Global Beast Taming: Only I can summon Chinese mythical beasts!

Chapter 202 Team 6, Weird Clues

When Su Qin just walked in, he heard hoarse and painful wailing from the hospital bed covered by white curtains in the depths of the ward.

”I’ve said it all, I’ve said everything I know, what else do you want?”

The words were full of sadness and...fear.

Su Qin walked over slowly and opened the curtains.

What came into view was a person whose whole body was wrapped in bandages, with only one eye and half of his face exposed.

A trace of blood seeped from some of the bandages that wrapped the body.

Su Qin narrowed his eyes slightly, and he could feel the fear emanating from this person.

And this survivor, when he saw Su Qin who was only wearing a pair of plain clothes, was stunned, and asked weakly, ”Who are you?”

Su Qin didn’t answer, just staring at the survivor.

The survivor stared at Su Qin a little hairy, he twisted his body unconsciously, and raised his voice a little.

”Hey, who are you? What are you doing here?”

Hearing this person’s voice, Su Qin finally reacted.

”Tell me about the specific circumstances of your attack at that time!” Su Qin’s tone was full of majesty that could not be rejected.

”No, who are you, why should I tell...”

The person on the hospital bed wanted to say something, but he saw Su Qin’s eyes full of majesty and dignity.

In an instant, the man’s voice stopped abruptly.

”Well, at that time, our group was exploring an abandoned factory building in the western suburbs. When it was getting dark, we just wanted to leave when we saw a stumbling figure walking in the distance...”

The man on the hospital bed swallowed, and told all about the encounter with the ”infected person”.

Ten minutes later, Su Qin frowned and stood in front of the hospital bed.

”That’s how it happened. The last time I saw that person walking towards the outskirts of the western suburbs, he seemed to be chanting the words ’the passage to the kingdom of heaven is there’, and then I lost consciousness.”

After the person on the hospital bed finished speaking, he looked at Su Qin.

Su Qin lowered his head, as if he was thinking about something.

After a long while, he said slowly, ”You said that you and your companions are beast masters with a beast level of around 30, right?”

”Ah.”

”Then based on your feelings at the time, what do you think the person who attacked you is about his strength?”

The person on the hospital bed recalled the scene of the battle at that time, and the only eye that was exposed showed a look of fear.

”Very strong, several of my companions were killed by that man’s war beast before they even had time to summon the war beast!”

”Can you remember what the attacking beast looked like?” Su Qin asked again.

”Hmm...it looks very strange, a bit like a Western war beast, but in my impression, I have never seen such a war beast.”

Hearing what the man on the hospital bed said, Su Qin nodded.

”Did that person say anything when he attacked you, just the kind of unintentional chanting?”

”Yes, the person who attacked us kept saying, ’This is a mission given to me by the gods, kill all of you despicable and evil people, and I will be rewarded by the gods’.”

”...Also, that person has been saying that his war beast has been endowed with divine power, and killing sinners is sublimating his own power.”

”Is that so?” Su Qin said softly.

According to the survivor, the person who attacked them was undoubtedly the beast master who was ”infected” by hallucinations.

And since he can be a beast master with a level of 30 in an instant, his own strength must be at least level 50 or above.

Just looking at the level, the ”infected person” shouldn’t have caused much damage to the city.

Earlier, he heard from Chen Changning that two teams had already been ordered to chase the ”infected”.

However, they did not find any ”infected persons” in the outskirts of the western suburbs.

”You rest first, I will come to you if I have any questions.”

”Okay okay.”

Shocked by Su Qin’s aura, the survivor dared not raise any objections.

Su Qin walked out of the ward, walking with his head down, thinking about this matter.

Although according to the survivor, this incident happened suddenly.

But for some reason, Su Qin always felt that this matter was a bit strange.

But where is the problem, he couldn’t tell for a while...

While Su Qin was meditating, there was a rush of messy footsteps in front of him.

Su Qin looked up and found several young men and women in black uniforms walking towards him.

”You are... Su Qin?!”

The leading man recognized Su Qin and spoke in surprise.

”Who are you?” Su Qin asked.

The black uniforms these people were wearing were different from the uniforms of the Beastmasters Association and Beastmasters Corps he had seen before. Su Qin’s instinctive vigilance caught Su Qin’s attention.

”Oh, we are the 6th team under Minister Chen, and we are in charge of dealing with matters related to the ’crack’ on weekdays.”

The leading man enthusiastically introduced his team.

He is no stranger to Su Qin, the famous ”popular man” in Beijing, and he also received the news that Su Qin joined the department some time ago.

Now seeing Su Qin himself, he is naturally very happy.

”Get to know each other, the captain of Team 6, Shen Qingyun.”

”Su Qin.”

Shen Qingyun stretched out his hand and shook Su Qin’s hand.

”What are you doing here... are you also investigating the crack?”

As a member of the same department, Shen Qingyun naturally guessed the purpose of Su Qin’s coming here.

”Well, how about you?”

Shen Qingyun waved his hand, and the team members standing on both sides smiled at Su Qin, then passed Su Qin and walked towards the survivor’s ward.

”To be honest, we were the first contact of this survivor and this incident.”

”Are you the team you sent?”

”That’s right.” Shen Qingyun nodded: ”After learning about the survivor’s attack, our team went to the western suburbs to pursue the attacker without stopping.”

”But nothing was found. The assailant seemed to have evaporated from the world, leaving not even a trace of breath.”

Shen Qingyun paused, then lowered his head suddenly, and said in a very low voice: ”However, we found some strange clues on the way back.”

”What clue?” Su Qin suddenly became interested.

”Eh...” Shen Qingyun suddenly realized that he seemed to have said too much, and quickly prepared to shut up.

But Su Qin said indifferently: ”I think your minister should have told you that as long as I have more authority than him in the process of performing tasks.”

”……Yes.”

Shen Qingyun still remembered how surprised the captains and members of their squad were when he heard the minister announce the news.

With a higher authority than the minister, wouldn’t it be completely above their heads?

But although they were very shocked, they didn’t dare to say anything more.

Since it was the minister’s decision, they could only obey.
