I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 342: Only weak hold the agreement

Gregoriaʼs expression remained composed for a moment, but her eyes betrayed her. She shifted in her seat, her posture tensing slightly, as if to regain control of the situation.

Julian smirked, enjoying how Gregoria was reacting to his teasing. With a chuckle, he dipped his tongue into the milk, slowly swirling it before licking in a deliberately sensual manner.

Gregoria remained composed, but Julian noticed the way her grip on her glass tightened slightly. She acted uninterested, but he knew that he was pushing through.

Pulling back, he licked his lips clean and sighed. ”Milk tastes better this way.”

Gregoria finally exhaled, looking away as if nothing had happened.

As the feast concluded, everyone stood to leave, heading to their respective chambers.

Gregoria rose gracefully from her seat and turned toward the corridor leading to her room. She walked away without sparing Julian a single glance.

Julian leaned back in his chair, watching her go with a smirk. His sharp eyes didnʼt miss the way her hips swayed with each step. It wasnʼt too much, but it was there—natural and effortless.

Whether intentional or not, it was enough to stir something within him.

He stood, stretching slightly before following her. The hallways of the castle were quiet, lit only by the flickering torches and lamps.

Gregoria didnʼt turn around. Didnʼt acknowledge him. But Julian knew she was aware. How could she not be? He was following her, his presence undeniable.

And yet, she said nothing.

A slow smirk formed on his lips. So, she was going to play this game? Fine. He enjoyed a challenge.

Julian let the silence stretch, enjoying the tension in the air. His footsteps were unhurried, matching the pace of Gregoria. She continued walking as if she hadnʼt noticed, but he saw it—the slight tension in her body, the faintest hesitation in her steps.

She knew.

As they reached the corridor of her room, Julian decided to test.

”You always walk this slow, Grandmother? Or are you giving me time to enjoy the view?”

Gregoria didnʼt stop, didnʼt even turn her head. ”Go to bed, Julian,” she said with a simple sigh.

But he wasnʼt moved. If anything, her lack of reaction made him even more intrigued.

He stepped closer, just enough to make his scent fill her senses. ”Bed? Now why would you say something so tempting?”

Gregoria finally reached her door and placed her hand on the handle. For a moment, she stood still, as if considering something. Then, with the smallest movement, she pushed it open—just enough to step inside.

But what caught Julianʼs attention most was that she didnʼt close it fully.

A test. A challenge, or perhaps an invitation.

So, she wants to play it like this?

Without hesitation, he stepped forward and pushed the door open before entering. The air inside the room was warmer and heavier, making the whole thing even more thrilling.

Gregoria stood ahead of him, her back towards him, but she didnʼt turn to face him.

”You didnʼt tell me to leave,” he murmured, stepping closer.

Gregoria exhaled slowly, tilting her head just slightly. ”And if I do now?”

Julian chuckled, leaning in closer to her ear. ”Then why didnʼt you do it before?” he whispered, sending shivers through her.

He leaned back, his smirk deepening as his gaze flickered between Gregoria and the unconscious form of Augustus.

Gregoria did not reply immediately; rather, she calmly reached up to remove her earrings as if Julianʼs presence was of no consequence to her.

After some heavy seconds, she finally spoke, ”Go, Julian,” she whispered, her voice barely audible.

”You expect me to leave after this, Grandmother?” Julian replied his voice was low, smooth, filled with unmistakable hunger.

Gregoria finally turned fully to face him, her sharp gaze locking onto his. ”You are bold, Julian.”

He chuckled as he closed the space between them. ”And you are beautiful. But we both already knew that.”

Her lips parted slightly, though she quickly composed herself. She had spent years mastering how to control her emotions, but Julian could see the cracks forming—the way her fingers lingered too long on her earrings, the way her chest rose and fell just a little faster than before.

”You should leave,” she said again, her eyes locked onto his.

Julianʼs smile did not falter. His hands reached to the door, moving it along the doorframe.

With a sly smile, he leaned in, just enough that his breath caressed her cheek.

”Then close the door properly next time,” he murmured, his voice low and seductive.

.Gregoria inhaled sharply, but she said nothing.

Not yet.

Julian turned away, but not before letting his fingers brush lightly against the fabric of her sleeve—a fleeting touch, but enough to send another wave of shivers through her.

With a final smirk, he walked away, leaving behind an air thick with tension.

He continued walking through the halls, his footsteps echoing in the silent castle.

Just then, he heard the familiar voice of the system in his mind.

”Host, you had the perfect opportunity to conquer her. Why leave?”

Julian chuckled at the serious tone of the system. ”Did I really?” he said aloud, his eyes narrowing slightly as he recalled the moments he had spent in Gregoriaʼs room.

”You saw how composed she was, right? Even when I pushed every button to get a reaction. She didnʼt break.”

The system remained silent, and Julianʼs pace slowed as he thought about it more deeply.

”Sheʼs not like the others. Not even close.” He let out a silent breath.

”She is a Grand Mage, the Grand Duchess. That title, that power... itʼs not just for show. She is as calculative as she is alluring, and thatʼs why I didnʼt push further.”

The systemʼs voice returned, tinged with a bit of frustration. ”But what about the deal? The deal that you won with her. You could have taken advantage of that.”

Julian stopped, turning toward the nearest window.

”Deals? Only the weak withhold the agreement. She is just as powerful as me and can easily overpower me. Not maybe through her power, but through her influence.”
