Global Lords: Starting with Halving Recruitment Costs

Chapter 149 Advanced!Advanced!

Chapter 149 Advanced!Advanced!

When Guo Xiuwen saw the silver-ranked attributes of the two soldiers, he didn’t know what to say for a while.

Because the attributes of the two soldiers were all beyond his expectations.

The first is Ban Lei’s attributes.

The opponent’s exaggerated attributes, from the original Bronze-rank general, directly became the king of heads-up.

After all, his skills, whether it is a heavy hit, a throw, or a triple hit, are several times the damage.

If it falls directly on the opponent, at least among the silver-ranked opponents, Guo Xiuwen doesn’t think anyone can withstand it.

If the biggest effect of these three skills is singled out, then the ground slash is definitely a group attack assistant.

With a diameter of 30 meters, such a large range, coupled with a 50% deceleration, Ban Lei can become the backbone in future battles, whether it is pursuit or self-protection.

In addition to the changes in attributes and skills, another change is his racial talent.

The original fury talent has the effect of increasing the attack power of one’s own soldiers by 30%, at the cost of increasing physical consumption by 50%.

But now, it has increased the attack power by 50%, but the consumption has only increased by 30%.

Not only that, even the original coverage rate of 30-50 has now become 50-70%.

The 20% increase in coverage means that a larger number of soldiers can be covered by the rage effect.

If there are traces of Ban Lei’s changes, then the changes of the Frost Giant Wolf have greatly exceeded Guo Xiuwen’s expectations.

As his strength continued to improve, the number of soldiers under him increased.

The first soldier under his command, the Frost Wolf, began to be unable to keep up with the progress.

The Frost Wolf itself is positioned as an auxiliary soldier.

Originally, the main reason for raising the other party’s rank this time was actually feelings.

Guo Xiuwen has a lot of resources in his hands, so naturally he will not be stingy with not giving such an advanced card to the Frost Giant Wolf.

But in fact, he didn’t have much expectation for the advanced Frost Giant Wolf.

In his plan, it was just not to let the first soldier after his arrival fall too far behind.

As a result, the Frost Giant Wolf after the advanced stage, when he observed the opponent’s attributes and skills, did not change much.

Although it is larger than gray wolves of the same order, it weighs more than gray wolves of the same order.

The skill effect has also been increased, but the changes of the Frost Giant Wolf are still normal.

But only the change in the talent of the last race far exceeded Guo Xiuwen’s expectations.

The original group attack talent was gone, replaced by a leadership temperament.

In fact, the effect of leadership temperament is similar to the effect of group attack.

The only change is probably the expansion from the original wolf soldiers to all beast soldiers.

But this change gave Guo Xiuwen hope.

After all, the opponent is still at the silver rank.

Just look at the talent changes of Ban Lei and Jin Jinhu.

As their ranks increase, their talents are enhanced to varying degrees.

From this point of view, if the Frost Wolf continues to improve its level, it is not certain that its talent will be enhanced again.

After getting two unexpected surprises in a row, Guo Xiuwen even hesitated.

He originally planned to use all the remaining silver-level advanced cards on Gray Wolf.

After all, the gray wolf still has a chance to form a wolf knight with the elves.

This is unmatched by other arms.

But now we see the changes of the two unique soldiers, Ban Lei and Frost Giant Wolf.

Guo Xiuwen’s eyes fell on the marginalized water elements, jackal bones, and even goblins, goblins, swamp frogmen, and lizardmen.

He has some expectations, if he raises their rank up.

Will their talent change.

Then grow into the help you need.

Faced with this change, Guo Xiuwen was a little distressed.

Because if he wants to try one by one, it means that he needs to invest all the silver-level advanced cards he currently owns.

It’s not even possible to upgrade all of them, because he only has four advanced cards in his hand.

From this point of view, the number of advanced cards obtained is still not too many.

In such a situation, he could only temporarily suppress this unreliable idea.

After all, it is indeed ahead of most lords in strength now.

But this strength is definitely far behind the aborigines.

He doesn’t want to have a certain advantage so he chooses to wave.

Such an outcome can be preordained.

After all, there is no future for betting on dogs, especially it is obviously irrational to bet on the leading advantage.

So Guo Xiuwen thought about it, and chose to use the four silver-level advanced cards against the four gray wolves.

These four gray wolves were all part of his first batch of ten gray wolves.

After many battles, among all the backbone soldiers, the gray wolf has the most attrition.

Originally, the first batch of ten giant wolves, including the frost giant wolves, happened to be five left.

The remaining five died in the two wild monster siege battles.

Seeing that the gray wolf of the bronze rank was about to be eliminated from the main force, Guo Xiuwen still wanted to pull the original veterans.

