Chapter 215 ”Gods and Nobles”

Chapter 215 ”Gods and Nobles”

A few days passed quickly.

There were no major changes in the shelter, all work was going on in an orderly manner, and everyone was doing their own work.

Ye Tianyu didn’t intend to do too much work on this shelter, because he knew very well that the people in this shelter would eventually be classified into the base.

From the very beginning, his purpose of coming here was only for the rumored two outsiders—Lonzel and Kane who are currently being held in a small dark room to study.

Instead of spending time here to manage the sanctuary, it is better to let it develop naturally. After all, before Longzel and the others came here, the sanctuary was still doing well.

The only abnormal situation is that in the past few days, the ogre’s traces have appeared very frequently.

This kind of slime-like monster will always attack the shelter suddenly in the dead of night.

At night, the dark night will give the earth a dark and colorless depth, only the faint moonlight covers this field, but behind the tranquility and peace, there are hidden monsters walking in the dark.

Under the dark night, the field of vision of the guards was also reduced to the extreme.

Even in the open wilderness, it is impossible to see very far away, so the ogre is somewhat clever in attacking at night.

However, they didn’t cause any damage, because Ye Tianyu slept on the floor on the wall of the shelter every night.

The ogres attacking in the dark are like mutton delivered to the door. Although it is a pity that it cannot be delivered directly to the mouth, how could the hunter let these experience babies go?
After dealing with ogres so many times, Ye Tianyu also understood the average strength of these monsters, which was around the third to fourth order.

For the sanctuary fighters whose average strength is only one level, even the weakest of these ogres is impossible for them to match.

But now, they wished that there would be more ogres, and the task of being on duty every night was evaded in every possible way before, and no one wanted to go.

Up to now, the fighters in the sanctuary are almost scrambling to win the task of night duty.

There is no other reason, the joy of gaining experience without using hands is really delicious.

In this way, several days passed peacefully in the shelter, and the detention period of Long Zell and his two men finally came to an end.

In a storage room.

Since Longzell became the ”Lord” of the shelter, he felt that it was impossible to have punitive buildings such as cells in the territory, so not long after he became the ”Lord” of the shelter, he transformed a utility room into into the cell.

Anyone who did not obey the rules and did wrong things would be ruthlessly imprisoned by him and let them reflect on themselves.

As for more serious punishments, there is no such thing. After all, human resources are precious now, and everyone has their own jobs. It is impossible for those who have made mistakes to be punished.

If injured, who will do the original job?
But now, it is his ”lord” who is imprisoned.

The sunlight warmly penetrated through the gaps in the storage room, subtly illuminating the entire storage room, but did not illuminate the entire room.

The original windows were nailed with many wooden boards to block most of the light, and the light that can represent hope should not be given to the detainees here.

Thin rays of light pass through the cracks in the windows, like the freedom that is beyond reach, visible but unattainable, and the prisoners detained here will deeply experience this unimaginable pain.

But Longzel didn’t feel this pain.

Because he already had something to pin his hopes on—the few books that Ye Tianyu gave him.

These books are not too thick. After all, they are all for publicity and education. Most of the contents are concise and clear. As long as you read carefully, it is not difficult to read several books in a few days.

Longzel really didn’t expect that these few books could give him a feeling of ”sudden enlightenment”, like a fool who has no idea was awakened by others, and finally he can open his eyes to see the world.

The power of the people is always infinite.

Gods also need to rely on the power of the people!

Things like aristocrats from the old era should have been lost to the tide of the times. Only a country dominated by the people is a truly free country.

God’s sin of usurping the people’s beliefs and feeding on the people’s spiritual beliefs should have brought them down!

Ordinary people are not only oppressed by the nobles in terms of material, but also unable to be free spiritually. They can only provide faith to gods, just like a drowned person who wants to catch a rootless duckweed. After all, it is a hopeless hope.

Low-level nobles will be squeezed by higher-level nobles, and their beliefs cannot be free.

Because unbelievers cannot enter the River Styx ferryed by the god of death, they will only flow in the river Styx, and finally their souls will only fall down at the waterfall of unbelievers at the end of the river Styx.

It turns out that we have no way to resist in our whole life
Longzel’s eyes were red, and his eyeballs were covered with red blood, but he still opened his eyes wide, reading these books over and over again.

This book of wisdom, which he had never touched before, had a huge impact on his worldview.

Even the previous wish, the life goal of acquiring territory and revitalizing the Dusk family, has become extremely ridiculous at this moment.

That’s right, so what if you revitalize your family?
In the end, it is not just a small knighthood, or a baronetship, which is at a low level of oppressing others.

The gods are always high above, and the kingdom of God hangs high among the brilliant starry sky. Different gods form different gods, which is the same as the business model described in the book.

Ronzel threw the books in his hands aside. The light in the room was not very obvious, so he had to rely on a lamp in the room if he wanted to read.

After all, Ye Tianyu let him come in to study, and he was not tortured, so he was naturally equipped with good light.

Long Zell closed his red eyes and couldn’t help but feel a trace of helplessness and sadness.

”Uncle Kane, what do you think?”

Kane, who was sitting on the chair beside him, also closed the book, showing a wry smile.

”It’s similar to the sentence in the book. Small human beings climbed onto the high platform and saw the shadow called ’truth’ covering the whole world, but they were powerless to make any changes.”

”Master, what are you going to do?”

”Me?” Long Zell smiled bitterly, ”I seem to have no motivation to revitalize the Dusk family. Instead, I want to knock those fucking gods down from above!”

Hearing this disrespectful statement that could be said to be disobedient and insulting before, Kane unexpectedly did not refute it.

Even he himself now feels extremely disgusted with the gods that Wei Wei believed in before.

In the big plane of Fein, the power of gods exists, and everyone will inevitably believe in some gods.

Micro believers and shallow believers can also provide faith.

”It’s time, we should be able to go out.” Kane looked at the timer on the wall and estimated the time.

”That’s good, let’s go, since that person destroyed our previous goal, then he has to give me a new goal!”

”The gods should not usurp the people’s faith in vain, only those who truly serve the people can live forever!”

Longzel took a last look at the books on the table, and finally he took away one of the books called ”On the Gods”.

He stood up with Kane, broke open the door of the storage room, and walked towards the sunlight outside.
