Archean Eon Art

Chapter 749: Tenacity of Life

Celestial Thearch Myriad Star was dead. Once the news spread, it shocked all the Eminences in the River of Spacetime. After all, he was a half-step Eighth Tribulation Eminence that had left the River of Spacetime in shock and awe for tens of thousands of years. He had been killed while hiding in his homeworld—this left many Eminences alarmed.

Furthermore, the information they had obtained… was that City Lord Eastcalm had invited an Eighth Tribulation Eminence to infiltrate the inhabited world and kill Celestial Thearch Myriad Star.

How ruthless!

This also made everyone understand City Lord Eastcalm’s personality all the more! In fact, everyone had already guessed it from Meng Chuan’s fight against Black Fiend Hall. This caused some Seventh Tribulation Eminences and half-step Seventh Tribulation Eminences to restrain themselves, afraid of angering City Lord Eastcalm.

After all, given that City Lord Eastcalm, Meng Chuan, was at the strongest realm—the half-step Eighth Tribulation realm—in the present era and an Essence Soul Tribulation Eminence at that, he was much more terrifying than Hall Lord White Avian.

One of Hall Lord White Avian’s true bodies was in his homeworld, while the other was busy cultivating. There were many things he couldn’t do.

Meng Chuan had too many Essence Soul avatars… Who wouldn’t be afraid of him if he casually sent a few to roam the River of Spacetime?

…

Archean Eon Realm, Jiang State Capital, Meng Manor.

When night fell, one of the strongest experts in the River of Spacetime—Meng Chuan—accompanied his wife, Liu Qiyue.

Under the night sky, the couple sat beside a peach blossom tree. Beside them was a flask of alcohol.

The couple looked at the massive illusory scene in front of them as scenes played out.

“There are too many people and matters in Archean Eon Realm that have been drowned in the passage of time. Even the history books don’t have records of them.” Liu Qiyue sighed as she looked at him. “If it weren’t for you grasping the laws of spacetime and being able to see the past, I’m afraid these would’ve never been known by the future generations.”

“Originally, I just wanted to see some famous people, such as Ancestral Master Archean Eon, Supremacy Thundergod, and so on. Who knew that I would see so many unrecorded people?” said Meng Chuan with a nod.

“Let’s watch it from the beginning,” said Liu Qiyue. “From the moment Archean Eon Realm was born, I think it’s worth it to see all the important phases that Archean Eon Realm has experienced over 100 million years.”

“Let’s take our time; we have plenty of time,” said Meng Chuan with a smile.

Even Ancestral Master Archean Eon didn’t know much about Archean Eon Realm. After all, the earlier it was, the fewer records there were.

In the beginning, there was no system for text. Later on, there were written records, but they would rot in the face of time. The Godfiend system gradually formed, and they used many powerful artifacts to record history.

The earlier the era, the fewer records there were.

They only knew that Archean Eon Realm had been born for over 100 million years. The most prosperous era was in the past one million years!

“Let’s begin.” Meng Chuan and his wife began watching Archean Eon Realm’s history.

Whoosh!

Under the night sky, a huge scene appeared in front of Meng Chuan and his wife. It depicted the past.

Matter-energy gathered in the void, gradually forming an inhabited world. This tender inhabited world in its nascent stages absorbed external powers and slowly grew.

Desolate!

This inhabited world didn’t have any life for the time being. It only had basic rocks, soil, and water. The plants gradually flourished. Following that, all sorts of weak lifeforms appeared, and worms gradually appeared…

“How ancient,” said Liu Qiyue softly.

Meng Chuan was playing the broadcast on speedup. After all, the early inhabited world’s evolution was too slow.

“Humans have appeared.” Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue saw humans appear in Archean Eon Realm for the first time 120 million years ago.

Among the many animals, the most primitive human appeared. The primitive human looked very similar to the current human. However, their fur was lusher, and they were more muscular and barbaric.

Humans didn’t have an advantage when competing with many animals. As a weak race, they were rather miserable. Among the countless animals, there were ferocious beasts. This was because some strange treasures in the inhabited world had transformed into these powerful creatures by chance.

At that moment, there was no complete cultivation system. Powerful ferocious beasts were formed by fortuitous encounters and treasures.

“Humans have gone extinct.” With a flood, the earliest primitive humans were destroyed amidst their struggles.

