The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1340 1340: Finally Immortal

[Planet Baski]

The moment the tribulation ended, Klausʼs natural evolution, which happens whenever he breaks through to the next stage, began. A cocoon appears around his body just like always.

However, this time it is different. Instead of passing out, Klaus found himself in a pocket dimension of some kind. On the outside, all Rory saw was a reddish cocoon, which Klaus had already warned her would happen.

But on the inside, it is a pocket dimension where Klaus can walk around and even move a couple of meters in either direction.

”Strange,” Klaus said, but before he could make a move to figure out what was wrong this time around, he sensed another presence.

Turning around, he saw Maud seated, her breath coming in a ragged form.

”Are you alright, Maud?” Klaus asked, running toward her. When he got close, he stopped and crouched down to see if Maud was alright.

During the tribulation, she merged with his other body, currently cocooned in the abandoned planet. If that was the case, then how is she here with the main body?

Although all bodies Klaus would create are his, he sees this form as the main body. After all, he had no plans to have any sexual intercourse with his wives using his other bodies. That is reserved for the main body, so in a way, that is his main body.

However, Maudʼs arrival at the same place as him shows that things are much more complicated than he would like to believe.

It seems this breakthrough came with some added surprises.

”I am fine, Lord Klaus,” Maud responded and then asked, ”But why am I here?”

”I have no idea. However, I believe it has something to do with the fact that we have become early-stage immortals, and also you being my Deathʼs Heart.”

”I guess so. But how do we get out?”

The same question was on Klausʼs mind. He had no idea why he was conscious now and not cocooned, probably far away in a dream or meeting an incarnation of himself, as it used to whenever he broke through.

Now he was awake, and a secondary person was with him.

”Icon”

Klaus came out, and the little golden-haired fairy appeared and hovered before Klausʼs face, holding a large lollipop.

Klaus looked at the lollipop in her hand, and the only thought that came to mind was how long it would take her to consume it all, considering it is half the size of her body.

However, he said nothing and merely asked the question bothering him. ”Icon, why am I not evolving like before?”

[What is the master talking about? The Master and Lady Maud have already entered the evolution phase. All the Master and Lady Maud have to do is submerge their bodies in the Divine Star Immortal Essence.]

Icon pointed toward the east, where a small pool designed to fit one person could be seen. It has reddish-gold water, and it emits faint star Qi.

”Oh, I didnʼt notice it before.”

[It is all alright, Master. All you have to do is strip naked and submerge your body inside. It will start the True Evolution.]

”I see. Then in that case, why doesnʼt Maud go first...” Klaus turned to Maud, who seemed calm, but she was contemplating what all this meant.

[That is not possible, Master. The moment any of you enters the pool, the process will begin, and once you come out, the Divine Star Immortal Essence will dry up, only coming back later when the right conditions are met.

”Oh, and what are the right conditions?”

[It only appears when you or Lady Maud form an Immortal Ring or break through to the Real Immortal stage. This process strengthens and enhances your body and allows both of you to wield the same Immortal Ring.

So if you enter the pool without Lady Maud, she will not receive the boost and the Immortal Ring. Also, if she does it without you, the connection of Death between you will be weakened instead of strengthened.]

”So you want me and Maud to enter at the same time,” Klaus asked, a frown appearing on his face. Icon just said he had to enter the Divine Star Immortal Essence with Maud...naked.

Naturally, that is not a problem for him. However, he knew how dedicated Maud was to covering her body to the point of not even showing her face. Klaus doesnʼt even know how big her butt and breasts are since she covered everything.

So asking her to strip before entering the pool doesnʼt sit well with him. The last thing he wanted was to force her into something she would hate.

”Icon, you can send me out. Maud will have this. I will have the next one.”

”No,” Maud disagreed. ”We both can have this. As Little Icon said, we both gain if we enter the pool together.”

”But that will be inconvenient to you, Maud. I know how dedicated you are to covering your body. I wouldnʼt want you to go against your beliefs.”

”I only cover my body because I want to. I didnʼt do it because I had to. Also, you are Lord Klaus. Everything about me is yours to have, so there is nothing to worry about here.”

”Are you sure?” Klaus asked.

”I am positive. However, it would be in your best interest not to over-touch anything you see. We may be entering the same pool, and our bodies will be sandwich together, but that doesnʼt mean you have my permission to touch me.”

”No need to be a pervert, Maud. I am a gentleman who treats the womanʼs body like a treasure. What makes you think I would violate yours?”

Maud glared at Klaus for a few seconds, then she smirked. ”As if I donʼt know you. Just donʼt go overboard.”

Klaus laughed. ”Rest assured, Maud, I will be a gentleman. Of course, I might not even be interested in what I see, so you can stop having wild thoughts.”

Maud said nothing. However, Klaus could tell she was mentally preparing herself. ”Thank you, Icon. You can go back and enjoy your lollipop.”

”Okay, Master.” The Icon vanished. Once she was gone, Klaus unsummoned his armor, leaving only his pants, which held his big bulge in place.

Maud was mentally preparing herself for what she was about to see when Klaus pulled down his pants too, revealing his soft, big-ass dick.

Gulp.

Maud gulped and turned away, clearly embarrassed.

”Oh, donʼt be a big baby, Maud. It is not like this is your first time seeing me naked.”

”Yeah, but this is different.”

”How different?”

”I will also be getting naked. I mean, isnʼt that too stimulating?”

Klaus laughed. ”First of all, you warn me not to touch, and second, who said anything about stimulating? You are Maud, my Deathʼs Heart. If anything, you should be happy you will be spending some skin-to-skin time with me.”

”How shameless. You clearly are going to enjoy this...” Maud turned and faced Klaus. However, before she could say anything, Klaus moved toward her and stopped just when he was right in front of her.

”How about I help you take your clothes off?”

Considering how close they were to each other, Klaus felt Maudʼs warm breath on his face.

”I have hands. I can remove my own clothes.” She walked back and turned around, facing Klaus with her back.

”Suit yourself,” Klaus smiled, and started watching as she slowly undressed.

ʼWho knew becoming an immortal would be this fun?ʼ
