Although a day had passed, the middle-aged couple in the hospital were still in a state of fear.

Under Lin Yi’s threat, the private hospital had already closed to prevent anyone from disturbing them.

Other than Lin Yi’s fierceness, what scared them even more was the things stored in the car.

” When I went out just now, I saw a lot of blood in their car. There was even a gun!” The doctor’s wife said.

“I guess they’re not good people!”

“I actually saw it a long time ago…”

The doctor said fearfully, “But I didn’t dare to tell you.”

“They must not be good people. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have those things. Do you think they will kill us when they leave?”

“I-I don’t know…”

“Wiry don’t we call the police?” The doctor’s wife said.

“Let’s go to the police station now. With the police protecting us, we’ll be safe.”

The middle-aged doctor gritted his teeth. “Let’s go and call the police now!”

Night gradually fell, and the scorching sun sank into the distant mountains.

The brilliant sunset cast a golden glow over the city, enveloping it in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

“Boss, I don’t think the leg injury is a big problem. Let’s go.” Zhou Liang said.

“Wait a minute.”

It had only been more than ten hours since he finished the surgery. Lin Yi didn’t dare to let Zhou Liang travel too much. After all, there was still some distance to Cologne, and he wanted to the latter’s condition to stabilize first.

“This place is not as safe as Cologne. Our people should be reaching Cologne soon. Once we meet, we will be safe.” Zhou Liang said.

“Moreover, even if I can keep my leg, it will be crippled. You don’t have to worry so much. I’m satisfied I was able to risk my life with you this time.”

Lin Yi pondered for a moment. What Zhou Liang said made sense.

Although he could not travel long distances due to his injuries, he still needed high-end medicine in Cologne.

“Wait for me here for a while. I’ll go buy some things and we’ll leave after dark!”

“I observed the place during the day. The people here seem to be quite simple.

It won’t be easy to get any guns.”

Zhou Liang said with a smile. He had already guessed what Lin Yi wanted to do.

Lin Yi also smiled. “If it doesn’t workout, let’s go to the police station. It’s a long way to Cologne, so we have to prepare.”

“I’ll pack up too. We’ll leave when you come back.”

“Just lie on the bed obediently and don’t move around.”

“Alright, I’ll tell Boss Liu that we’re leaving and to come over to pick us up in advance.”

“Okay.”

Lin Yi responded and jumped out of the window instead of the front door.

His main purpose for going out this time was to gather some guns. He didn’t have much ammunition left right now. If an accident happened on the way, it wouldn’t be enough to deal with an emergency. He had to prepare some more.

However, Chepopur was a quiet and peaceful small city. Although the people here were not rich, their lives were very comfortable.

Although there were security issues, most of them remained at the level of small brawls and fights. Unlike in other cities, it wasn’t common to see people engaging in shootouts on the streets.

Getting a gun in such a place seemed unlikely, and the only possible source would be the police.

After leaving, Lin Yi wandered the streets, using his remaining money to buy a sun hat, and then strolled around the small town.

As he walked, he couldn’t help but wonder why he hadn’t seen any police officers patrolling the area.

“Hey, brother!”

Just as Lin Yi passed a small alley, he unexpectedly heard someone speaking behind him. Two young men in vests and slippers stood behind him.

Seeing the two hooligans, Lin Yi raised an eyebrow and asked,

“Were you calling me?”

“Yes, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a Terran person around here. Are you from Rania or Sunrise Land? Or are you from Huaxia?”

“I’m from Huaxia. Why?”

Upon learning Lin Yi’s identity, the two men exchanged a glance, a hint of excitement in their eyes.

“Nothing much, we’ve heard that Huaxian people are quite wealthy and wanted to see if it’s true.”

“We’re not that rich, but we’re probably better off than you.”

Lin Yi replied calmly, not wanting to engage in a lengthy conversation. He wanted to get this over with and leave under the cover of darkness.

“In that case, I want to borrow some money from you.”

The man in the black vest said,

“Give us all your money. That way, we’ll be friends. If you encounter any problems here in the future, we can help you.”

Lin Yi scratched his head, feeling that this small city was really harmonious.

He actually made robbery sound so refreshing and refined.

He was also quite polite.

“Pardon me for asking, but are you guys trying to rob me?”

“No, no, no. We wouldn’t do that.”

The two of them walked towards Lin Yi and patted his shoulder.

“We just want to borrow some money from you. We’ll pay you back later.”

“But I don’t want to lend you any money.”

“That’s not possible. You have to lend it to us because we’ll protect you in the future.” The man in the black vest pointed into the depths of the alley and said.

“If you don’t want to borrow it, we’ll take you in there for a chat.”

“There’s no need to go through so much trouble. Just say it here.”

The two of them looked at each other and realized that Lin Yi was unwilling to compromise. Their expressions could not help but turn cold.

The man in the vest took out a fruit knife from his pocket and pointed it at Lin Yi.

“If you don’t want to lend it to us, we might not let you go.”

Piack!

Lin Yi waved his hand and slapped the man in the black vest in the face. The latter fell to the ground and covered his face, his eyes filled with confusion.

He did not expect this Huaxian man to dare to attack him. This was his territory!

As he thought of this, the man in the black vest got up from the ground and rushed towards Lin Yi.

At the same time, his companions rushed over and prepared to attack Lin Yi together.

Lin Yi’s eyes narrowed, revealing a hint of coldness.

“Don’t f*cking waste my time!”

As soon as he finished speaking, Lin Yi kicked. The man in the black tank top was sent flying and hit the wall behind him!

Whoosh!

Smoke and dust fell from the impact area, showing how strong Lin Yi was.

Then, Lin Yi grabbed the other person’s hair and threw him at the wall!

A blood-curdling scream sounded. His companion’s head was bleeding as he rolled on the ground and howled loudly.

“How dare you attack us? I’ll call the police now. The police will kill you!”

“Call the police?”

Lin Yi rolled his eyes. Wiry didn’t he think of this just now?

It didn’t matter if he couldn’t find them. He would just let them take the initiative to come over.

This role-reversal plan was pretty good.
