I AM A MAGE BUT WITH MILF SYSTEM

Chapter 23: Newfound confidence

Julian stood and stretched his body as he took in the fresh morning air. He then decided to take a bath.

After a refreshing bath, Julian wore his noble attire. It was as finely tailored outfit that highlighted his stature and charisma. The fabric glowed as he moved, the deep blue hue complementing his striking features. He felt refreshed and ready to face the day.

He then made his way to the grand dining hall. The aroma of the breakfast filled the morning air. The table was adorned with an array of delicacies such as golden pastries, fresh fruits, and other tasty dishes prepared by the chefs.

As he entered the hall, the chatter of his family filled the room along with their laughter. Julian took his seat at the table. Alden, Regina, and the rest of his family welcomed him with smiles.

”Good morning, my son!” Alden said raising his glass. ”Letʼs celebrate your newfound power and achievements!”

Julian carefully hid his true power, suppressing his magic to that of the Mage Realm while concealing the immense battle strength he now possessed as a Sacred Realm mage.

He understood the importance of hiding the breakthrough, if his family discovered that he had achieved such a significant breakthrough in just a few days, it would undoubtedly raise suspicions and provoke unnecessary inquiries.

His family members indulged in various conversation, their plans for the day, upcoming events in the kingdom, and even glory from their past.

Julian nodded and laughed at the right moments, all the while plotting his next moves. With each bite of the delicious food, he thought about his newfound abilities and his future conquest.

But for now, he had to play the part of the diligent son, waiting for the right moment to reveal his true power when it would be most advantageous.

Aldenʼs words jolted Julian from his thoughts. ”Do you remember what today is?” he asked with a sense of urgency in his tone.

”We have to be present at the Royal Academy. All the youngsters and successors who have reached the Mage Realm from major families will be there.”

Julianʼs heart raced at the mention of the gathering. This was a significant event which would showcase the next generation of powerful mages. It was also an opportunity to observe the skills and strengths of others, a chance to gauge where he stood among his peers.

”Of course, Father,” Julian replied as he maintained a composed demeanor. ”I wouldnʼt miss it for anything.”

As they continued their breakfast, Julian mentally prepared himself for the day ahead, eager to see who else had reached the Mage Realm and to explore any potential alliances that could benefit him in the future.

Julian turned to his sisters, Eva and Eleanor with curiosity sparkling in his eyes.

”What realm are you in?” he asked, eager to know their progress.

”Weʼre in the Sovereign Realm,” Eva replied, her voice steady and confident. Eleanor nodded in agreement. She had a proud smile on her face.

Julianʼs mind raced with possibilities. Imagine the amount of points I can draw from them, he thought with excitement rising beneath the surface.

The thought of conquering his sisters brought a rush of adrenaline as the bonuses from their higher realm status enticing him further. He concealed his ambitions behind a casual smile. He was excited about the points but the real excitement was in the fantasy of indulging in such acts with his own sister.

As the breakfast and the chatter continued, Julianʼs gaze travelled to his grandmother, the Grand Duchess. How powerful is she? he wondered clearly intrigued by her status and the influence she wielded within the family and in the kingdom.

He turned to the system, his curiosity piqued. ”Can you tell me what realm my grandmother is in?” he inquired.

”Yes, but it will cost you 1,000 points.” The system said.

Julian paused as he weighed his options. The potential knowledge could unlock even greater strategies for him, especially considering the bonuses heʼd receive from someone of her caliber.

Is it worth it? he thought as he contemplated the point cost against the value of that information. After a momentʼs consideration, he decided that it was a necessary investment.

”Fine, show me her realm,” he commanded, ready to sacrifice the points for the knowledge of her realm.

”Grand Mage” the system replied nonchalantly,

”Grand Mage?” Julian choked on his food. His eyes widened in disbelief. The revelation hit him like a bolt of lightning.

His grandmother, the Grand Duchess was not only a powerful figure in the family but was also a magician powerful enough to hold the prestigious title of Grand Mage that only few in the kingdom had reached.

He leaned back in his chair, trying to process the implications. A Grand Mage. That meant she had immense power and experience far surpassing even the Sovereign Realm of his sisters, Eva and Eleanor.

Suddenly, the idea of approaching her took on a whole new significance. Could I really go after her? The thought sent a shiver of excitement down his spine as he felt the mixture of ambition and desire in a way that felt intoxicating and strangely alluring.

”Are you okay, Julian?” Alden asked, watching his son with a mixture of concern and curiosity.

”Yeah, just... surprised,” Julian managed to reply with a sly grin creeping onto his face as he contemplated the tantalizing idea ahead.

As he caught a glimpse of his grandmotherʼs cleavage, Julianʼs thoughts raced. The allure of her beauty mixed with the newfound knowledge of her strength made his heart race.

An archmage... he said, quickly shifting his gaze to his mother, Regina. The idea that she, too, might hold such power sent a thrill through him.

This family has really hidden their true potential, he thought with a sense of excitement washing over him. The sheer power of authority and strength within his family were deeper than he had ever imagined.

Julianʼs mind began to swirl with thoughts of what it could mean for his own ambitions. I will have enough time to think about morality after I become a Grand Mage. Julian laughed as he realized there was no turning back.

He leaned back with a smirk forming on his lips as he surveyed the room, considering how to navigate this delicate web of relationships.
