The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 428 A storm is coming... End of Volume I

Somewhere, many light years away from Earth, inside a sleek spaceship speeding through quantum bubbles, a fox lady with nine tails sat in a meditation posture.

Her eyes are closed, and her fluffy tails emit faint black and white glows.

Beside her was another lady who looked human at first glance, but it was clear she wasnʼt. A golden horn on her forehead marked her as belonging to the dragon race. She had a voluptuous body that could make any man drool.

Her golden hair seemed to have a life of its own, as they fell down her back. She was, without a doubt, gorgeous.

Suddenly, the fox ladyʼs eyes snapped open, radiating a profound energy.

”Well, how was it? Were you able to find Masterʼs position using the second Star Light?” the dragon lady asked.

”I did. But I couldnʼt see his world. However, he is somewhere in the human universe, in a distant galaxy of some kind,” the fox lady replied.

”Were you able to find anything about this galaxy?” The dragon lady looked impatient.

”No. However, from the feeling I got, it seems to be a rather peaceful galaxy,” the fox lady answered.

”How useless... I was hoping youʼd find something more tangible, Yuying,” the dragon lady sighed.

”Shut up, Thyra. Weʼll know more once we enter the human universe. That being said, are you sure Unity is in the human universe?” Yuying asked, addressing the dragon lady as Thyra.

”I am. Although I donʼt know why she awakened a human this time around, I know she will be somewhere there. Hopefully, she hasnʼt become a maniac by the time we get to her,” Thyra said.

”I hope so too. Weʼll need her to get through to this distant galaxy,” Yuying sighed.

”Donʼt worry. Master is no weakling... Heʼll be fine. Iʼm sure of it,” Thyra said, looking at the worried Yuying.

”I know, but what if the world Master is in hasnʼt awakened yet? You already know his situation with the heavens. If they couldnʼt kill him with the tribulations, theyʼd surely use the world awakening to kill him—even if it meant killing a few billion along with him.

You know what happened in his seventh incarnation. We have to get there before this awakening, or we might just be too late,” Yuying said.

”All the more reason we should have gone for Nyxaria before going to Master,” Thyra sighed. Though she was worried, she seemed to be handling it much better than Yuying, who was known among the Paragon Guards as the emotional one.

”No... That demon has a job to do, and it wouldnʼt do us any good dragging her away from her responsibilities. That being said, at this rate, weʼll be in the human universe within the next two years. Hopefully, we can reach Master early,” Yuying said.

”No matter what the heavens pull off, I know Master will survive. He is the strongest there is for a reason,” Thyra said, clenching her fist.

They were the Paragon Guards—beings created by Klausʼs first incarnation to cheat fate and outsmart the heavens. Their purpose was to pave the way for their master to walk on whenever he reincarnated.

Every time he reincarnated, one of them would awaken many years beforehand to set a good path for him, just like Yuying did with Fruity. At each incarnation, one awakened with their memories intact.

However, for some reason, this time, all of them awakened simultaneously with their memories intact. It had never happened before, yet it was happening now.

”Were you able to obtain what I asked for?” Yuying asked.

”Yes, madam, I managed to procure it. And hey, I even managed to get information on the Seven Divine Primordial Beasts, as well as the location of one of the Nine Ancient Forbidden Relics.”

”Which one?” Yuying asked.

”The Genesis Flame Diagram,” Thyra answered with a smile.

”Where is it?”

”Itʼs with the Dark Flame Chaos Dragons,” Thyra said with a small smile.

Yuying smiled as well. ”Oh, Master is going to love this. Do you know he and the Dark Flame Chaos Dragons go way back?”

”I know, you told us, remember? That being said, we will have a lot of adventures on our hands once we locate Master. We can only hope the heavens donʼt do anything out of line for now.”

”I also hope so,” Yuying said, her expression calm. ”Contact Nyxaria and tell her to start looking for the others. All the Paragon Guards must be found by the time we return.”

”Okay,” Thyra said before walking away.

Yuying sighed. ”Master, I hope you are well and prepared for what is to come. I know you are strong, but with two Star Lights found, the storm coming will multiply.”

With another sigh, she returned to a meditative state, using her powers to gaze deeper into the universe. The spaceship continued to speed, traveling thousands of miles every second.

They were headed to the Milky Way Galaxy, to a small blue planet where their Master, the Ninth and final Paragon, was preparing to take another leap in his rise to the peak.

[Authorʼs Note: This marks the conclusion of the first long volume. What a journey it has been! After 428 chapters, weʼve finally wrapped up Volume 1. I never imagined it would stretch out this much, but stories evolve, and so do their plots.

Now that Volume 1 is complete, what lies ahead in the second volume? First, letʼs reveal its title: ”The New Overlord in the Academy.”

From the name alone, you can guess that things are about to get intense at the academy. But will the academy be enough to contain him? The answer is no. The stakes will rise, especially as Klaus begins to uncover glimpses of the dangers surrounding him.

Weʼll delve into the perils looming over Earth and the ominous threats hanging above the Moon. Earth, as we both know, will soon become a small stage for someone like Klaus. But before he outgrows it, weʼre in for some insane battles and dramatic plot arcs. In short, things are about to get explosive.

Expect new friends, new enemies, and new threats.

Moreover, Klaus will finally recover all his memories as Fruity and awaken his first overpowered bloodline, triggering world-shaking events. Alongside this, weʼll also gain insights into another life, which will play a pivotal role in preparing Klaus for the challenges of Volume 3.

This volume will likely span 150 to 200 chapters, as I donʼt want to linger too long on minor arcs before we ascend to the starry skies. Those future moments will center on unimaginable dangers and how Klaus faces them.

That aside, paying close attention to Klausʼs flashbacks is highly recommended. Theyʼll hold important lessons and reveal reasons behind some of the dangers heʼll face and the insane things heʼll eventually do. These flashbacks will be central to understanding his journey.

Weʼll also start uncovering more about the true nature of the Weapons Overlord Class and its connection to his overpowered future.

Thatʼs all for now! If I continue, I might accidentally drop spoilers that could ruin the excitement for some of you. However, hereʼs a small teaser: ”Klaus is in very dangerous danger.”

Get ready for a wild ride.]
