I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 536: Finally... Heaven

A tear appeared in the fabric of existence. Its edges gleamed with soft, bluish light, and through the opening, glimpses of somewhere else could be seen.

The portal expanded silently, its boundaries perfectly circular and smooth as a polished mirror. No sound emerged from whatever lay beyond, no wind or energy—just an invitation into mystery.

Julian turned his attention to Annie, who still knelt on the ground where she had collapsed, staring at him with wide eyes. Her body trembled, and this time it was not from fear but from the devastating realization that the child she had loved was something far beyond her understanding.

Without speaking a word, Julian extended his will toward her, and Annie felt herself beginning to rise.

Her mouth opened in a soundless gasp. Within moments, she was floating like a feather.

The fear in her eyes gradually gave way to something approaching wonder as she realized that whatever Julian was, whoever wore her sonʼs face, it meant her no harm.

”Rael...” she whispered, the name carrying all the love and loss of a motherʼs heart.

Even now, even knowing the truth, she could not bring herself to call him by that other name the Patriarch had used.

And then, without words or explanation, both Julian and Annie simply vanished into the portal.

The portal lingered for a few seconds longer, then it too faded away, leaving not even a disturbance in the air to mark where it had been.

The Patriarch was left standing in the perfectly restored village, staring at empty space where the most significant encounter of his existence had just... ended. Without resolution. Without answers. Without even acknowledgment of his existence.

For the first time since his birth, the Patriarch felt truly small.

Meanwhile,

Julian and Annie reappeared in a realm that was completely foreign to anything either of them had ever witnessed or imagined. The very air felt different here, as if each breath contained purer, more potent possibility.

Julian looked around in wonder, his eyes taking in details that would have driven mortal minds to madness.

Before them stood a gate that defied all comprehension. Its titanic frame stretched higher than mountains, vanishing into the clouds of a sky that was not quite a sky.

Its surface shimmered with shifting light, gold one moment and silver the next, and was etched with ancient runes that pulsed as if alive. At the very center, written in characters that radiated authority, were the words:

HEAVENʼS GATE

Julian narrowed his eyes, his curiosity stirring as he stepped closer. Beyond the gate stretched a sight so alien that it stole even his breath.

Scattered throughout an infinite void of darkness floated countless islands—not hundreds or thousands, but truly uncountable numbers like stars in a night sky. They drifted in the emptiness, each one carrying its own landscapes—towering cities, forests of silver leaves, oceans that poured endlessly into the void but never fell.

Each island was unique, yet all shared an otherworldly beauty that spoke of divine craftsmanship. Some were small, perhaps housing a single perfect garden or a crystalline palace that caught and reflected the light of distant stars. Others were vast beyond measure, their surfaces containing entire kingdoms that were built with such brilliant techniques that it seemed crime to gaze upon it for free.

They floated at different levels and were connected by bridges that arced gracefully through the void.

Annie gasped softly, clutching her chest as her eyes tried and failed to grasp the immensity of the sight before her.

Julian, however, simply stood still, his expression calm but his eyes gleaming with quiet fascination. For all his arrogance, even he had never dreamed of such a place. He could feel it—this was not a vision, nor a dream. It was real.

Heaven.

The void between the islands was not empty—it was filled with a gentle, soft glow that had no visible source, as if the very fabric of space here contained its own inner light. Occasionally, figures could be seen moving along the bridges or within the distant palaces—beings of such radiance that they appeared more as moving constellations than physical entities.

”Rael…” Annie whispered, her voice trembling. ”Where… where are we?”

Julian didnʼt answer right away. He stepped closer to the gate, lifting a hand to run his fingers over the glowing runes.

Finally, he spoke—his voice low, almost reverent.

”This,” he murmured, ”is the threshold of everything.”

The gate itself stood open, requiring no key or permission to pass through. Yet something about its openness felt intentional.

Julian understood the significance of the open gate immediately. It was a declaration of what type of place this was—a realm where entry was freely granted to those who could reach it, but departure... that was another matter entirely.

You may come as you wish, but leaving will not be so simple.

Still, Julian stepped forward without hesitation.

The moment they crossed the threshold, space shifted subtly around them—the ground became more solid, the air took on a quality that made every breath feel like a blessing, and the distant sounds of the floating realm became audible for the first time.

They had barely taken a dozen steps into this divine domain when a figure approached them. His body was lean, his skin blue, and the only thing he wore was a strip of cloth tied loosely around his waist, hiding nothing but his crotch.

Behind him, women moved silently—each dressed in nothing more than a strip of cloth across their breasts and a short wrap below. Their gazes lingered on Julian, but when they slid over Annie, a flicker of amusement curved their lips.

Annie flushed, suddenly far too aware of her own covered body.

The man stopped a few steps away, his eyes scanning them. His voice was low but carried an odd calmness.

”Strangers. Which world do you step from? The realm of fire? The realm of stars? Or…” His eyes lingered on Julian, then drifted to Annie, lingering too long. ”…the realm of mortals?”

Annie shifted uncomfortably under his gaze, heat rising to her cheeks. Julian only smirked, tilting his head.