But this time, what Guo Xiuwen thought was a surefire thing to advance to the next level turned out to be an accident.

After using the four silver-level advancement cards, only one of the four bronze-level gray wolves successfully advanced to the silver level.

The remaining three gray wolves all failed to advance.

Guo Xiuwen was stunned for a while.

He knows that there is a certain chance of failure when using advanced cards.

But he thinks he has mastered the law of the success of the advanced card.

That is to increase the level of soldiers, and in addition, there are many attributes added to soldiers in his territory.

Each soldier is theoretically much stronger than beings of the same level.

This rule has been well verified when Guo Xiuwen used the advanced card many times before.

Whether it’s a black iron-level advanced card, a bronze-level advanced card, or even several silver-level advanced cards before that.

They all have a 100% success rate, so Guo Xiuwen has forgotten that there is still a possibility of failure with the advanced card.

But just when he was full of ambition, he used the advanced card according to the original rules, but in the end it poured a basin of cold water on him.

Only one of the four cards was successfully advanced, and the success rate was only 25%.

Such a low success rate is not even necessarily real, the real number is likely to be lower than this.

Guo Xiuwen suddenly couldn’t accept this fact.

”how is this possible!”

”This, this is not scientific!”

Guo Xiuwen immediately reviewed and compared carefully, he did not believe that the rules he mastered were wrong.

But the facts are somewhat different from the rules.

So he compared them carefully.

”No, one thing is wrong, that is, the soldiers who used the silver level advancement before were all elite units. They were all upgraded to the full level of LV10 before using cards.

Gray wolves are just ordinary units, so they can only be upgraded to LV5 at most. ”

Guo Xiuwen quickly found the difference between this advanced soldier and the previous advanced soldier.

There is an obvious gap between the two sides in terms of attributes and skills.

”And after all, it is an advancement to the silver level. The difference between the ordinary level and the black iron level was only one or two attribute points.

And from the black iron rank to the bronze rank, the attribute will not exceed ten points.

However, the attribute gap between Bronze Rank and Silver Rank is in their early twenties.

This reason may also be one of the factors affecting advancement. ”

Guo Xiuwen immediately found the second difference.

That is the strength gap between each level.

”It seems that as the strength of soldiers continues to improve, the potential of ordinary-level soldiers will affect their growth.”

”No wonder the system limits the number of silver-rank barracks.”

”I thought before that although the number of soldiers that can be recruited by the high-level barracks every week is too small, the number of high-level soldiers can be increased by using advanced cards.”

”Judging from the current success rate, compared to directly recruiting silver-level soldiers, using low-level soldiers to upgrade is definitely a big pitfall.”

Guo Xiuwen immediately discovered something.

That is, compared to directly recruiting high-level soldiers, continuously training soldiers from low-level, not only consumes more resources, but also has a much lower chance of success.

It’s no wonder that elite and leader-level soldiers are so rare.

Discovering this, Guo Xiuwen was not only not dissatisfied, on the contrary, he was even happier.

After all, compared to other lords, he has a greater chance of improving his barracks and has more barracks.

He was even worried before, if the number of lords that the quartermaster said was true.

So with such a huge base, if some lords choose to join forces, it may be difficult for him to compete with each other alone.

But when he learned that the higher the rank of soldiers, the more difficult it would be to train them, he laughed.

Because a larger base number represents more resource consumption.

And a smaller chance naturally also means that more resources will be wasted.

The opponent consumes more resources, and Guo Xiuwen has a resource management system, but can save resources.

Such an in and out naturally means that he can continue to maintain his advantage.

Thinking of this, even the heartache of losing the three silver-level advanced cards just now disappeared.

Because he thought that he had lost three silver rank advancement cards in order for a soldier to be promoted to silver rank.

Then other lords will definitely consume more silver-level advanced cards.

But soon his expression turned bitter.

Because he suddenly realized that he had forgotten something.

That is, not all lords can have so many silver-level advanced cards like him.

It is basically impossible for a single lord to have such a strong explosion rate.

And he also discovered a hidden message.

That is, after the level of the lord is raised, the harvest of killing enemies of the same level will decrease precipitously.

For example, when he has not advanced to the Bronze Rank, he can gain ten experience points by killing a Bronze Rank enemy.

But after he upgraded to the Bronze Rank, the experience gain immediately became a little guarantee.

The original Bronze rank enemy summon card drop rate was ten to one, twenty to one.

But after he advanced, the drop rate of the Bronze Rank directly became one hundred to one, two hundred to one, and even an exaggerated one thousand to one.

Of course, this trouble may only be felt by Guo Xiuwen himself.

If multiple lords join forces, although their gains are small, the other party may have enough elite soldiers.

Thinking of this, Guo Xiuwen couldn’t help feeling a pain in his heart.

After all, your loss is real.
