Global Cataclysm: Starting with a 1000-acre survival base

Chapter 520 The Weakness of Bugs

”Damn bug, how could it be so powerful?” Wu Ya muttered to herself.

”My lord, if we flying insects also have the ability of this kind of insect, wouldn’t we not have to run away?”

Wuya froze for a moment, her eyes lit up.

If the Flying Insects possessed the ability of such insects, they would not have to be afraid of the Haituo people, and they would have every chance of winning the final victory.

These bugs are both a disaster and an opportunity for them.

After thinking for a while, Wuya decided to leave the submarine, catch some bugs and come back to experiment.

”My lord, let’s enter the ocean, there are still many bugs around here.”

Wuya nodded, and told the flying insects under her to prepare the capture tools.

Soon after Wuya entered the sea, she kept diving.

Gradually, Wuya discovered that the movements of these bugs became slower and slower, and when they dived to a certain depth, they stopped following.

This was an opportunity for Wuya. She walked out of the submarine with a group of flying insect guards, took the initiative to attract these terrifying insects, and caught them one by one.

Worrying about these bugs escaping, Wuya directly ordered the wings of all the bugs to be broken off.

The wings of these bugs are as sharp as alloys. When flying at high speed, they are like a sharp meat grinder blade, which can easily cut through the armored shell of the armored vehicle.

After breaking, the worms can’t fly, but they still have a sharp mouth.

However, this poses little threat to Wuya and the others.

After catching thousands of bugs, Wuya selected a group of excellent flying bugmen and asked them to eat these bugs.

After many attempts, the flying insects integrated the genes of these insects, and grew extremely sharp wings, and became smaller and more insect-like.

Not only was Wuya not afraid, but she was very excited and asked her to continue to breed more excellent flying insects.

After dozens of generations, the newly born flying insects are no longer afraid of insects, and fully possess the ability of such terrifying insects, and can directly catch and devour them.

Most importantly, these flying insects also possessed a terrifying reproductive ability, which quickly expanded the number of flying insects to tens of thousands.

Wuya has re-established a base on an offshore reef. It is not very big, but it is enough to accommodate all the current flying insects.

This gave Shi Kong and Carlo, who were about to give up, hope again.

Maybe this time it can really come back.

Thus, Shi Kong contacted Wuya excitedly.

”Hahaha, Wuya, you’ve done a good job, but this time we can’t be impulsive anymore. We need to accumulate energy, and when the number of flying insects reaches one million or ten million, we will wipe out the Haituo people in one fell swoop.”

Wuya: ”...”

Wasn’t it because you wanted to carry out your orders?

Although she held her breath in her heart, Wu Ya didn’t dare to say it out.

”Lord Shi Kong, don’t worry, I will definitely wait until I am fully sure before acting this time.”

On the other side, after Shiyuan City was destroyed, Queyan City where Taxi was located was also attacked by bugs.

Seeing the worms rushing in, Tassie was also taken aback.

This is more serious than he expected.

”Damn it, why are there so many bugs?”

Taxi quickly ordered to resist the insects with all his strength, and the mosquitoes led by Wen Tao were the first to bear the brunt, using various incendiary bombs to bombard the surging insect sea.

But it can only slow down the impact speed of the bugs, and cannot stop the bugs.

”Contact me Haikuo and ask if it has found the weakness of these bugs.” Tassie said anxiously.

If Bird Yan City was destroyed by these bugs, his loss would be serious.

Haikuo, who was busy in Xintuo City, immediately ran over to make a video call with Taxi.

”Master Taci, according to our current research findings, this kind of bug is afraid of low temperature.

At about ten degrees below zero, their moving speed will slow down by 80.00%, at about twenty degrees below zero, they will cease to move, and below thirty degrees below zero, they will freeze to death.

Therefore, the effect of using ice bombs will be better than that of incendiary bombs. ”Hai Kuo said.

”I don’t have many ice bombs in stock here, is there any other way?” Taci frowned.

”You can also use strong acid. This kind of bug is particularly afraid of acid, and will run away when it smells strong acid!”

Immediately, Taxi mobilized a flying brigade of Haituo people and splashed strong acid in the air.

The plane took off in Queyan City and accelerated its flight.

Groups of bugs swarmed in, as if they were going to submerge the plane in the sea of bugs.

Tassie quickly used ice bombs to prevent the bugs from approaching.

Ice bombs exploded in the air one after another, and the temperature dropped suddenly. A large number of bugs couldn’t stand the low temperature and retreated one after another.

The bugs, who had no time to retreat, were frozen into ice lumps and fell from the sky.

Under the cover of ice bombs, the plane kept climbing.

This kind of bug can only fly up to about 3000 meters, and it can’t catch up with the plane at all, so it has to give up in the end.

The plane flew over the bugs and sprayed strong acid towards the sea of bugs.

Strong acid fell like rain, and the insects ran away in a hurry after smelling it.

The concentration of the strong acid used by Tasi is not very high, but for these bugs, it is deadly venom, and they will die if they touch it.

Immediately, large pieces of insects fell from the sky, like a rain of insects.

Seeing this scene, Taci breathed a sigh of relief, and finally resisted the attack of the bugs.

Next, as long as the aircraft is continuously used to splash strong acid, it can solve the problem of preventing these bugs from approaching.

Taci ordered the construction of a factory in Queyan City to survive ice bombs and strong acids in large quantities.

After stabilizing the situation, Taci and the bugs entered a stalemate.

Although the bugs suffered heavy losses, they still refused to leave, and launched another wave of offensives. For more than ten days in a row, after destroying a group of bugs, another group would come up.

There was a thick layer of bug corpses on the ground. Taci asked the guards to pick up some and found that the organs in the bugs were all corroded to varying degrees.

After resisting the bugs, Tacily mobilized the satellites to find the whereabouts of the flying bugs.

In the command room, a clear satellite shot was displayed on the big screen.

The magma spewing situation gradually improved.

But the black sea of insects gradually spread across the entire planet.

Taxi can be sure that almost all cities have been destroyed, even Haituo City and Gray Wolf City, which he abandoned, are now in ruins.

Only in the colder arctic region, there is no sound of this kind of bug.

Ice Bear City is hidden under the thick ice and snow, and has not been attacked by insects, and Xintuo City, which is deeper, is also intact.

It can be said that apart from the Flying Insect Man, what Tassie is most worried about is how to resist the disaster.

If the environment of this planet continues to deteriorate, he can only evacuate here and flee to outer space in the future.

Therefore, Taxi asked Xintuo City to seize the time to develop large spaceships while surviving a large number of robot guards.

The robot guards are used to make up for the shortage of Haituo people. Only when the number of robots reaches a certain level can Taxi be able to deal with the flying insects and deter the Dimu people, gray werewolves and mosquito people inside.

After the insect plague, another disaster came, the magnetic field of the planet changed, various electronic equipment had problems of varying degrees, and many communication equipment could not be used.

Immediately afterwards, extreme weather such as hurricanes and ultra-low temperature cold snaps broke out.

Taxi could only stay in Queyan City and not go out, and for a while, she couldn’t care less about looking for the Flying Insect Man.

The competition has reached the late stage, and Yang Yuan took the initiative to contact Su Yuan.

”Mr. Su, we met flying insects and were attacked by them.”
