Global Hearings: I Became Qin Shi Huang's Defender

Chapter 128 Provide Wang Mang's historical data! The hearing is full of excitement!

Chapter 128 Provide Wang Mang’s historical data! The hearing is full of excitement!

The eyes of all the defenders were fixed on Lin Feng.

Can Lin Feng really provide historical materials?

These defenders originally did not believe what Lin Feng said.

After all, things like traversers are too far-fetched.

It was precisely because they didn’t believe Lin Feng’s words that after hearing that Lin Feng could actually provide historical materials, their curiosity was instantly aroused, and they all looked at Lin Feng curiously to see what Lin Feng would provide. What kind of historical materials are used to deal with such a shocking thing.

but.

These defenders are also clear in their hearts.

From the beginning to the end, Lin Feng never said that the other party was the time traveler.

And Lin Feng’s tone has always been ”the other party may be a time traveler”.

Therefore, whether this emperor named Wang Mang is a time traveler or not still needs a lot of historical evidence.

After providing historical materials, defenders from various countries will naturally have a certain ability to judge after knowing these historical materials.

”Overseer, I request the use of micro-wormhole transportation capabilities.”

Lin Feng and other voices sounded in the hearing venue.

After a moment.

With the acquiescence of the Atlantean murlocs, Lin Feng officially began to use the carrying ability.

The familiar wormhole space appeared in front of Lin Feng again.

And this time.

On the side of the History Research Office, it seems that preparations have already been made.

After only a short while, historical materials appeared in front of Lin Feng one by one.

It is different from the historical materials submitted before.

This time, what was sent over from the research room were photos one after another.

After all, the identity of a time traveler is too unbelievable. To prove it, an objective amount of historical materials must be provided.

As for these historical materials, the research room has not had time to sort them out, so they can only take pictures of the content on the bamboo slips and pass them on.

It only came over for about ten seconds.

There are dozens of photos in front of Lin Feng, and there are thick piles of them.

About ten more seconds passed.

When there were hundreds of photos in front of Lin Feng, the black hole slowly dissipated.

At the back of each photo, Lin Shoucheng marked Lin Feng in detail.

Lin Feng probably glanced at it.

”Everyone, these historical materials in my hands are just photos taken.”

”Due to the Han Dynasty and the Xin Dynasty period, it has been 2000 years since now, and many unearthed bamboo slips have not had time to sort out in the future, so the historical materials can only be provided in the form of photos.”

”Among them are the biographical history book ”Han Shu Wang Mang Biography” written by Ban Gu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the chronicle ”Hou Han Ji” written by Yuan Hong of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the unofficial history ”Wang Mang Secrets” written by an unknown author, and many folk miscellaneous histories, as well as some ancient Auxiliary historical materials such as playbooks.”

After finishing speaking, Lin Feng did not submit these historical materials, but expressed his own point of view.

”From his birth in 45 BC to his death in 23 AD, Wang Mang was 68 years old.”

Lin Feng first briefly talked about Wang Mang’s life and death.

however,
After hearing this sentence, all the historians immediately showed disdain.

The reason for disdain is naturally because of the words ”the country was subjugated and killed”.

What if, as a time traveler, after becoming the emperor, Guo Zuo didn’t even last long to destroy the dynasty, and he ended up being killed?
With such an ending, is it worthy of being called a time traveler?
Many defenders scoffed.

Lin Feng naturally saw this scene in his eyes.

However, Lin Feng didn’t care about it, but started talking on his own.

”It is also because Wang Mang’s trendy Guozuo has only been in the country for 15 years, so it is often ignored by all of us.”

”Everyone’s suspicion is naturally reasonable.”

”After all, as a time traveler, how can it be possible that Guozuo has only 15 years? It stands to reason that at least under his rule, the thinking of modern people should be combined to make the country more prosperous.”

Many defenders immediately nodded, showing approval.

Lin Feng’s words were exactly what they suspected.

How could it be possible for a dignified traverser to only have 15 years of Guozuo?
The thinking and science and technology of later generations are so many times more advanced than those of more than 2000 years ago.

Even if it only inherits one-tenth of the future generations, it is absolutely impossible for Guozuo to be only 15 years old. ,

At this time,
Lin Feng’s voice came again.

”But to understand Wang Mang’s story, we have to start from the beginning.”

”The background at that time was that the Western Han Dynasty had begun to gradually decline.”

