Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 111

Chapter 111
”In war, there will inevitably be sacrifices. In yesterday’s conflict, 82 of our warriors unfortunately died in the conflict.”

”Although you have only followed me for less than half a month, this fearless spirit is admirable...”

”We need to treat the sacrifices of martyrs with the highest standards. Now I declare that the sacrifice begins!”

After announcing the official start, Eleven, who was waiting in the audience, also began to issue orders.

”Attention the salute team, start, let’s go!”

The honor guard of the funeral procession, holding the urn, walked slowly past the crowd in neat steps.

Because the incineration work is piled together and burned, the ashes are also fused and concentrated.

Lin Feng also wanted to burn them separately and place tombstones for them one by one.

But doing so is extremely time-consuming, coupled with land restrictions on the island, we can only take a step back and use centralized burial.

The ashes of 82 people were collected in [-] wooden boxes and passed in front of everyone.

After 20 people appeared in front of everyone, Eleven issued a password change at the same time.

”Go forward, let’s go! The gunman is in position, fire the gun!”

With the issuance of the second round of passwords, the guard of honor changed its pace at the same time, while the ready gunmen raised their guns at 45 degrees and began to fire towards the sky.

”Boom-boom-boom-”

21 people, divided into three teams and saluted in different times.

After the first row was finished, they immediately began to load the ammunition uniformly. Halfway through, the second team started firing again.

Follow this sequence and repeat until the honor guard has completed its journey to the cemetery.

With the end of 63 gunshots, this also signaled the end of the first session.

Lin Feng on the stage also stepped out of the second round.

”Listen to my command and observe three minutes of silence!”

After getting the password, everyone lowered their heads slightly.

Since there was too little open space in the cemetery to accommodate thirteen phalanxes, Lin Feng planned to observe silence first and then divide the formations to pay tribute one by one.

At the same time as the silence, the cemetery is also beginning to bury the work.

The solemn and solemn ceremony moved the sailors.

Although they were forced to join Lin Feng’s command, they had never seen such a funeral ceremony.

Perhaps only His Majesty the King can receive such treatment when they leave.

As ordinary sailors, they used to be simply buried in water after battles. As for the sacrifice?
Maybe only good friends may think of it occasionally.

All of a sudden, the sailors who had followed Lin Feng for half a month had all kinds of allegiance thoughts in their hearts.

If there is a loyalty value at this time, the loyalty of these sailors may soar to more than 90.

And those sailors who just joined today, as ’opponents’, participated in such a funeral, they were also deeply surprised.

Their new leader treated his subordinates in a way they had never seen before.

Now that they have also joined Lin Feng’s command, will they enjoy the same treatment after they die in battle one day?

Such a special seed was unknowingly planted in the hearts of everyone.

……

The 3 minutes of silence ended quickly.

Lin Feng also began to order everyone to go to pay respects and pay homage in batches.

The phalanxes were mixed with old people and newcomers, and after a simple training in the afternoon, they came to the cemetery and saluted neatly in front of the cemetery.

”Stand at attention! Salute!”

”Shh-”

After the phalanxes saluted and paid homage, they returned to the assembly again. It took almost half an hour for the thirteen phalanxes to be completed.

At this time, the sky was completely dark, only the neatly arranged lights on the island illuminated the surroundings.

As the last group of people returned to the conference, Lin Feng also officially announced the start of the next stage.

In addition to commemorating the dead, the most important rewards will also be held here.

”I’m here to announce that these 82 martyrs will be awarded the title, Ocean Heroes, and at the same time, they will be awarded first-class merit!”

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a burst of applause from the audience.

After waiting for a moment for the applause to subside, Lin Feng continued to announce.

”At the same time, seven people including Claire, Bubman, and Sarog... will be rewarded with second-class merit!”

The seven people here are all survivors rescued from serious injuries.

After all, after wandering around the door of death, Lin Feng originally wanted to pursue first-class merit, but after thinking about it, he was transferred to second-class merit.

After all, it’s not good to have too many first-class meritorious workers, and it’s not too late to add them after they develop and grow in the future.

In addition to these, Lin Feng has awarded third-class merit to more than 50 people. These are all personnel who performed bravely and were injured in the battle.

Under Lin Feng’s perspective, he was very clear about everyone’s performance on the battlefield, he knew who was fishing and who was struggling to kill the enemy.

After the credit division is over, the next step is to reward.

Although everyone knew that this title was a compliment to him, but a verbal award was not enough.

There must be physical rewards and high status to justify the hard-won of these things.

Next, Lin Feng wanted to let them know the significance of these contributions, so that they could work harder for him in the future.

”Because the island has not yet developed, many things are relatively scarce, but in addition to rewards for medals, substantial rewards are also needed for heroes.”

”Claire!”

”To!”

Claire, who was shouted, quickly got up again, and limped to the stage with a cane.

”Claire, during the battle, the command staff used fewer to many to gain more time for rescue, and in the subsequent explosion, in order to reduce losses, he personally went to the field to kill the enemy and remove the explosives, but he was seriously injured by the explosion.”

”Now, promote Claire to the rank of least lieutenant, and immediately become a battalion commander.”

”At the same time, as a second-class hero, I will be rewarded with a single room and fifty gold coins.”

As he spoke, Lin Feng took out the gold coins that had been piled up for a long time from his backpack and handed them to the other party.

The island’s monetary policy has almost been formulated by Lin Feng, but since there is no suitable currency in kind at present, he can only replace it with the previously seized currency.

Later, when there is more manufacturing free time, we can develop and create our own currency.

Fifty golden coins were handed over to Claire, and at the same time Lin Feng also briefly explained the role of the gold coins on the island to everyone.

They are only serving him temporarily now, and one day in the future, when the population of the island expands, Lin Feng will allow them to leave here and return to his own country.

And these gold coins are just the money they have accumulated working here now.

After all, considering that they also have family members, it is impossible for Lin Feng to trap them on this island for a lifetime.

He wants to give these people an idea that they can serve him in a down-to-earth manner, and the best way to do this is to go home.

But as for them being far from willing to leave in the future, that’s two different things...
