I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

“There’s only one way we can go,” Lian muttered, trying to maintain control of the situation.

“We are not going to stand here and let whatever this is tear us apart.”

He glanced at his army. “Even if there is a powerful opponent behind this barrier, we can at least try to take them down with 1500 of us. But the one behind us…

Lian’s voice trailed off as fear crossed his face. “It feels like some psychotic fucker. I would rather hang myself than fall to someone like that.”

The soldiers around him stiffened at his words, their faces paling as they exchanged uneasy glances.

Whispers began to spread—Lian was known for his cold and calculating nature, but hearing him speak like this was enough to send shivers down their spines. Some of the soldiers who had heard the tales of Lian and Arberus, the infamous “Demon of Torture” duo, shook even more.

They had terrorized countless people, broken spirits with their cruelty. But now, here they were, visibly shaken and uncertain. It was enough to tell that whoever or whatever was behind this had the power to break even the strongest of men.

Lian took a deep breath, his resolve hardening.

“Move out now. We push forward. If we die, we die fighting,” he ordered. “But we are not letting anyone play games with us. Not today.”

The soldiers suppressed their fear and rallied behind him. They had no choice but to follow their commander’s orders, even if it meant walking blindly to their own death.

The trembling earth had already shown them that their enemies were far more dangerous than they had anticipated. And now, they had no idea what kind of psychotic force they were about to face.

As Lian and his soldiers cautiously reached the end of the forest, a heavy silence hung in the air. The ground beneath their feet felt unnaturally calm, and the trembling had finally stopped.

But as soon as they stepped out, everything came to a complete stop. Every soldier froze, their eyes widening in disbelief.

“What the fuck?” Lian muttered under his breath.

His gaze was locked on the sight before him, unable to process what he was seeing. He stepped forward, his eyes scanning the horizon. Before him stood nearly a thousand soldiers, each of them clad in the unique armor belonging to the Easvil family.

The sight sent a chill down his spine.

These weren’t the soldiers of the Duchy of Ethwer, nor were they any bandits or criminals he was used to dealing with. These were highly trained, well-equipped men of Easvil, who made it one of the duke families of the kingdom.

His soldiers tensed up, fear creeping in their veins as they realized they were surrounded. No one spoke—there was no need to.

The Easvil soldiers didn’t move, didn’t speak; they stood in perfect formation. Their eyes were fixed on Lian’s army with an unsettling calm.

Lian narrowed his eyes, his instincts telling him to act anyway he could. He could sense the overwhelming presence of someone powerful who commanded this army of men.

“This wasn’t just an ordinary ambush. They have been waiting for us; these bastards knew we would come.”

Arberus, standing beside him, shot him a wary glance. “But how the hell did they know where we were? We have been moving fast, covering ground quickly. This… doesn’t make sense.”

Lian gritted his teeth, his eyes darting around as he calculated their next move.

He could feel the pressure building, the unease eating at him. But he couldn’t afford to show weakness now.

His soldiers needed him to lead them, to take charge, and to keep them from panicking.

He turned to the nearest soldier. “Get a scout out there—find out who is leading these men. We need information now.”

The soldier nodded and sprinted off, leaving Lian with his thoughts. He stared at the seemingly endless line of Easvil soldiers, and every second passed felt like an eternity.

The feeling of being trapped was overwhelming, and the only option was now to fight.

But before Lian could make another move, a figure stepped forward from the ranks of Easvil soldiers.

Lian’s heart skipped a beat. He knew this man. He had heard of him before.

It was Julian Easvil.

Alden stood just behind Julian, a quiet but unmistakable pride swelling within him. As he watched his son take command, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of confidence, something he hadn’t experienced in years.

His son had truly grown. The once rash and reckless youth had matured into a force to be reckoned with.

Alden looked up at the sky. It’s my turn to step down.

The atmosphere on the battlefield was tense with the anticipation of what would come next.

However, the next moment, Julian’s voice cut through the silence, loud enough for everyone on the battlefield to hear.

“Welcome to our Duchy, everybody. I see we have many visitors here,” Julian announced, his tone dripping with mockery.

His eyes swept over the enemy forces before locking on Lian and Arberus. “Do you like our welcome gift?”

Lian’s clenched his fists in rage while Arberus instinctively placed a hand on his sword, ready for a fight.

Julian’s words stung, but they also revealed the truth: they had been lured into a trap.

Lian’s mind raced, trying to calculate their next move, but Julian’s presence was like an impenetrable wall.

The man before him wasn’t the same as the one they had once underestimated.

Lian’s voice rose as he replied back, “Julian, don’t be arrogant. You still haven’t won.”

Julian’s smile only widened at Lian’s words. “Yes, but we are getting closer, wouldn’t you agree, my friend?” He said the words with such ease, such certainty, that it felt like a direct challenge.

Lian wiped the sweat off his brow. He had never been one to show weakness, but something about Julian’s calmness unsettled him. He couldn’t allow this man to get inside his head.

Silence overwhelmed the battlefield as Lian calmed himself, refusing to let Julian mock him any further.

But Julian wasn’t done. His voice rang out again, mocking and full of disdain.

“Or do you think your sorry excuse of 1500 men is enough to turn the tide?”

Lian’s chest tightened at the insult, but he said nothing. The soldiers around him shifted uncomfortably, glancing at each other nervously.

In the midst of this, Julian remained relaxed, his smile never leaving his face.

But Lian wasn’t ready to back down. Not yet.

“You’re wrong, Julian,” Lian finally spat, his voice low but filled with conviction.

“You may have power, but your arrogance will be your downfall.”

He glanced back at his men, who were visibly shaken by the overwhelming presence of Easvil’s forces, but there was a fire in their eyes too. “We will see who has the last laugh.”

For a moment, the battlefield was silent again. Both sides were on edge, the first spark of conflict waiting to set off an all-out war.

As the drama on the battlefield reached its peak, a soldier from Lian’s army suddenly shouted, “What is that?!”

The words were heard throughout the ranks, causing every soldier to turn. Their gaze was drawn to the rocky mountain that they had passed earlier.

The sight that met their eyes was like something out of a nightmare.

The mountain, which was once barren with no life, was now filled with thousands upon thousands of soldiers.

The sound of armor clanking, swords being drawn, and shouts of men filled the air. These weren’t just a few stray units—this was a massive force that appeared out of nowhere and was ready to descend upon them.

Lian’s heart skipped a beat. They had been surrounded, cornered without mercy. There was no escape now.

Arberus let go of his sword, his fingers trembling as he took in the overwhelming sight. His usual confidence shattered like glass, his shoulders sagged in defeat.

The number of enemy forces was far too much to handle. The fight was over before it even began.

“This… This can’t be happening,” Arberus muttered, his voice barely audible. “We are finished.”

Their situation had gone from bad to worse, and there was no turning back. The once-feared duo, Lian and Arberus, were now trapped, their power meaningless in the face of an overwhelming enemy.

Julian’s voice echoed through the battlefield again. “It seems you didn’t realize, but this is the true force of Easvil. You never stood a chance.”

Lian’s fists clenched, and he faced Julian, but the fire in his eyes had dimmed. Arberus remained silent.

For the first time, they truly understood the depth of Julian’s power.

What had seemed like a daring attack had turned into an inescapable trap.

Julian’s laughter echoed across the battlefield.

“The loyalty you bought with money,” he said, “I bought the same loyalty with power. And while you might think money is powerful, nothing is more raw and unyielding than power itself. An overwhelming authority combined with pure force.”
