First Magician

Chapter 76 Battle against the Great MageChapter 76 Battle against the Great Mage
There were fewer and fewer pedestrians on the street. At this time, it was already past midnight. The shops are also closed.

Moranxiu raised his head abruptly, only to realize that it was very late. Looking at his location, Moranxiu smiled wryly. This place seemed to be far away from the academy.

Turning around, Moranxiu began to quicken his pace and walked towards the academy. After careful consideration, he decided not to act rashly, because the Oriman family might not only have high-level swordsmen, but even great magicians. If he rushed in like this, he would not find the body even if he died.

After crossing a street, Moranxiu came to a small alley. Now, he wanted to take a short cut and hurry back to the Academy.

Suddenly, Moranxiu felt something unusual.Sensitive to elements, Moranxiu found that the surrounding magic elements fluctuated strangely.

”Hey!”

A figure quickly landed in front of Mo Lanxiu, and then, seeing the other party rising and falling, Mo Lanxiu came not far away.In this alley, there is no one else except myself and this black shadow that suddenly appeared.

”Who are you?” Moranxiu was slightly startled, the speed of this person was very fast.Judging by his attire, he should be a magician, and a great magician at that.Only great magicians can use the ’Earth Leap’ magic to increase their speed by a few notches.

”Haha, kid, your name is Moranxiu, right?” the man in black smiled strangely.

His voice was harsh, and only a pair of eyes were exposed from the cloak.

Obviously, this person was looking for him specially. And, definitely not friends.Moranxiu was on alert, the magic power in his body was circulating rapidly, and the magic power in the two magic holes could be transported out of the body to form magic at any time, and only a small spell was needed to induce it.

”Yes, Moranxiu is me! May I ask who you are?” Moranxiu directly admitted that he had a premonition that this person was most likely here to kill him.

The other party had obviously followed him for a long time, waiting for an opportunity. Then, the other party has already confirmed his identity, even if he does not admit it, it will have no effect.

”Hey... Not bad, very good. Kid, let you die more clearly, it is the Oriman family who wants to kill you. I am the great magician hired by the Oriman family. As far as I am concerned, I am not the same as you. There is no enmity. If it wasn’t for the Oliman family, I wouldn’t have shot you. I am a great magician.” The black-robed man said a series of words, as if he wanted to make excuses for himself.

It is indeed too much for an ordinary great magician to hold on to his identity and let him deal with a 12-year-old child.

”You want to kill me?” Mo Lanxiu rolled his eyes and asked.

”That’s right, today, you must die, who made you offend the Oliman family.” The man in black said in a dark voice.

Moranxiu sighed: ”That’s right, I offended that Oser, he always wanted to kill me.”

”But, given your identity, don’t you think it’s inappropriate to do so?” Moranxiu continued.

It would be best if the opponent could not make a move.Moranxiu was not sure about dealing with the great magician. The magical power of a seventh-level magician is more than ten times that of a sixth-level magician. If you really fight, it is very difficult to win.

”Hey, boy, you are very smart. It is really inappropriate for me to deal with you. That’s why I chose such a secluded place. As long as I kill you, no one will know. Well, don’t say much, kid , prepare to accept death.” The black-robed man said, and began to use magic.

”That’s too much nonsense!” Moranxiu shouted, and a huge fireball flew towards the man in black.

Great Fireball!

”Huh? The speed of casting magic is good.” The man in black robe was startled, and a water shield appeared soon, blocking the big fireball.

”Sure enough, the water shield can easily block my big fireball. However, this is just an ordinary big fireball.” Mo Lanxiu paused for a moment, and quickly ran to the left.

He is very agile, like a cat in the night.

”Huh? Little baby, how fast are you running?” the black robed man asked with flickering eyes.

”Unfortunately, you can’t escape.” The man in black sneered, and a series of spells sounded.

”Boom!”

There was a sea of fire in the sky, and the entire sky was reflected in red.

Rain of Fire!
The fireballs falling from the sky one by one surrounded Moranxiu who was moving.

”Not good!” Moranxiu jumped up suddenly, and the earth shield stood up.

Just when the earth shield had just formed, the rain of fire had already fallen.

There was a series of ”thump, thump, thump” sounds.

When the fire rain technique fell on the earth shield, Moranxiu only felt a wave of heat, and his whole body was suffocated. This advanced magic is really terrifying.

”If it wasn’t for my strengthened earth shield, I’m afraid it would have been burned to ashes by now.” Moranxiu was secretly startled.

After the fire rain, Mo Lanxiu hurriedly took a few deep breaths. The whole body, as if it had been boiled in boiling water, emitted wisps of white smoke.

”Huh?” The man in black robe was surprised.

Moranxiu’s performance surprised him too much. Can the Fire Rain Technique be able to withstand it?

”Little baby, did you use the earth shield just now?” the man in black said.

”That’s right!” The moment Moranxiu opened his mouth, an ice spike shot out.

The ice spike quickly shot at the man in black. The man in black sneered and said, ”Boy, it’s no wonder that Amo valued you so much that he asked me to kill you personally. If it were someone else, it might not be possible. But since it’s me, you must die.”

The black-robed man didn’t even use the defensive magic, and a similar ice thorn formed between waving his hands, hitting towards Moranxiu’s ice thorn.

”As expected of a great magician, the control of magic is so good.” Moran cultivated his mind.

”It is impossible for an intermediate magician to achieve such precise magic control. I can barely do it.” Although Mo Lanxiu was thinking in his heart, his movements were not slow at all.

”Crack!”

The two icicles brilliantly completed a collision.

The man in black was shocked, because his icicles disappeared, but Moranxiu’s icicles just paused and continued to fly.

”How is this possible?” the black-robed man asked in amazement.

Moranxiu sneered, took a step forward, and another icicle flew out. These two ice spikes in a row are both of the enhanced type, and the ice spike that killed the bandit leader is exactly this type.In terms of attack power alone, it can be called advanced magic. However, the magic power consumed is also very large.

Moranxiu can release at most three of these ice spikes. This is because Moranxiu has a high level of magic comprehension and consumes less magic power than ordinary people. After all, advanced magic is advanced magic, and intermediate magicians use it, no matter what, it seems reluctant.

”Little baby, I really underestimated you.” The man in black suddenly saw his cloak taken off, revealing a face full of scars.

Earth Shield!
The earth shield wrapped the body of the man in black, and the ice spikes hit the earth shield, making a crisp sound.

Rain of Fire!
Moranxiu released a magic again, this magic is the seventh-level magic fire rain.

After the magic came out, Moranxiu’s magic power was almost exhausted. If this magic still has no effect, then there is no other way.
