Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 82 The Second Impact!

Chapter 82 The Second Impact!
Hundreds of people stood on the shore, using anchor ropes to pull the moored warships.

Due to docking in shallow sea and lack of wind now.

If you want to restart, you have to manually pull it to deeper waters to regain power.

Subtracting the food reserves on the ship, the entire battleship also weighed more than 800 tons.

With the efforts of hundreds of people, it took almost two hours to successfully allow the battleship to enter the deep water area to recover its power.

After the transfer of the battleship was completed, everyone began to study the language non-stop.

Since the paper from the paper mill will take two days to be produced, and the survivors are not good at writing.

Learning work can only start with the most primitive, saying and learning.

More than 460 people were divided into eight classes, guided by the starfish family.

And those who used to be in charge of the ship, like Grace, were separated separately, and Lin Feng was to guide and study.

Due to the limited time at night, teach everyone some simple vocabulary and prepare to rest after the end.

However, it was not safe for Lin Feng to sleep like this. There were still ghosts among the sailors who had not yet surrendered.

In addition, it is docked at sea, if someone can’t think of stealing the boat and fleeing at night, then he will be at a loss.

In order to ensure their own safety and order on the island, the 53 survivors have to work hard tonight.

However, this number of patrol stations was still a bit too small for the schedule. Lin Feng transferred 40 more people from Greese who he thought were trustworthy candidates.

Thirteen people from the Haixing clan served as night patrol leaders, and four leaders led 13 newly joined survivors and 20 sailors.

Divided into two teams and four groups, one team guards the dormitory and the small black house prison, and the other team guards the lighthouse and ships to ensure the safety of key areas.

The patrol time has also been changed from the original two-hour shift to a three-hour shift.

There is no point in changing shifts too frequently if there are too many people. It is better to stand on guard for a while.

With this kind of arrangement, even if an accident occurs at night, this person can still withstand it for a while.

Go back to the dormitory and turn on the hot water.

Wash away today’s fatigue under the scour of hot water.

There were so many things that happened today that Lin Feng was a little too busy.

But thinking about leaving the island early tomorrow morning, I have to go to bed early tonight.

……

With well-arranged night watchmen, I still slept very soundly at night.

The next morning, while Lin Feng was still asleep, he was awakened by a knock on the door.

Glancing at the sky outside the window, it has begun to dim.

The person who came to report should also be about the issue of Wandering Island starting to move.

Get up and put on clothes, open the door, starfish is in front of you.

”The island has begun to move, and according to your instructions, it has already begun to wake up other people to prepare for boarding.”

”Well, I see. Go and get ready for boarding. I’ll be right there.”

Lin Feng nodded, indicating that he already knew.

Then a message was sent to Xiaosu to remind him to evacuate.

The sailors who were awakened were a little confused for a while looking at the distant island on the beach.

Why did the island run away again?
They have been chasing the island for almost a day. After finally catching up with them, they rested for a day and started running again?
Lin Feng came to the shore, glanced at the departing island in the distance, and casually asked Eleven who was following behind him.

”Have all the corpses on the island been removed?”

”It’s been moved, it’s been transferred to the wooden house you set up.”

”Well, yes, you go and lead a team to do security work. If there are any changes from foreigners, you can do it directly without asking me for instructions.”

”understand!”

Accepting the order, Eleven gave a military salute, and immediately went to make arrangements.

Lin Feng was very relieved to hand over the Complete Book of Life and Death to the survivors. After a week of testing, their loyalty was still very reliable.

As for the sailors and his party, Lin Feng was still wary. Even if he joined the crowd, he didn’t know how the other party treated him.

Although both ethnic groups belong to the survivors, the level of civilization and wisdom of the sailors and others is much higher than that of the starfish clan.

High civilization and high intelligence also mean that they are better at hiding themselves, which makes them more dangerous.

While everyone was boarding the ship, Lin Feng started to disassemble it all over the island with a construction hammer alone.

Take all that you can fit in your backpack.

Due to the insufficient space in the backpack, Lin Feng left all the strange food brought from the ship on the island.

By the way, I left some unimportant items in the camp in the center of the island, so that the capacity of the backpack is enough.

The two three-story dormitory buildings from yesterday were completely demolished, and then a wooden wall was built around farmland, lighthouses, trebuchets and other places as protection.

When setting up protection for the farmland, Lin Feng was surprised to find that the seeds in the farmland had already grown a section.

How long has it been since he sown?

It’s only been less than two days, and a small seedling has grown?
Looking at this little green life, Lin Feng casually set up three protections for this farmland, trying to protect it as much as possible.

After doing all this, the wandering island that has gone away has drifted away for almost a kilometer.

According to the previous experience, it should be about to separate and hit.

The sailors on the island have also all boarded the battleship under the arrangement in advance.

Seeing that the situation was almost over, Lin Feng boarded the battleship with his guards.

Then he ordered to lower some of the sails to keep the warship away from the island.

As soon as he turned around and moved away from here, Lin Feng’s vision of Wandering Island changed a lot.

[Small island: 1.4 kilometers away]

[Countdown to impact: 5 minute 50 seconds]

’Um?Not split anymore? ’

Looking at the information in his eyes, Lin Feng was a little startled. This is an island with a diameter of more than 400 meters, so it will hit it directly without splitting up?

But looking at the impact time in front of him, he calculated the distance from the island,

The drifting speed of Wandering Island was about three meters per second, which was much slower than the previous speed of more than ten meters per second.

It was also the reason why the impact speed was too fast last time, which caused the entire island to be reduced to ruins.

But this time, although the speed is slow, its quality is not small.

According to the calculation of kinetic energy, the movement caused by this thing hitting the island is probably not that small.

For the sake of safety, Lin Feng gave the order again, asking everyone to move forward for a certain distance.

As the departing island slowly approached, the sailors on the deck seemed to understand why they had to evacuate.

Less than 6 minutes passed quickly, and the huge wandering island returned to the island.

As the shoals hidden in the seabed began to merge and collide, the squeezed sea water rushed several meters high.

The surging waves are also rushing towards the surroundings, but this time they have changed to bigger and heavier warships, so the waves are just drizzle for them.

The collisions between the islands came and went quickly, and the original island was squeezed by nearly 30 meters by the wandering island.

There are varying degrees of damage in the area behind it, but fortunately, this impact entered from the due west.

No serious damage was done to island structures, only the salt pans and fertilizer pits in that area were destroyed.

Seeing the collision of the second island, the sailors on the ship watched this scene in shock.

At the same time, I was very glad that I was able to board the boat and leave. If I encountered this on the island, I would be scared to death sooner or later.

After the turmoil caused by the collision ended, Lin Feng ordered everyone to return to the ship and prepare to start a new round of land reclamation and construction work.