”The Western Han Dynasty began to pass away from the time of Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty, and the power to control the court gradually began to fall into the hands of the Wang family’s relatives group with the campus queen Wang Zhengjun as the core. His older brother Wang Feng monopolizes the power, and the situation in Wuhou’s dynasty is against the Wang clan. Most of them hold high positions, and nine of them have been appointed as marquises, and five of them have served as great Sima.”

”In 45 BC, Wang Mang was born, the second child in her family, and her aunt was the campus queen Wang Zhengjun.”

”The only unfortunate thing is that when Wang Mang was young, his father and elder brother passed away successively.”

”Wang Mang did not live a life of luxury and wealth in his youth. Instead, he was humble, studious, and lived a frugal life. He took care of his mother and served his widowed wife. He was also very filial to his uncles and became a clear stream among many cousins. ”

”In 24 B.C., Wang Feng, who was the chief minister, was seriously ill. The 22-year-old Wang Mang took care of this uncle as if he were his own father. Two years later, before his death, Wang Feng recommended Wang Mang as The servant of the Huangmen also asked Wang Zhengjun to take good care of Wang Mang. So far, Wang Mang has started his official career.”

”All the way up, it didn’t take long to be promoted to Captain Shesheng, which is equivalent to the current level of the army. In the palm of your hand, the position of assistant chief minister fell into the hands of Wang Shang.”

”In 16 BC, Wang Mang’s uncle, Da Sima Wang Shang, made a memorial to Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty, expressing his willingness to give up part of his fief to his nephew. Therefore, the 30-year-old Wang Mang was granted the title of Marquis of the New Capital, and was promoted successively afterwards. From the official to the servant, he became the emperor’s bodyguard and close minister.”

”However, just when people thought that Wang Mang was in a high position and was about to make a big splash.”

”But he never respected himself. He was always courteous to the corporals, honest and simple, and often distributed his own clothes to the diners and common people, so he was deeply loved by the people. Gradually, Wang Mang’s reputation has surpassed those of his uncles.”

Lin Feng roughly explained the process of Wang Mang’s entry into the official career.

however,
After hearing these words, the defenders of those countries all showed disapproving expressions.

According to what Lin Feng said, before Wang Mang became a servant.

At most, it can only be counted as a child of an aristocratic family with excellent character and learning.

Even after becoming a servant, Wang Mang’s actions did not have any performance of a time traveler. If you have to evaluate, you can only evaluate Wang Mang as a good official who is willing to do good and cares about the people. But compared with the time traveler, he is still There is a very large gap.

even.

From these deeds, there is no evidence that Wang Mang is a time traveler.

Lin Feng still talked about Wang Mang’s life on his own.

”In eight years BC, Wang Gen was seriously ill. The 38-year-old Wang Mang was recommended to replace Da Sima. Life is simple.”

”Once a hundred officials came to visit Wang Mang’s mother, and even regarded the poorly dressed old lady as a servant of Wang Mang’s family.”

”One year later, Emperor Cheng of the Han Dynasty passed away, and Emperor Ai of the Han Dynasty succeeded. The families of Empress Dowager Fu and Empress Ding, the grandmothers of Emperor Han Ai, began to gain power gradually. Wang Mang had no choice but to step down as the chief Sima, and has been living in seclusion in the new capital of the fief, shutting his doors.”

”In order not to give others a reason, Wang Mang even forced his second son who had committed murder to commit suicide, which was well received by the people. It is precisely because of this that during Wang Mang’s seclusion, many people and officials complained about Wang Mang and asked him to come back. Under pressure, Emperor Ai of Han had no choice but to follow Wang Mang and return to the capital to serve the Empress Dowager, but he still did not resume his official position.”

”And things turned around in the year BC!”

said here.

Lin Feng’s expression suddenly turned serious.

”Until [-] BC, Emperor Ai of the Han Dynasty passed away, but left no heirs. The Empress Dowager Wang Zhengjun immediately took back the Chuanguo Yuxi after the emperor died.”

”With the recommendation of everyone, the 45-year-old Wang Mang took up the post of Grand Sima again, and supported the nine-year-old Han Ping Emperor as the enthroned, and he acted as an agent of government affairs. But after everything stabilized, Wang Mang’s ambitions were exposed. After coming out, he began to reject others!”

”After he forced Wang Zhengjun to drive away his uncle Wang Li, he began to promote his cronies and kill those who opposed him. A year later, Wang Mang did not blatantly deceive the Queen Mother and conceal his ambitions from the common people. Instead of monopolizing the power, he and his three cronies share the position of the fourth assistant, ranking above the three princes.”

”So far, the Four Houses have monopolized the power, and Wang Mang handles all matters except for the title of knighthood.”

