Chapter 69 69, upgrade again

Chapter 69 69, upgrade again

At the same time, Zhou Jie was constantly advancing in the forest.

Xiaobai was standing on his shoulder.

In his hand, he held the extremely sharp air blade battle axe.

As he was walking, he suddenly realized something was wrong.

He twitched his nose.

Then he quickly arched his waist. He tightened his grip on the handle of the axe.The whole person entered a state of combat readiness.

”There is a smell of blood! There should have been a battle nearby. Whether it is a beast or a human, it is extremely dangerous!”

Zhou Jie, slowed down his pace, carefully and carefully observed the surrounding environment.

Always be ready to launch your own attack.

Suddenly, after passing through a bush.

A pool of blood appeared in front of him.

”The blood has coagulated and turned black. I’m afraid it was left 1 to 2 hours ago!

Moreover, the surrounding bushes have broken marks, indicating that this battle took place here. ”

He walked a few more steps, and suddenly, a headless corpse appeared in front of him!

This person was the strong man killed by Nina!

Zhou Jie didn’t expect that he would be allocated near the same resource point as ruthless people like black Mark and Nina!

”The incision on the neck of the corpse is extremely smooth, flat, and cut in two. The person who killed this guy had an extremely sharp weapon...”

Zhou Jie covered his mouth.

Forcibly suppressed the churning feeling in his stomach.

This was the first time he saw human beings up close since the wild world he traveled to.

However, what he saw was a headless corpse.

Although he killed the wolf.

seen blood.

But the first time he faced a corpse of the same kind, it still made him feel sick.

”It’s about ten kilometers away from the resource point. Survivors around here will become denser and denser. This kind of battle is unavoidable. I’m afraid more and more people will die near here. If you are not prepared, always be vigilant around your surroundings If so, it is very likely that the headless corpse will be me...”

The appearance of this corpse made Zhou Jie more vigilant.

It also made him fully understand that this time, the danger of resource competition, if you don’t kill others, others may kill you.

The offline meeting of survivors is absolutely dangerous!
After leaving the corpse, I walked again, about a kilometer or so.

Zhou Jie looked at his bracelet.

[Hint: The countdown to the appearance of the treasure chest is 23:15:25! 】

”Probably around this time tomorrow, the treasure chest will appear. There is still one day tomorrow, so you can hurry. First, set up camp within ten kilometers of the treasure chest!
If the distance is too close, even with the camouflage of the silver-level tarpaulin, it may be encountered by other survivors.

I should have avoided the fight until I found the treasure chest.

Although I have a lot of excellent equipment and abilities, if someone like Ou Huang is lucky and accidentally kills me, wouldn’t I be at a big loss? ”

I found a fairly secluded place.

Cut down the trees there to reveal a clearing just right for the log cabin.

Then Zhou Jie released the catalog and covered the tarpaulin by the way.

Soon the wooden house blended with the surrounding environment, if not for the extremely close distance. It was impossible to tell that there was a room here.

”Xiaobai, we have to be more vigilant tonight. After all, we are very close to the treasure chest. Survivors may pass by our hut at any time...”

Zhou Jie patted Xiaobai’s head as he spoke.

”Meow!” Xiaobai called twice casually and perfunctorily.

It seems that Zhou Jie’s words have not been heard in her heart at all. Now she only thinks about what to eat tonight...

Taking out the grill and meat, Zhou Jie grilled again.

This time they ate especially richly.

After all, the battle is imminent, and you must eat well the day before to provide yourself with enough energy.

Moreover, if you are unlucky and get killed, you can also be a full ghost, can’t you?
After dinner, Zhou Jie lay directly on top of Simmons in the Gold Bureau, ready to rest.

Even when he was sleeping, he leaned against the edge of the bed with his air blade battle axe.

Once there is any movement, he can get the weapon immediately when he gets up.

But maybe it was camouflaged with a silver-grade tarpaulin.Or maybe the location Zhou Jie chose to set up his camp was more secluded.

There was no disturbance in one night.

No man, nor beast, found his cabin.

the next day.

Seven o’clock in the morning.

Zhou Jie opened his eyes on time.

Looked at the bracelet.

[Hint: The countdown to the appearance of the treasure chest is 9:56:13! 】

That is to say, the treasure chest will appear after 4 o’clock in the afternoon!
”Very good! There are still more than nine hours, I can prepare! Ten kilometers, I only need two hours to walk. When the time comes, go to the resource point and see if you can find some hidden places to ambush!”

Zhou Jie put away the wooden house, and then prepared to leave.

”That’s right! I haven’t signed in yet.”

”System! Sign in!”

”Ding! Congratulations to the host for successfully signing in. Get a pet upgrade coupon x1!”

Pet upgrade volume?
Zhou Jie was taken aback for a moment, it has been a long time since he got such a thing.

At the beginning, he signed in and got one, so he directly upgraded Xiaobai.

After Xiaobai ate the silver-level Sydney, he also automatically upgraded.

Now he got another upgrade roll, which should have been the turn of the golden unicorn.

But well.

The golden unicorn is now protecting Suning.

Therefore, this upgrade roll should be used on Xiaobai again.

”Meow!!!” After seeing the upgrade roll, Xiaobai licked his lips.

Seems very excited.

Being able to upgrade is also extremely tempting for her.

At the beginning, she was upgraded from rare to inherited, and then evolved through the silver-level Sydney, and gained special abilities.

If it is upgraded again this time, it will become an artifact-level pet.

Even higher than the golden unicorn.

After all, the divine beast golden unicorn is also at the inheritance level. If they are at the same level, he will still be suppressed by the blood of the unicorn.

And if she reached a higher level, it would be enough for her to get rid of the suppression of her blood, and even be able to directly look down on the golden unicorn!
How could this make her not excited? !

”Xiaobai, do you want to upgrade?” Zhou Jie asked.

”Meow meow!”

——That’s right, master, please upgrade me quickly! ! !
Xiaobai nodded vigorously.

An artifact-level pet will definitely undergo a qualitative change!
”Okay, let’s upgrade it for you! System, use the upgrade volume to upgrade Xiaobai!”

Zhou Jie ordered to the system.

”Ding! Pet upgrade starts! Consume pet upgrade coupon x1!”

”Reminder: When the pet is upgrading, don’t let her get hurt, otherwise the upgrade may fail, and even life may be in danger!”

That upgrade ticket disappeared immediately, turning into a golden light, scattered on Xiaobai’s body.

Xiaobai immediately showed an excited expression, then slowly closed his eyes, and fell asleep directly.

Zhou Jie knew that she was upgrading right now.
