I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 271: Dakotaʼs warning.

The ritual tomorrow… Julian thought, feeling the anticipation building within him. What could they be planning?

Tomorrow, I will find out exactly what they are up to.

The morning light crept through the small windows, casting soft rays across the room as Julian slowly woke up. His body still ached from the tension of the previous night, but his mind was focused.

He silently made his way through the house, careful not to wake anyone.

When he reached the kitchen, he found Dakota preparing food. She glanced at him for a brief moment, before returning to her task without saying a word.

Unlike before, when she used to glare at him or look at him with visible disgust, her demeanor was different now.

Julian stood still for a moment, studying her. There was something off about the way she was acting, and he couldnʼt shake the feeling that something had changed.

Dakota continued to prepare the food silently, but Julian could feel that her silence was more unsettling than her usual sharp words.

Julian approached her slowly, his gaze locked on Dakota.

”Looks like you have a lot on your mind,” he said.

Dakota didnʼt flinch or show the usual sharpness in her eyes. She simply paused for a moment before resuming cutting the vegetables.

”You are wrong,” she replied, her voice calm and distant, ”I donʼt have much on my mind.” But there was a subtle hesitation in her tone that Julian immediately picked up on.

He stepped closer, his presence making her stiffen slightly, though she didnʼt turn to face him.

”I donʼt buy it,” he said, his voice lowering with a hint of teasing. ”I can tell when somethingʼs weighing on someoneʼs mind. Itʼs written all over you.”

Dakota finally met his eyes, a flicker of something unreadable passing through her gaze. She didnʼt answer him right away, instead focusing on her task, but he could see the slight tremble in her hands as she cut the vegetables.

”Iʼm fine,” she said, her voice imitating the sharpness she used to have.

Julian smirked, sensing her discomfort. There is something going on here, he thought, but he knew pressing her for answers now would only push her further away.

Just then, Aria entered the kitchen, and Julian tensed for a moment, his senses sharpening. She smiled at him warmly, the kind of smile that felt genuine and yet somehow unsettling.

”Are you enjoying yourself?” she asked, her voice soft.

Julian was caught off guard, unsure how to respond. He stuttered slightly. ”I... iii... yes, yes,” he said, fumbling with his words.

Ariaʼs smile widened in amusement, and she let out a soft laugh before turning and walking away without another word.

As she left, Julian stood frozen, still processing the interaction. What the hell is going on with these people? he thought.

The image of Aria from the night before—the eerie, unsettling, and ghostly presence—flashed in his mind. Although his senses were influenced, he could not help the chills that ran through him.

He shook his head, trying to push it aside. People of this house are fucking weird, he mused, rubbing the back of his neck in frustration.

Despite his usual confidence and power, something about this place was messing with his mind.

Julian sat down for breakfast. I am going to watch this ritual, and then I am getting the fuck out of here, he thought with a sly smile, trying to ignore the uneasy feeling eating at him.

The breakfast passed silently. Once finished, he excused himself and ventured out into the forest. He searched the forest, hoping to find a way out, but no matter how far he walked or how many paths he took, there was no escape.

Just as the sun began to set, he returned to the village. He knew that tonight, the ritual would unfold, and he needed to be prepared for whatever strange and dark things might come next.

Julian was sitting in Hanuʼs room, absorbing mana, when a soft knock on the door jolted him awake. He stood, walking to open it, and found Dakota standing in the doorway.

Her face was unusually pale and she looked defeated, her posture hunched as if weighed down by something heavy.

Julian raised an eyebrow, his voice mixture of curiosity and concern. ”Whatʼs the matter, Dakota?”

She locked her gaze with him. ”Let me give you a last piece of advice, Julian,” she said, her voice low and forcefully composed.

”I know you mean no harm to anyone and that you have wandered into this place by accident, but in any case... do not come outside tonight. No matter what you might feel like.”

