Global Cataclysm: Starting with a 1000-acre survival base

Chapter 420 Bearman's Lake City

Soon, the ice lake appeared in front of him, and Su Xiaoyu directly drove the amphibious chariot into it.

And behind him, another meow star was captured by a strange beast.

This icy lake is much bigger than what Su Xiaoyu saw, most of it is hidden under the thick ice.

Unable to go out for the time being, Su Xiaoyu had no choice but to count the remaining cats, trying to find a place to stay.

There were 18 cats, and in a blink of an eye, there were only 11 left, and the other cats were all dead.

Su Xiaoyu felt a little uncomfortable, but he didn’t think too much about it. It was important to perform the task.

After reconnaissance, she found that there were not many bears stationed in the bear city, far less than the number of participants.

If it is said that they are all dead, she does not believe it.

In the battle between the dwarves and the bears, the bears did not suffer many casualties, and the previous disasters did not hurt the bears too much.

So where have all the bears gone?
Su Xiaoyu has not found any clues so far.

Just as she was wandering around the center of the frozen lake with the cat guards, a huge city suddenly appeared in front of her.

Su Xiaoyu was stunned for a moment, then asked the cat guards to retreat.

I saw bear guards in amphibious combat uniforms walking this way.

It seems that the Xiongren have already made other preparations and have been showing weakness to the outside world.

Su Xiaoyu and the cat guards quietly reconnaissance.

The city at the bottom of the lake where the bears were found is different from that of the cats, in that it is in a semi-closed state.

Because bears have no gills and cannot breathe underwater, the cities of bears are covered by a kind of foam sponge. There is no water in the city, which is no different from the ground. Bears can live freely.

Su Xiaoyu estimates that there are probably five or six bear people living here, and there are also a large number of robots.

Bearman technology is also much more advanced than previously expected.

Su Xiaoyu found a safer place, used communication equipment, and contacted Su Yuan.

”Master, I discovered a big secret of the bear people. We always thought that the octopus people hid it very deeply, but the bear people hide it even deeper!”

”Sure enough, since the beginning of the competition, there is no civilization that has been eliminated, and there is no simple one. Tell me, what did you find?”

Su Xiaoyu told Su Yuan the general story.

Su Yuan frowned and thought for a while.

He really underestimated the bear man before, thinking that the bear man was beaten so badly by the dwarves that he had no ability.

Unexpectedly, the strength displayed by the bear people is all fake, or it can be said to be abandoned bait.

Xiongren really hides his strength and has been developing steadily in secret.

If Su Yuan really led the team to kill the octopus people and swept other cities, the bear people might not be able to resist.

”Su Xiaoyu, find a way to capture a few bear guards and control them. We need to understand the strength of the bear city at the bottom of the lake!”

”no problem!”

After the call was over, Su Xiaoyu dispersed the cats and continued to spy on the bears.

Bear people will have a patrol guard out every half hour to patrol.

There will also be a patrol team on the lake.

After investigation, Su Xiaoyu discovered that the entrance to the city at the bottom of Xiongren Lake was hidden on a thick iceberg.

The entrance here is very large, which is convenient for large armored vehicles and chariots to enter and exit.

But it is very difficult to enter the bear city from here.

There are two entrances and exits at the bottom of the lake, but the trained bear guards will only open the gate after verifying their identity every time they enter and exit.

Su Xiaoyu can’t use nano-robots for reconnaissance now, nor can he use camouflage mechs that exceed the technology of cats.

The only way that can be used is to use the meow star virus to control the bear guards to go in and observe the situation inside the city.

So, Su Xiaoyu set up an ambush at the place where the bear guards would pass through every training session.

It didn’t take long for a patrol guard team of five bearmen to come over.

Su Xiaoyu pinpointed the timing and asked the cat to use the tranquilizer bomb.

This special bomb didn’t make too much noise when it exploded, but the anesthetic it released could quickly captivate the bear guards.

There was a muffled sound, countless bubbles boiled, and the bear guards fell down one after another.

Su Xiaoyu rushed forward immediately with the cat guards.

The bear guard did not lose consciousness, but fell into a state of general weakness.

After using the meow star virus to control these bear guards, Su Xiaoyu distributed a bottle of meow star virus potion to each bear guard separately.

Then let the cats control these bear guards to return to the bear’s lake bottom city.

Next, you need to expand the scope of control.

Use these bear guards to control more bears.

Su Xiaoyu’s target is the bear squad leader, the leadership, and even the commander in chief of the bear.

At this time, Xiong Shan, the commander-in-chief of the bear people, was inspecting the research institute.

Xiongshan is very smart. He made a detailed plan before the competition started. He first wiped out all the nearby cities that threatened the bearman, and then moved away all the materials and technological materials to build the bearman’s lake bottom city.

After the city at the bottom of the lake was built, the bear people were divided into two parts by him.

The other part is in charge of the bear man’s deputy commander-in-chief, who reports to him the situation of the outside world from time to time, and other bear men are not allowed to communicate with each other.

In other words, the bear people outside don’t know what the bear’s lake bottom city has developed into.

And the bear people living in the city at the bottom of the lake don’t know the outside world either.

Unless the bear people outside were completely wiped out, or the competition had reached the stage of deciding the winner, Xiongshan didn’t plan to go out.

”Everyone, can we speed up our research and development? Amphibious chariots are flying all over the sky outside, and laser weapons are about to appear. We have just started. Do you want us to be wiped out?”

”My lord, we have been working overtime day and night, and we have never left the institute except for meal time!”

The researchers of these bear people are very poor. Ever since the bear people’s lake city was built, they have been squeezed by the bear mountain, and they have been lying about how fast they are developing outside.

”That’s because you are stupid. If you are smarter and develop faster than the outside world, I can give you a holiday every day and let you sleep!”

With a gloomy face, Xiong Shan swept across the bear people present.

The bears here have a characteristic, bald and always have dark circles.

No one dared to refute Xiong Shan, and they all lowered their heads.

After Xiong Shan finished cursing, he walked out of the research institute angrily.

While walking, he also asked his confidants around him.

”Are the mines at the bottom of the lake going to be hollowed out?”

”Yes, my lord, if we want to continue to develop, we must mine ores from other places.

”Hey, the few spare mining spots are easy to be detected by the outside world, so you can find out if there are other ore veins around!”

”Yes, my lord!”

”Be careful to keep it secret, send ordinary robots when you go out!” Xiong Shan warned again.

After Xiongshan left, the Xiongren researchers in the laboratory dared to go to lunch in batches.

In the city at the bottom of the lake, the bears all ate in the cafeteria.

Divided by region, there are a total of more than a dozen large canteens.

After Su Xiaoyu learned about this situation through the controlled bear guards, he wanted to find the next batch of control targets in the cafeteria.

Researcher Ursine is one of her main targets.

Because these people can often see the bear people’s leadership, if they can infiltrate the high-level, they can get more information about the bear people’s lake city.

Under the control of the cat, the bear guards walked towards the bear researcher.

”Brother, are you usually busy? I see you are in a hurry to eat!”

”Hey, it’s not just for eating? There are time limits for sleeping and going to the toilet. Our life is worse than that of robots!”