”However, it is at this time!”

”A very suspicious point of suspicion has emerged.”

Lin Feng opened his mouth slowly.

at the same time.

Those defenders also became serious.

After listening to Wang Mang’s life for so long, is it finally the proof that he is a time traveler?

Under everyone’s curious eyes, Lin Feng also made the events at that time public.

”At that time, there was a severe drought across the country, and locust plagues broke out in many places. Wang Mang personally took the lead in donating land and houses to relieve the victims, and implemented preferential policies such as reducing rent and tax in the disaster areas. In Chang’an City, 1000 houses were built for the victims.”

”At that time, it was very common to resettle disaster victims.”

”However, these 1000 houses, whether it is from the housing system, as well as housing audits, and so on.”

”It is almost the same as the low-rent housing politics of later generations!”

”Wang Mang’s reputation among the common people has also reached its peak.”

heard here.

The defenders from various countries suddenly had a hint of surprise in their eyes.

Low-rent housing not only exists in China, but also in other countries.

Although the standards are different, the purpose is the same.

The so-called low-rent housing means that the government provides housing of the nature of social security to families who meet the minimum living standard of urban residents and have housing difficulties in the form of rent subsidies or rent in kind.

The low-rent housing can only be traced back to hundreds of years ago.

But Wang Mang, was able to implement the low-rent housing policy more than 2000 years ago?

But then.

They were relieved again.

After all, in ancient times, there were many ways to relieve disaster victims.

Whether it is distributing food or resettling housing, they are all means of relief for the victims.

Perhaps it was just a coincidence. In order to reduce expenses as much as possible, this kind of housing for disaster victims, which is similar to the low-rent housing of later generations, appeared.

And this time.

Lin Feng’s voice came again.

”However, this is just the beginning.”

”The series of things that Wang Mang did afterwards are even more unbelievable!”

”Under the circumstances at that time, most of the treasury resources were used for the food and clothing of officials, relief for victims of disasters, and palace construction.”

”However, Wang Mang is different.”

”In that era when the feudal system was deeply rooted, Wang Mang actually started to build markets and national reserves on a large scale!”

”We even built [-] houses specially for scholars to attract scholars from all over the world and people with special expertise to settle in Chang’an!”

”Two years later, Emperor Han Ping died of illness. In order to prevent the older new emperor from ascending the throne, so that he could not manipulate the political situation arbitrarily, he supported Liu Ying, who was only two years old, as the crown prince. Wang Mang called himself a fake emperor and acted as the emperor’s government. .”

”At the age of 51, Wang Mang’s power in the court was at the height of the sky, almost equal to the emperor, which aroused opposition mainly from the Liu clan. The rebound was first launched by An Zhonghou Liu Chong, who led more than a hundred people to attack Wancheng. It failed even if the gates were not attacked. In the second year, Zhai Yi, the prefect of Dongjun, revolted and supported Liu Xin, Marquis of Yanxiang, as emperor, and the 23 counties west of Chang’an rebelled.”

”After quelling the rebellion, Wang Mang had the idea of proclaiming himself emperor. In the ninth year AD, Wang Mang forced Wang Zhengjun to hand over the Jade Seal of Chuanguo, and after accepting Ruziying’s abdication, he proclaimed himself emperor and changed the name of the country to Xin.”

”The 54-year-old Wang Mang ascended to the highest position with the wide support of the government and the public, and became the first emperor in Chinese history to become an emperor through abdication. It took eight years to step by step from a false emperor to a real one. emperor.”

”In addition to the aristocratic revolution and civilian revolution in the past dynasties of China, there was another precedent for usurping the throne. After Wang Mang proclaimed himself emperor, he adopted a series of measures to benefit the people. Tian replaced private land, slaves and maidservants were renamed private property, and like Wang Tian, they were not allowed to be bought or sold.”

”And all kinds of historical data show that.”

”Wang Mang’s reform has another name in later generations.”

”That is, land nationalization!”

Lin Feng’s voice echoed throughout the civilized court.

And this time.

On the faces of those defenders, there was an unprecedented calmness!

Blue Star, although the history is missing.

However, due to the relatively recent history of modern history, the defenders of these countries are relatively familiar with it.

The land is state-owned, the system.

It was proposed by a great man who influenced the world about 200 years ago.

It’s just that what he put forward is just a theory.

Until now, there are very few countries that have realized the nationalization of land in the entire Blue Star.

however,
More than 2000 years ago, Wang Mang actually put it into practice!