“Humans are born again.” After millions of years, humans evolved and formed again by chance.

“Humans have gone extinct again.”

Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue watched.

Humans were born and destroyed time and time again.

In the early days, human civilizations were too weak. If they couldn’t withstand the passage of time, they would be destroyed. The so-called destruction would result in countless deaths. Only a small number would survive and evolve into the next human civilization. In worst cases, humans would be wiped out completely. Only after a long period of time would humans evolve again. The inhabited world’s environment would clearly evolve into many species, including humans.

“Survival is truly difficult.” Meng Chuan and Liu Qiyue watched everything.

In these eras, humans weren’t any nobler than other beasts. Even Archean Eon Realm had other beasts dominating it. They gradually gained intelligence, but they were ultimately destroyed in the face of time.

The scene Meng Chuan played soon arrived at a point in time 30 million years ago in Archean Eon Realm.

Huh? Meng Chuan’s expression changed slightly.

“What’s wrong?” Liu Qiyue looked at the scene in front of her and noticed the change in Meng Chuan’s expression.

At Meng Chuan’s realm, he rarely paled in comparison.

“These 15 fleeing humans.” Meng Chuan pointed at the 15 fleeing humans that appeared in the illusory scene. “They are the source of humanity! All humans in this era originate from these 15 humans.”

Meng Chuan watched the scenes first before broadcasting them, so he knew about it ahead of time.

“All humans in this era originate from them?” Liu Qiyue was alarmed. “From these 15 people?”

Meng Chuan nodded slightly. As he looked at the past, he revealed it to his wife. His view was different from his wife’s! His consciousness had seeped into Archean Eon Realm’s River of Spacetime’s past. It was as though he had experienced it personally, and the feeling was even stronger.

This generation of primitive humans was still weak across the land. Among them were two inconspicuous human races that fought each other. One race had 86 people, while the other had 135 people.

Due to ploys and other reasons, the larger race—consisting of 135 people—was actually defeated. Fifteen people fled and headed out to sea on wooden boats.

These 15 people were the source of humanity in Archean Eon Realm.

…

After accompanying his wife in watching the development of the human race’s origins, Meng Chuan couldn’t help but return to the study and begin painting.

It had been a long time since he had such passionate desires.

In front of the desk, he unfolded the painting and put down his brush.

With this painting, Meng Chuan forgot about time—he forgot about day and night. When Liu Qiyue discovered this scene, she naturally forbade anyone from disturbing Meng Chuan.

A long painting gradually formed.

On the rightmost side of the huge painting was a wooden boat with 15 primitive humans fleeing from the land.

After that, the wooden boat arrived at a lone island on a flaming mountain.

They lived and procreated on an isolated island.

After that, the land experienced a terrifying Ice Age. Countless lifeforms were wiped out, and the relatively ordinary humans among many species were similarly wiped out. Correspondingly, the isolated island with the volcano allowed humans to survive the cold.

The lone island had a limited area. As they continued to reproduce, the food on the land became insufficient. Therefore, humans found new habitats and headed to other islands or even land.

The path of migration allowed this race to form a ‘spirit of conquest.’ They would conquer new places and build new homes.

They would be heroes.

Generations of people inherited the spirit of conquest and risked their lives to find new homes.

The continental land was countless times larger than isolated islands. This branch of humanity relied on their two legs to cross mountains and rivers.

When they encountered a suitable place, they stayed behind. Some people continued advancing; they also encountered harsh environments and ferocious beasts. Some died while the living continued walking and searching for new homes.

Now that the species was large in number, there were branches that spread out in all directions.

Generation after generation…

Miraculously, this branch of humanity relied on humans’ reproduction capability to pass down the torch generation after generation. In 3,000 years, their species spread across the entire continent!

This was 3,000 years after the Ice Age. Countless large species were wiped out during the Ice Age. Many animals on the land were in a weak state, allowing this branch of humanity to have a chance of conquering some of the remnant ferocious beasts and completely infiltrate the continent. With the number advantage, humans occupied the mainstream position on the entire continent for the first time.

Humans were intelligent. With a large number of them, their ability to resist disasters increased. They also began to form a cultivation system, and humans eventually became the masters of this world.

Thus, the tribal era began.

Meng Chuan’s paintings focused on how humanity passed on the torch generation after generation. They transcended death and danger and ultimately conquered the entire land.