Her warning hung heavy in the air, the seriousness of her tone sending a chill through Julianʼs spine.

He stood there, frozen for a moment, trying to make sense of what was happening. The fear in her eyes only made it harder for Julian to stay calm and composed.

”Why?” Julian managed to ask.

Dakota shook her head slowly, her lips trembling as if she didnʼt want to say more. ”Just trust me. Stay inside tonight.....Please.”

Without waiting for a reply, she turned and walked away, leaving Julian standing alone in the doorway.

He watched as Dakota disappeared down the hallway. Despite the unease that built inside him, he couldnʼt ignore the pull of curiosity.

”Sorry, Dakota,” he muttered to himself, ”but I have to see this for myself.”

Julian called for the invisibility cloak, and a wave of mana swept over him. He vanished from sight as his body became one with the shadows.

He chuckled. Letʼs see what this is all about, his pulse quickening with a mix of excitement and uncertainty.

Silently, he followed the path that Dakota had taken. His steps were muffled by the cloakʼs magic. After what felt like an eternity, he reached Dakotaʼs room and paused.

The door was slightly open, just enough to allow him a glimpse inside. His breath caught as she slowly began to take off her garments. The delicate rustle of fabric was the only sound in the room as she revealed herself completely, her naked figure now exposed to the dim light.

Julianʼs heart raced as a figure emerged from the shadows, instantly drawing his attention. It was Harith, Dakotaʼs younger son.

Dakota sat at the edge of the bed and looked up as Harith approached. Without a word, she gestured for him to come closer. The boy hesitated for a moment, but then he obeyed, stepping toward her.

She pulled him onto her lap, her arms wrapping around him in a protective yet possessive manner. The room seemed to close in around Julian as his mind struggled to process the scene unfolding before him.

Dakota gently guided Harith closer, her movements tender yet unnervingly deliberate. She held him close, guiding him to her breast. The act seemed so natural, but at the same time had a certain edge of foreign and discomfort to it.

Suddenly, a tear slipped down Dakotaʼs cheek and her expression softened with sorrow. She caressed Harithʼs hair gently, ”I am so sorry…” she whispered, her voice trembling with regret.

Harith, unaware of the turmoil within her, continued feeding.

Julianʼs eyes fell on the figure of Harith. He had seen some unique customs and beliefs, but this was completely new to him. In this tribe, children were treated as infants until they reached the age of 18. The outside worldʼs standards of maturity didnʼt apply here.

The idea had always unsettled him. Even though Harith might seem like a teenage boy, here, he was still regarded as a child in every sense.

After some time, Dakota and Harith rose from the bed. She took his hand in hers and without a word, they began walking toward the door.

Julian quickly straightened up as they passed by, his heart pounding wildly in his chest as he watched them leave the room. He quickly followed behind them, his steps silent and careful.

They made their way through the dim corridors and stepped out of the house into the cool night air.

Dakota paused for a moment, her head tilting slightly, as though listening for something. Harith glanced up at her with confusion flickering across his face, but he remained silent, obediently following her lead.

Once outside, Julianʼs eyes darted around the village. Nothing seemed out of place. The huts were bathed in quiet silence, and the only sound was the faint rustling of the wind through the trees.

Julian kept a cautious distance as he continue to watch their every move. After a brief moment, they began to move again, making their way into the dense forest.

Julian followed, his heart pounding in a mix of excitement and anticipation. The forest was unnervingly dark, the towering trees blocking out even the faintest light of the moon. The silence was unnatural, amplifying every rustle of leaves beneath their feet.

For what felt like an eternity, they walked, the darkness growing heavier with each step. Then, out of the shadows, a cave came into view. It was shrouded in darkness. At this hour and moment, it seemed like a entrance to some forbidden world, a place that existed only in the depths of nightmares.

Julian hesitated for a moment as a chill ran down his spine. He was questioning whether to follow or not, but the pull of curiosity was too strong.
