Chapter 138 Encountering a Strange Beast

Chapter 138 Encountering a Strange Beast
”it is good.”

Li Tongzhe nodded.

The others glanced at Xiaonian and didn’t say anything, they just clenched the crossbow in their hands.

Goals agreed.

Get ready.

Ten people embarked on a journey to find the strange beast.

In the past two days, Su Ming and his three men had almost killed all the strange beasts near Dawn City.

Occasionally, two or three fish that slipped through the net also fled here in fright.

therefore.

It is not easy to find a second-level or above exotic beast here.

The ten people walked along the dry forest for more than half an hour, and only saw one or two unusually sensitive first-order beasts.

Gradually.

Everyone relaxed their vigilance and started chatting.

Fang Jia, a young student, was at the front of the line.

Seeing the vast plain ahead, he said with a hint of resentment: ”I have been looking for more than half an hour and I haven’t even seen the shadow of the strange beast. If we really listen to some people, we will never be able to complete the mission in this life.”

The young man at the back of the hall felt very uncomfortable when he heard it, but he didn’t know how to refute it for a while, so he could only remain silent.

At this time, someone asked curiously: ”You said there are so many strange beasts, how did Boss Su clean them up?”

Fang Jia looked at him and said, ”Nonsense, of course it depends on fists.”

”In our eyes, those strange beasts are more terrifying than each other, but in the eyes of Mr. Su, they are just pieces of moving food.”

”By the way, what did Boss Su and the others eat, and why are they so strong?”

”I don’t know, it should be a strengthening potion?”

”Impossible! The captain of the first team has also used strengthening potions, and he hasn’t become so strong.”

”I do not know.”

”Speaking of which, Boss Su and the others are so powerful, can they still be considered human beings?”

”Nonsense! If you are physically strong, you are not considered human? What’s the point!”

Everyone chatted without saying a word.

suddenly.

Li Tongzhe found something, lowered his voice and said, ”Quiet!”

In an instant, everyone raised the crossbow in their hands and fell silent.

This is a conditioned reflex formed during this period of living in the wasteland.

wow wow wow-

After everyone quieted down, there was a sudden loud noise not far away, but no sound could be heard.

Li Tongzhe’s eyes narrowed, he lowered his voice and ordered: ”Get ready for battle.”

Everyone became nervous when they heard this.

A pair of eyes stared straight ahead.

Time passed by minute by minute.

The loud noises are getting closer.

Everyone is getting more and more nervous.

bang——

suddenly.

There was a muffled sound ahead!
A huge strange beast whose shape could not be clearly seen emerged from the ground.

When Li Tongzhe saw this scene, his eyes narrowed, and he gave the order decisively.

”Aim, shoot!”

The voice fell.

Lead by example and pull the trigger.

call out--

A crossbow arrow was shot out in response, and was directly nailed to the body of the huge beast!
Being shot by the crossbow arrow, the huge beast suffered pain and curled up instantly.

At this moment.

Everyone can see what it looks like.

There is no head and no tail, a long one.

The segmented body is covered with fine scales.

It’s a bit like an enlarged version of the headless adder.

This was the first time that everyone had a direct conflict with a strange beast.

Although he held a weapon in his hand, he still didn’t react for a while.

Standing in place, at a loss.

Seeing that no one was attacking, Li Tongzhe roared: ”You’re all going to shoot!”

A roar awakened everyone.

Fang Jia reacted the fastest.

According to the posture of the previous training, aim and shoot!
call out--

Another crossbow bolt was nailed to the body of the huge beast!

The huge beast suffered from pain, and its body twisted violently.

Seeing this, the others shot one after another!

One after another, the crossbow arrows drew beautiful curves in mid-air and nailed to the body of the strange beast.

Just for a moment.

The strange beast couldn’t bear it.

One end of the body plunged into the radiation-filled soil, trying to escape from here.

Seeing this, Li Tongzhe immediately yelled, ”Damn it, don’t let it get away!”

It was hard to catch such a strange beast.

If it runs away, there’s no telling when the task will be completed.

When the others saw this scene, they all sped up their movements.

shhhhh--

One after another, the crossbow arrows fell on the body of the huge beast like raindrops.

Less than 2 minutes.

Ten people fired a total of thirty or forty crossbow bolts.

To know.

Even the most powerful third-tier alien beast, the vital parts, can only withstand an arrow from an epic-level crossbow.

therefore.

Before the huge beast could react to what happened, it was shot dead on the spot.

Half of his body was still stuck in the soil, and his escape attempt failed.

”call--”

Seeing this scene, Li Tongzhe let out a sigh of relief.

Going to check some out.

suddenly.

Familiar noises sounded all around again!
”Damn it! More than one!”

Li Tongzhe reacted instantly and his face became a little ugly.

next second.

He turned to look at everyone and ordered: ”Group two, back to back, each guarding one direction!”

”it is good!”

After all, he had spent so many days in the wasteland.

These people are not trash.

With a word from Li Tongzhe, they understood what to do.

Two people form a group, each facing the same direction.

Raise your weapons and prepare to face the enemy.

Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
There were continuous muffled noises nearby.

Just half a minute.

Three identical beasts burst out of the ground.

One end of the body suddenly opened, revealing a bloody mouth like a meat grinder, attacking everyone.

Such a bloody mouth, if anyone is swallowed, there will be no chance of life!
but.
experienced previous battles.

Everyone understands.

As long as you keep calm and kill them, it doesn’t take much effort!
”Aim, shoot!”

One command.

Everyone skillfully pulled the trigger.

shhhhh--

One after another, the crossbow arrows rushed towards the beast one after another like a violent storm, as fast as thunder!

The three strange beasts were shot by the crossbow arrows, and without exception, they curled up.

obviously.

Their defense is worse than imagined!

Li Tongzhe looked happy when he saw this and shouted: ”Don’t stop! Keep attacking!”

In fact, without his reminder, everyone had already started the second round of attacks.

shhhhh--

Accompanied by the whistling sound of piercing through the air, one after another the crossbow arrows were nailed to the body of the strange beast again.

”Pretty!”

Li Tongzhe was overjoyed when he saw this, and was about to load the crossbow.

suddenly.

There was a roar like thunder not far away.

”Roar--”

Followed by.

Three gigantic beasts burrowed into the ground at the same time!

”Why do you want to run? It’s late!”

With a ruthless look on his face, Li Tongzhe aimed at the front end of the body of the alien creature in front of him and pulled the trigger.

call out--

The whistling sound of piercing the sky sounded.

The strange beast was killed before it could get into the ground!
Of the three alien beasts, only one escaped.

”Captain, let’s catch up, we can’t let it get away!”

aside.

Fang Jia shouted excitedly.

Li Tongzhe hadn’t had time to respond.

The roar like thunder sounded again.

”Roar--”
