The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 231: 231 - I have a favor to ask of you.

”So... did hubby sleep well? Fufufu~~” Ruyan giggled softly when she noticed Qingyi’s eyes opening.

”What do you think?” Qingyi returned her smile as he stood up and looked outside.

He had slept for almost a whole day, which wasn’t so much when considering that he had almost two hundred days of accumulated mental fatigue.

But it had all been worth it.

Qingyi’s greatest weakness was still his lack of combat experience, especially when compared to experts with hundreds or thousands of years.

With those two hundred days, he had focused all his transcendental talent on solving this and the result was noticeable.

He had cut the time he spent using a skill by almost half, his battle senses becoming even sharper.

To be better than that, only if he were able to create a clone of himself in the seaf of the mind, something that, according to Ruxue, might be possible in the future.

That would make it much easier to train and gain real combat experience.

But now was not the time to think about that.

” Contacting your brother is part of my mission, I got his servant token.” Qingyi spoke, those words making Ruyan’s eyes light up.

”Uh? Is the hubby going to kill him now? Blow his balls off?” She stood up excitedly.

”Hahaha... yes, I’m going to blow his balls off, but not now. I have a mission to complete first.”

Ruyan looked a little disappointed, but soon recovered her sparkle.

Exchanging a passionate kiss with her one last time, Qingyi put the mask prepared by Heidu on his face and activated the concealment arrays of the three-bladed monarch set before leaving.

As the most talented son of the demon cult leader, Xue Mo naturally had his own private residence, a mansion no smaller in size than a small village.

Unlike Ruyan’s mansion, this one was completely surrounded by hundreds of guards, the weakest in the Nascent Soul Realm.

Another thousand servants looked after the mansion’s every need, ensuring that everything was perfect.

”Halt there, disciple, do you have permission to be here?” One of the guards protecting the main gate asked, stepping forward.

Qingyi immediately reached into his robes and pulled out a small token.

The moment they saw that token, the look on the guards’ faces changed completely and they greeted Qingyi with respect, allowing him to enter.

”You must be the young lord’s new personal servant.” A middle-aged, elegant-looking servant approached Qingyi. ”What’s your name?”

”It’s Zhao, miss, I don’t have a surname.”

”I see, Mr. Zhao, come with me.” The servant bowed before entering the mansion.

”Do you know why young Lord Xue Mo chose you to be his new personal servant?” The servant asked, looking at Qingyi out of the corner of her eye.

”Because I was lucky and because the last servant made a mistake.”

”Exactly.” The servant nodded, her thin lips curving into a soft smile.

”Then don’t make any mistakes.” She stopped in front of a door, giving it a gentle knock to open it.

Inside, a room resembling a research office, shelves full of jars with tiny red worms taking over.

”What’s that?”

”Curiosity also kills.” The servant answered Qingyi’s question.

”These are heartworms, they will lodge in your heart after you eat it. Any thought of betrayal and the worm will devour your heart and destroy you from the inside.”

Qingyi shuddered at those words.

As an avid reader of Xianxia novels in his past life, he naturally knew about those worms.

But the thought of having one inside his own chest immediately made him rethink his life choices.

[The host has nothing to fear, his bloodline will destroy the worm as soon as it enters his body]

The system’s words made him relax a little, but not completely.

He still had to swallow that disgusting thing.

The servant took one of the jars, opened it and took out the worm.

”Open your mouth,” she ordered as the little creature squirmed in her fingers.

Qingyi closed his eyes.

Was there still time to abandon the mission? Was riding on Khaedryss, grabbing Ruyan and getting the hell out of there an option?

That was exactly what Qingyi wanted to do.

Unfortunately, the servant didn’t seem to be very patient.

Grabbing Qingyi’s cheeks, she shoved the worm into his mouth.

The handsome young man had to fight the urge to vomit, his body seized by slight spasms as the creature made its way into his viscera.

Fortunately, this didn’t last long.

His draconic Qi soon began to move, burning the heartworm to pieces.

The servant just made sure that Qingyi had swallowed everything before turning away. ”Come with me, I’ll take you to young lord Xue Mo.”

The handsome young man only coughed a few times before, with trembling steps, accompanying her to one of the courtyards of the mansion, where two men could be seen sitting.

One of these was the young Lord Xue Mo, his handsome, youthful face bearing a big smile as he chatted with another man.

This was an obese man, easily over two hundred kilos of pure fat, devouring a bottle of wine as if he were drinking a glass of cold, refreshing water.

He was the grand elder of the demon cult, Xue Mo’s uncle.

”Ah... this is good, young Lord Xue Mo, hahaha! Truly blessed by the most divine heavenly demon!” The great elder laughed, letting out a great burp as he placed the wine on the table between them.

”But you didn’t call me here just to spoil me with wine of this quality, did you?”

”Indeed not, uncle, I have a favor to ask of you.” Xue Mo spoke awkwardly, pulling out another bottle of wine and handing it to his uncle.

”Speak up, nephew, we’re family. Don’t be ashamed.”

Despite those words, Xue Mo still hesitated for a brief moment before finally speaking, ”I’m going on a hunt in the forbidden forest, when I get back from that hunt, I plan to ask my father to make Ruyan my concubine, I want uncle’s support in this matter.”
