I sell blind boxes in the Beast Taming World

Chapter 323 New City Lord!Chapter 323 New City Lord!
After the news that Zhou Yu became the city lord of Xuanyang City was released, the city-states and city lords all over the Federation carried out a temporary change of office.

The strange thing is that in this change of office, besides Zhou Yu who became the city lord at the age of 19, there was also You Fei, who was also 19 years old, who ascended to the throne of the city lord of Zhou Yu’s hometown city.

The new city lords of other city-states are also young, and the oldest one is only 28 years old!
Although it is said that the position of city lord in other cities should be voted by the people of the whole city, the problem is that this change of office is too sudden, and the votes are counted directly within a day, and the federation is particularly tough, and the local forces are not strong enough. Knowing what the stimulus was, he strongly supported the change of office, and the new city lord took over very smoothly.

The entire federation is constantly moving, and some people and small forces want to protest this, but the cities have directly entered a state of martial law, and the whole country has entered a state of combat readiness. The troops flying around in the air every day make them swallow their opinions inside.

This ghost knows that the federation is going to make a big move. Who would dare to go against the federation’s intentions in this kind of move?

The national army is constantly dispatching and changing defenses, which has almost compressed the defense forces of the cities to the extreme. No one knows where the transferred troops have gone, but if you dare to mess around at this time, then the army will not mind having one more target.

It can be said that except for the border cities, the cities of the entire Federation have entered a very fragile state, and even the troops of the border cities with other human countries have been greatly reduced. It seems that the military department is not worried that other countries will take advantage of this opportunity to attack.

Religion will naturally not be absent from such a big event. The bishops and archbishops of the Covenant God Sect are all stationed in the city lord’s mansions everywhere, ready to defend the Rebirth Sect from taking the opportunity to make trouble.

Zhou Yu has temporarily forgotten all this. He has just held an engagement ceremony. Although the ceremony is relatively simple for the Xuanyang City lord, it has never been seen by Zhuang Bai and her mother and friends. It’s a big scene.

The next day, when they were in the garden of the City Lord’s Mansion, Zhou Zhewen summoned his own giant-winged kite. The king of this giant-winged kite had cultivated to a B-level primary strength in just half a year, which was enough to take them with them. A group of people went to the destination.

Although the combat power is definitely not enough, Nao Nao Xiaobai and others can fly. If they are attacked by ferocious beasts, they just need to be summoned.

After getting engaged, Zhou Yu and Zhuang Bai became more intimate. He hugged her and jumped onto the back of the giant winged kite, and the others followed suit.

It’s just that Zhou Zhewen, who usually looks envious when he sees Zhou Yuxiu’s affection, has no reaction this time.

Tang Hui and his girlfriend have established a relationship, Meng Shaoyun is not interested in men and women, Guan Ling may prefer Zhuang Bai, Zhou Zhewen used to eat dog food alone.

But now he has a smug expression, it seems that there is some secret.

Tang Hui saw Zhou Yu’s curious expression, and he understood what Zhou Yu was thinking in an instant, and lightly touched Zhou Yu with his hand, ”There is a girl in the new team of the club who seems to be a little tricky with him.”

Zhou Yu winked at Tang Hui, signaling to try it later, Tang Hui understood Zhou Yu’s eyes, and nodded with a smirk.

Of course it’s a good thing for a teammate to find a girlfriend, and he plans to talk to Meng Shaoyun sometime to see if he can arouse his interest in the girl.

Just as Zhou Yu and the others were on their way to their destination, You Fei was sitting in the office of the City Lord’s Mansion. He finally officially stepped into the political arena, and the starting point was the City Lord.

He would be very excited and proud if he was put in other people’s place, but he is different, because of the existence of Zhou Yu, he is just the lord of a small city, and Zhou Yu has become the lord of Xuanyang City, the second most important city in the federation. Completely covered his limelight.

But now he has grown up in the series of tasks arranged by Councilor Liu Wen, he will no longer be so impulsive, nor will he resent Zhou Yu because of this matter, but instead thinks about whether he can win Zhou Yu over. In the ranks of the reformers.

The lord of Xuanyang City has always been a member of the military department. He maintains this neutrality and does not fall to any party, but Zhou Yu has something to do.

”How sure do you think you are?” In the office, another man wearing a hooded sweater asked You Fei.

”I think, with % certainty, I know him a little bit. In fact, he also hates the exploitation of the rich in his heart, and his thoughts and ideas in normal conversations are somewhat similar to ours.”

”Well, then you can try it.”

”Father, I want to launch a new policy in the city to completely drive out those aristocratic families! If the policy fails, then I am willing to take responsibility!” You Fei looked at the person in front of him excitedly, his new policy After thinking about it for a long time, he felt that it was time to take it out and use it.

Liu Wen was thinking, with a hint of pampering on his face, he naturally understood You Fei’s new policy, and he even perfected many regulations.

Although he feels that it is not perfect now, he can use this city as a pilot first. If the effect is good, then he can make up for the gaps through practice.

”If you think it’s okay, then do it, but this responsibility is not yours, but ours!”

”Okay, Yifu, I have a hunch that this will be the beginning of our party becoming a major party!” You Fei was very excited, his dream for many years is about to come true!
His policy will reduce taxes for the poor, increase taxes for the rich, and levy property taxes on properties in the city according to their value. If they are poor or dependent old people, property taxes will be reduced or exempted.

Including increasing affordable rental housing, renting out some properties in the hands of the city lord’s mansion as public rental housing to civilians at one-tenth of the normal price.

The most important thing is education. In the new policy, all education is no longer charged, but the wealth tax and property tax are used to subsidize education. Regardless of whether it is a commoner or aristocrat, their children must receive education uniformly and cancel all private education. Schools, enter different schools according to qualifications and talents.

Except for the educational institutions allowed by the city lord’s mansion, no additional tutoring is allowed for children, and a special agency is set up to monitor whether there is any unfair phenomenon.

The training base no longer only obtains contract quotas through the animal royal insurance, and students who have not contracted beast royals in the school can obtain additional opportunities to contract beasts through cultural knowledge and other means.

Build a circle of outer walls outside the villages outside the city to protect civilians who grow food outside the city and a series of policies.

You Fei walked out excitedly with the document in his hand, he couldn’t bear to carry it out, leaving behind Liu Wen smiling and watching him leave.

After You Fei left, a man walked out from a corner of the room, and said to Liu Wen cautiously: ”Will the nobles in other places feel dissatisfied with his reckless behavior and affect our party?”

He didn’t expect that after he said this, Liu Wen’s original smiling face instantly darkened, and he looked at him with a frown.

”Are you bowing your head to the nobles? I hope you don’t forget our party’s program! If you forget, I don’t mind letting you review it.”

”and also!”

”Who is with you, we!”
