned forward and kissed her.

His lips crashed against hers, claiming them, tasting the salt of her tears mixed with the sweetness he remembered. His hand on her neck pulled her closer while his other moved to her waist, wrapping around her.

Eva gasped against his mouth, her hands flying up to grip his shoulders, fingers digging in as if she was afraid he might disappear again if she didn’t hold tight enough.
