I sell blind boxes in the Beast Taming World

Chapter 11 The Tooth RatChapter 11 The Tooth Rat

Zhao Qi and Zhou Yu didn’t have time to take care of Zhao Qi who was walking away, so he crushed the medicinal materials he had prepared into powder, packed them in bags, walked in the middle of the road in Fenglin Garden, and sprinkled them into the woods on both sides.

As he was walking, imperial beasts kept poking their heads out of the woods on both sides, they were not afraid of Zhou Yu at all, some little ones even wanted to climb up Zhou Yu’s trouser legs.

Here, older beasts will be adopted, and most of them are kept by their parents for their own children, so they are all cubs.

The royal beasts reserved for breeding will not be here, but will be controlled by the kingdom, and then the cubs will be allocated to the breeding bases in each region according to the payment of taxes and insurance in each region, and will be raised by the staff of the base until someone comes. adopt.

Compared with those obtained from the wild, these cubs are less wild and aggressive, but more loyal and friendly to people.

”Squeak~!”

Just as Zhou Yu was getting deeper and deeper, a sharp voice sounded like a scream.

He stopped immediately, looked up and looked around, listening intently to the source of the sound.

Not long after, the sound rang out again, and this time he heard it clearly, it should be the scream of some creature after being attacked.

He immediately became vigilant. Although these cubs are usually docile, they may attack humans when they are injured or frightened. Especially Zhou Yu did not have a contract with the beast, and his strength is limited.

He slowly approached the direction of the sound, the closer he got, the more he could hear a humming sound, he should be hiding in the bushes in front of him.

And the sound of his approach was of course heard clearly by the beast master. The hearing of beast masters is always very sensitive. When he approached, a white thing rushed out from the bushes. Zhou Yu bared his teeth and grinned.

Zhou Yu also quietly opened the aisle of the blind box store, took out a pair of beast-monitoring equipment that looked like a ruler, and held it in his hand. This was an equipment he had obtained from opening the blind box in the past.

Only then did he see the whole picture of this guy, it was a mouse beast with the height of half a man!It looked up at Zhou Yu, its eyes were full of vigilance, its front teeth kept shaking, and it was ready to attack at any time. The sunlight shining from among the leaves was reflected under its snow-white fluff, making it very eye-catching.

”Little guy, calm down.”

Zhou Yu cautiously approached him, trying to appease him. This imperial beast should have come from the grassland. None of the imperial beasts here has a contract yet, and generally they will not attack humans without an order from the master. After all, these humans fed them.

When Zhou Yu moved closer, he realized that there was a deep bite mark on the back of this big-toothed rat, and it was hard to see what kind of beast the tooth mark was bit by its movements.

”Don’t worry, there’s no danger here.” Zhou Yu leaned down, looked at it at the same level, took out a handful of feed from his bag with his left hand, and slowly stretched it over.

The big-toothed mouse was a little nervous when it saw humans reaching out, but other humans have fed it in this way before, so it hesitated for a while. It still sniffed with its nose, endured the pain on its body, wanted to start eating, and ran away It has not eaten for so long, and it is also hungry.

However, at this time, there was a sudden movement in the nearby woods, and a man with a long gun came out.

”squeak!”

As soon as Big Tooth Mouse saw this person appearing, he immediately became nervous, turned around and wanted to attack Zhou Yu.

However, the man with the gun shot it, and it twitched on the ground for a while, then slowly fell to the ground, and its body began to stiffen.

Zhou Yu also took the opportunity to hide the ruler inside his clothes.

”Why don’t you call us when you encounter this kind of situation? Royal beasts are not pets. Although you are usually very docile when feeding, it is not uncommon for you to bite people to death once you go crazy.”

The person who came was wearing the uniform of the guards of the training base, and the gun in his hand was only a special anesthesia gun, which was the patrolling security in the base.

”He didn’t show any intention of attacking me.” Zhou Yu shook his head, and didn’t delve into it. After all, it was really against the regulations for him to touch the injured imperial beast without authorization.

”He was just attacked by other imperial beasts and came to me when he was injured.”

”This is the third time this month.” The patrol member looked at the wound, and then said, ”The same bite mark, it’s that one again.”

It was only at this time that Zhou Yu could see the bite marks clearly. The row of teeth marks looked like some kind of canine animal.

”The higher-ups suspect that there are fierce beasts mixed into the cultivation base. They have stepped up patrols these days. If you encounter an injured beast, remember to call us. If you encounter a fierce beast, immediately notify the beast master. Do you understand?!”

There are quite a few beast masters, but apart from the education industry and some beast masters who maintain order on a daily basis, they are rarely seen in the city. They usually defend against fierce beasts at the edge of the city or outside the city, so the cultivation base There are only a few beast masters sitting in the town, and the daily patrols and other tasks are still handed over to ordinary people with tranquilizer guns. It is okay to fight against some cubs, but they will be absolutely free when encountering fierce beasts.

”Okay, I see.” Zhou Yu nodded. In the eyes of others, he was just an ordinary student who came here to work part-time.

At most, there are some trainer talents.

However, before university, he couldn’t take the test for the trainer qualification certificate, so he has been procrastinating. Otherwise, he would have a part-time job at the training base in the name of a trainer, and he would be able to get in touch with these beasts better.

It might even be legal to contract a beast master here, after all, a trainer is a rarer profession than a beast master.

”Okay, I’m going to take him for treatment, and then put him back where he should be. The effect of the medicine will wear off later, so you can go back to the main road, and remember to report any situation immediately!”

Patrol officers grabbed the large-toothed rat by its hind feet, loaded it into a small car with huge tires, and drove away.

Only then did Zhou Yu put the ruler back into the blind box shop, and looked around: ”Fierce beast? That’s not necessarily the case.”

Thinking back on that tooth mark, Zhou Yu had many doubts.

First, the cultivation base is surrounded by high walls, and there are people patrolling it every day. If there is a gap or something, someone should report it, but I haven’t heard of anyone reporting damage to the wall recently.

Second, if it was really a ferocious beast, how could it attack the cub of the royal beast three times in a row and then let it go with just one bite?

He had also heard about it the previous two times. Unlike the big-toothed rat this time, it was a cloud-riding horse and a tooth-toothed pig, but they were not comparable to ordinary big-toothed rats. Since that mysterious creature could subdue those two And taking a bite, it is impossible to let the big toothed mouse go because of strength.

Then there is only another reason, and it may be that he has this kind of preference to bite animals as soon as he catches them.

It’s also possible that it’s a master beast, and someone ordered it to do this!
