Chapter 96 Fangzhou City

Chapter 96 Fangzhou City

’woohoo’

There was a sound of pulling gun bolts all around. Since kung fu can’t beat you, let’s use firepower to suppress you.

”stop!”

Suddenly there was a loud roar in the distance, and then two groups of people rushed to the scene.

”Lu Yuan!”

”Brother Li!”

Lu Yuan was also taken aback when he saw who was leading the charge. It was Li Wanlin, the undercover policeman they had sent away earlier.

But at this time he was dressed in a military uniform, and he should have joined the army.

There are more than [-] soldiers behind him, and it seems that their military rank is not low.

On the other side of him was a green-bearded man in a black combat uniform, who was looking at him with a sinister expression on his face.

Bai Yu, who had just been bounced away by him, was holding his wrist, standing next to the man with a face full of resentment and whispering in a low voice.

Obviously, he was explaining the history of his group to that person.

”What happened here?”

Li Wanlin asked Lu Yuandao, and Lu Yuan told Li Wanlin what happened just now.

Li Wanlin also frowned when he heard it, and then turned his head to look at the man and said.

”Section Chief Cheng, can you people in the Special Operations Section pay attention to the way you do things?”

”Although this is an extraordinary period, you can’t always be so domineering, can you?”

Section Chief Cheng, with a green beard and a crew cut, suddenly looked a little confused.

”Captain Li, what you’re saying is that it’s really because we didn’t educate our subordinates enough, and we acted too hastily.”

”We are wrong this time. Is this your friend? How do you call it? I will apologize to you for my men.”

Lu Yuan hurriedly cupped his hands: ”Don’t dare, dare not, we also made mistakes before, and please become section chief Haihan.”

Lu Yuan is not a first-timer in society, he knows why this section chief will change his face.

On the one hand, it was because of Li Wanlin, and on the other hand, it must also be because he couldn’t figure out his own details.

Anyway, B has already installed it, so he can’t put it down now, he has to carry it.

His attitude at this time was lukewarm, in the eyes of the section chief, he looked very unpredictable.

”Oh, look at the fuss this has caused, Mr. Lu must not be an ordinary person.”

”Didn’t our Fangzhou City just issue a regulation on the priority settlement of special talents? You see, the people on my side don’t understand the rules and regulations enough, which caused the misunderstanding.”

”Or I think that’s it, let’s conduct a special assessment, and then we will do something special.”

As soon as Li Wanlin heard what Section Chief Cheng said, his frown immediately relaxed.

”fair enough!”

Then he explained to Lu Yuan in a low voice.

It turns out that since the outbreak of the end of the world, some human beings have begun to awaken their abilities one after another.

Now both the military and the government are recruiting these people, and they will be treated as special groups of people.

Naturally, there are preferential treatments, such as being able to keep some of the equipment you carry.

Like them you can keep guns, and vehicles.

If the ability is very outstanding, there will be a limited allocation of housing, and the distribution of supplies will also be greatly advantageous.

And if you can go out to perform tasks and perform well, you can also get the same preferential treatment for your family.

This is typical of the new military merit promotion system introduced recently, but Lu Yuan is very satisfied with what he heard.

”It just so happens that there is an assessment tomorrow, so let them take the assessment together tomorrow.”

Li Wanlin turned around and said to Section Chief Cheng, Section Chief Cheng nodded: ”That’s it.”

Chief Wan led his people to evacuate, and Li Wanlin called Lu Yuan and the others to drive to the barracks where he was stationed.

It turned out that his main task now was to lead a company to maintain law and order at the entrance of the tunnel and gather suitable sources of troops.

For example, soldiers who lost contact with the team, or retired soldiers, will be required to return to the team immediately and be demobilized here.

Section Chief Cheng and the others are currently stationed at Jinyue Mountain Gate in Fangzhou City.

”After Junjie and I came back, we were drafted into the army, but he went to the navy...”

”These sects have only recently appeared. At present, every safe zone in the country has a mountain gate like this.”

”I don’t know what they were doing before. Anyway, they suddenly appeared after the end of the world, and I don’t know how they communicated with the higher authorities. Anyway, they acquiesced in their existence.”

”And each of their mountain gates does have some unique skills, and they are all anecdotes and strange arts. They really helped us a lot in the process of regaining the lost ground.”

”So now such a strange situation has formed. The main task of our military is to maintain law and order, gather human beings, collect resources, and accumulate strength.”

”Sometimes when there are special combat missions, they need the cooperation of their special operations department personnel.”

The dinner was brought over by Li Wanlin, a chowder made of various canned foods.

To be able to eat these in the last days is already a very rich meal.

While several people were eating, Li Wanlin introduced them to the current situation in Fangzhou City.

The gathered humans were basically divided into several large groups.

Skilled workers are sent to various factories.

Recently, various factories in Fangzhou City have sprung up like mushrooms after rain.

For those without skills, some qualified ones should be selected and trained before entering the factory.

There are also some old, weak, sick and disabled, who will be arranged to farm or go fishing.

As a seaport city, Fangzhou City is not too short in terms of supplies.

However, considering that the situation may be even worse in the future, the military control and material rationing system is still strictly implemented.

”Tomorrow’s assessment, you have to be careful. This will affect whether you can enter the system in the future...”

Sure enough, the system is everywhere, Lu Yuan sighed.

”After the assessment, there are two options. On the one hand, you can enter the Special Operations Section of Section Chief Cheng.”

”On the other hand, you can also choose to join us.”

Li Wanlin looked at Lu Yuan at this time, with a playful smile on his face.

Lu Yuan raised his head: ”Why does the military also need us?”

”Ha, of course, not only are they needed, but they are also eager for talents! We also have a special team here!”

Lu Yuan suddenly understood why Li Wanlin was so enthusiastic about him.

’boom’

Suddenly a gunshot broke the tranquility of the camp, and Li Wanli stood up abruptly.

A soldier broke into the tent panting: ”Company commander, the corpses are here.”

”You guys rest here for now, I’ll go out and take a look.”

Without waiting for Lu Yuan to reply, Li Wanlin led the people out of the tent.

Soon, the sound of gunshots and explosions like popping beans came to mind outside.

It was as if a pot had exploded in the entire camp. Countless people rushed out of the camp and squeezed in the direction of the tunnel.

No matter how earnestly the soldiers in front tried to dissuade them, these people didn’t stop, flocking to the two tunnels like crazy.

But as soon as he rushed to the front of the tunnel, he collided with two torrents of steel rushing out of the tunnel.

Those who rushed to the front were crushed into a meat paste on the spot.

Tanks and armored vehicles came out of the tunnel one after another, and the scene that was like a frying pan immediately fell silent.
