Chapter 357 Defensive Formation

Kant was refreshed, understood the origin of the bloody smell, nodded quickly and said: ”Yes, my subordinates will do it right away!”

A pure black extended suspension car was already waiting under the steps, and the rear door opened, revealing dark red high-end leather seats.

Kana leaned over and sat in the car. The driver in the front seat was a strong man in a black uniform, wearing black sunglasses, with a stern face.

The car door closed automatically, leaving behind Kant who was handling the corpse, and drove along the main road at a constant speed to the outside of the airport.

Kana put his elbow on the inner door bracket, and rested his cheek on his palm: ”How many people are we currently deploying in the colonial area?”

The strong man in black uniform who was in charge of driving reported in a buzzing voice: ”Reporting sir, including four high-level and direct armed forces lurking inside the Kaku family, there are about 40 people who can mobilize force. Counting unreliable employers, this number is still Double it again.”

”Too little...” Kana shook his head, with disappointment in his eyes: ”How is the progress of the research institute’s medicine?”

”Basically completed, just waiting for the plan to start.”

”That’s good.” Ganai tilted her head and cast her eyes out of the window: ”There is one more thing, how is the surveillance mission that you arranged for?”

”This...” The burly man in black uniform showed embarrassment, and said: ”The security system of the Blackwater chaebol in the Aigusi battle platform is sheltered. In order to avoid conflicts and expose our identities, we listened to the instructions of Chief Kant and did not dare to act rashly, so ...So there is no new progress regarding the monitoring of that man.”

”Huh!” Kana made a heavy nasal cavity, seeming dissatisfied with this.

The strong man’s face changed gradually, his forehead was sweating, and he swallowed saliva that didn’t exist.

The hover car continued to drive and entered the bustling residential area. Kana’s eyes flickered and he saw the projected billboards erected on both sides of the road.

”Simulation competition for the participants of the Machine Warfare Division?” Kana hesitated.

”Yes!” The brawny man hastily explained: ”It is a periodic open competition for participants held by the Aigusi Battlefield. Although the level is not as good as the professional duel competition for certified pilots, it is very popular in the planet. During this time Most people in the colony are paying attention.”

”Oh??” Kana put down her right hand and tapped the metal bracelet on her wrist.

The projection screen popped up, and it was the main page of the Elero Star online community.

She retrieved the characters, flipped through the information related to the Aigusi battle platform, and quickly locked her eyes on a post that was pinned to the top page.

”Mysterious contestants show amazing operations, or become a powerful winner of the mock competition.”

In the picture is a captured photo of a black-haired man, who looks exactly like the man Kana longs for.

Kana’s breath was stagnant, and her slender fingers stroked the face of the man in the picture, her cheeks flushed.

Finally see you!
Kana’s breathing became short, and she stared in a daze. Under the bright red dress, her long, strong legs twisted and rubbed subconsciously, and her lower body began to secrete warm liquid.

Aigusi Battle Station Machine War Section, 05 Mobile Squad Station.

”You let me play the defensive position?”

The young male contestant let out a small cry and stood up from his seat: ”But I’ve always played the assault position!”

He Xiaomiao put down the data terminal in his hand, raised his head and stared at the other party. It was a short chestnut male contestant with freckles on his face.

Cassie, ranked 390 in the personal simulation competition, is good at mid-range and short-range raid operations, and has perfect scores in relevant theoretical and practical courses. Currently, he has obtained a body with a score of more than 80 in the practical course evaluation.

The third generation arc, the third generation falcon, the third generation black barrier...

The two looked at each other, and He Xiaomiao immediately remembered Cassie’s grades and personal information, and saw the stubbornness unique to young people from his face.

Among the five major systems of a combat mech, weapons, armor, transmission, and life support, the parameter configuration of the first four systems all depend on the upper limit of the output energy of the engine system.

In order to cope with various combat environments and actual combat needs, different types of combat mechs have unique positioning at the beginning of design.

For example, the Dragoon V that He Xiaomiao used to drive is a comprehensive combat mecha, and the parameters of the four major system equipment are relatively average.

After installing additional armor, it can adapt to various complex battlefield environments such as underground, underwater, sky, vacuum, gravitational field, magnetic storm turbulence, etc., and perform standardized combat tasks.

Corresponding to the balanced design concept of Dragoon V, it is the design idea of extreme strengthening.

Like the Nightmare of Light that Si Yi had driven, this mech had been specially enhanced in its weapon system, and the destructive power and range of the long-range beam cannon were astonishing.

However, due to the load limit of the engine energy, the energy consumption of the weapon system is too high, resulting in a slightly crude configuration of the armor system and transmission system of the Nightmare of Light’s body.

The parameter performance in this aspect is much weaker, and it is only suitable for the rear row fire output that provides positional warfare.

In the military assessment project of the Federal Mobile Operations Force, different types of mechs need to be combined into a fixed formation according to the actual battlefield situation in order to achieve the best possible tactical effect. This is also the core content of the battlefield team simulation competition.

A standard mech battle formation must have at least five types of mechas with tactical positioning existing at the same time.

Only in this way can each machine body complement each other’s parameters. Under ideal conditions, a machine combat formation can even achieve the results that can only be achieved with three times the number of scattered mechas.

These five tactical positions are assault position, cooperative position, sniper position, defensive position and free position.

For a long time, Cassie has served as the assault position of the 05 team. As the name suggests, the function of the assault position is mainly to charge into the formation and destroy the enemy’s defensive formation through high-level mobility and short-range firepower bursts.

Pilots in the assault position usually drive mid-to-short-range medium-sized mechs with high firepower and high-speed parameters. Cassie piloted the ”Light Arc” that participated in the most battles. The third-generation mech with the Positron main gun.

”Not anymore from today.”

With a serious expression, He Xiaomiao pointed to a blue punctuation mark on the laser projection screen beside him, and said in a deep voice, ”Cassie, for this simulation match, I want you to drive the black barrier and be responsible for the defense of the rear row of the formation.”

Cassie showed displeasure, and temporarily switched tactical positions. He Xiaomiao obviously did not believe in his personal strength.

He has served as the assault position of the 05 team for a long time, and his performance in the simulation game has been very good. He really can’t think of a reason to replace the position.

Si Yi on the side reminded at the right time: ”Cassie, no matter what, follow the captain’s arrangement.”

”But...” In the middle of speaking, Cassie caught a glimpse of Si Yi’s staring eyes, and finally sat back in his seat: ”Okay, I see.”

He Xiaomiao nodded to Si Yi, thanked the latter for his cooperation, and pointed to another green cursor: ”Si Yi, you have changed from the sniper position to the defensive position on the left flank of the formation. The model of the mech you are driving is to be determined. I’ll let you know on race day.”
