Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 161: Stopped

After he left Vivianʼs office, he obviously had one thing to do. It was to visit Selena.

Before he could meet Selena, there was actually one person standing in his way. It wasnʼt Selenaʼs brother.

It was Alavenya.

It had been almost two weeks since he tricked them, so it wouldnʼt be weird for her to have arrived at the academy. In fact, she was already wearing the school uniform in front of him.

”What is this? Are you trying to show off your uniform?” Nathanʼs expression turned solemn.

Considering the other party had a trace of anger in her eyes, it was obvious what she was planning to say. Instead of playing dumb, Nathan immediately admitted he was the one who did all the work.

Alavenya looked like a changed woman. She was normally wearing less clothes because it would hinder her movement. At the same time, it also showed her well-developed muscles.

After entering the school, the shirt covered her abs, the blouse hid her muscular arms, and the skirt toned down her developed curve.

Still, the fierceness in her eyes remained. The feeling of getting stared at by a beast made Nathanʼs body feel tense.

Alavenya never directed it to Nathan before, so feeling it first hand made Nathanʼs heart beat rapidly.

Alavenya bit her lips. ”You have tricked my father. Do you think I will let you have a peaceful time in this academy?”

”Have I?” Nathan made a playful smile. ”But I have fulfilled my promise to the Dragon King by giving the dragon blood. This way, you can summon a draconian like your father. Instead of directing your anger at me, shouldnʼt you thank me?”

Nathan extended his hand as if giving her a chance to shake his hand. ”Come. Shake my hand. You donʼt have to bow to me or lower your head to express your gratitude. Iʼm a magnanimous person.”

”You…” Alavenya gnashed her teeth. She stomped the ground and came closer, glaring at Nathan.

”Whatʼs wrong? Ah. You must have rejected the dragon blood.” Nathan smirked. ”As I expected, how cute.”

Alavenyaʼs body trembled. She had never thought that it was Nathanʼs plan that made her reject the blood. It was as if she had been playing in his hand this whole time.

At the same time, if she took that blood, it was the same as acknowledging his existence.

Alavenya clenched her hands into fists as if she were trying to punch Nathan.

”Thatʼs not good. You canʼt harm me in this academy, at least not yet.” Nathan chuckled. He annoyed her even further by showing his right cheek and tapping it a few times. ”Here. If you want to hit it. But remember that hitting my cheek will also smear the reputation of your father.”

Alavenya, of course, knew this fact, but Nathan made a truly punchable face, which made it hard for her to hold back.

Seeing her face red from anger, Nathan added, ”Well, it seems my plan doesnʼt work. I wonder what you will do in the future. I recommend you take that dragon blood and summon a draconian because I hope you are getting weaker because of that decision.

”After all, I donʼt want you to summon a monkey king who is Heavenʼs equal.” Nathan grinned.

Alavenya was visibly shaken. This information was priceless. She didnʼt know whether what he said was true or not, but if there was indeed a monkey that strong, even her fatherʼs draconian would be inferior compared to the monkey.

At the same time, if she actually bit this bait, it was the same as admitting she had lost.

Alavenya became even more shaken than she thought. She initially wanted to threaten Nathan and get into his mind so that he wouldnʼt get a peaceful sleep.

However, Nathan completely played her. It was clear Nathan had indeed schemed her father. It was just… she couldnʼt do anything. There were still three months before she could challenge him.

Nathan said, ”I know youʼre going to challenge me in three months, but do you think I will accept it?”

”Are you even a man? You donʼt dare to accept my challenge?” Alavenya gritted her teeth.

”All I see is that you are using your own strength to bully me. You should know that we are one year apart, and you also have the Dragon King to train you. Do you think thatʼs fair?”

”There is nothing fair in this world.”

”In that case, I am no fool to accept something that is not fair.” Nathan shook his head. ”Iʼm unlike you, who is easily manipulated.”

Alavenya bit her lips.

”However, I might accept that challenge if…” Nathan stopped.

”If what? What do you want?” Alavenya glared at him, pressing him.

Nathan simply spoke. ”If the wager is tempting.”

”The wager… What do you want? Just say it!” Alavenya was frustrated. As long as she could beat him, she wouldnʼt lose that wager and could humiliate Nathan at the same time.

With her strength, she had confidence that Nathan wouldnʼt be able to best her.

Nathan raised one finger. ”The building with a courtyard. You are a second year student, so itʼs obvious you have heard about it, right?”

Alavenya had heard about it. Her room was similar to the first-year student, but she definitely could change her room once she made some contributions.

Hence, it was possible for her to achieve all that within the next three months.

”Fine. I will get that building and put it as a wager.”

Nathan smiled. Vivian had just told him about the villa. Nathan used that information to immediately scam Alavenya for it.

It would be a hard battle, but he could get that building as long as he won.

He wanted to add a condition about her not leaving the academy, which was to fulfill her fatherʼs request and to influence her to summon Sun Wukong, but it could wait. He didnʼt want her to think this was a huge trap.

The moment she accepted, Nathan grinned as he said, ”Do you know your father has made a bet with me he will marry his daughter if you end up troubling me in the academy? This way, you canʼt beat me up, or else it will look bad for your family, especially your father.”

”Huh?” Alavenya was so shocked that her jaw fell to the ground.

”Of course, Iʼm joking. Hahaha!” Nathan laughed out loud as he ran away.

”You—!” Alavenya wanted to say something, but the other party was already far away. Her hands clenched so hard that her nails almost made her palm bleed. She wanted to let out that frustration, but there was simply nothing she could do. ”Just you wait! Iʼm going to beat you up in three months!”
