From Idler to Tech Tycoon: Earth

Chapter 79: Reactions
Chapter 79: Chapter 79: Reactions”Phoenix Chat is more than just a chatbot,” Jack explained, the screen behind him demonstrating seamless conversations, empathetic responses. ”It’s an intelligent companion, designed from the ground up for user-friendliness and intuitive interaction.”

He listed the features, each one met with murmurs of approval:

”Contextual Understanding, allowing it to follow complex conversations naturally; Emotional Intelligence, enabling it to respond empathetically;

Multilingual Support, breaking down communication barriers globally;

Personalized Learning, adapting to your individual preferences over time; and Seamless Integration with your favorite apps and services. It understands context, remembers conversations, and provides helpful, empathetic responses.”

”Our goal,” Jack concluded, a sincerity in his voice that cut through the excitement, ”was to create an AI that is approachable, accessible, and truly beneficial, helping to steer the narrative around AI from one of fear to one of immense positive potential.”

He looked out at the sea of faces, illuminated by phone screens as people raced to download the app.

”We believe this will be the first step for millions into a friendly, cooperative future with artificial intelligence.”

The applause was deafening, a tidal wave of approval. People were already talking to their phones, voices hushed with wonder. They had given the world a new tool, an unprecedented power. But what would the world do with it?

Richard surveyed the room, the lingering excitement of Phoenix Chat still hanging in the air like static electricity. On his monitor, discreetly placed off to the side, news feeds were already flashing. CNN, BBC, Al Jazeera – all of them running headlines, breaking news alerts.

”Bytebull Unleashes 4th Industrial Revolution!”

”Phoenix AI: The Most Advanced Artificial Intelligence Ever!”

A subtle nod, a flicker of satisfaction in Richard’s eyes. It was exactly as he’d planned. The narrative was taking hold, precisely as he wanted it to. Bytebull wasn’t just a company; it was a force of history.

He let the buzz build for another moment, letting the magnitude of what had already been announced truly sink in. Then, with a profound conviction that stilled the very air in the Coliseum, he stepped back to the microphone.

The silence that fell was absolute. You could hear a pin drop, even with thousands of people in the room. Millions more held their breath online.

Richard looked directly into the cameras, his gaze unwavering.

”And finally,” he began, his voice filled with an unwavering resolve, ”for the benefit of all humanity... for the acceleration of innovation across every field, for every aspiring developer, every curious mind, every nation...”

He paused, letting the words hang in the air, allowing their full weight to settle and then out of nowhere like a fucking tsar bomba dropped in the pacific.

”Bytebull is incredibly proud to announce that, effective immediately, Phoenix AI is now fully open-sourced.”

For a beat, stunned silence. The kind of silence that precedes a cataclysm, or a miracle. Then, a roar unlike any other. It started as a few scattered cheers, then a collective gasp, and then an explosion of sound. People leaped to their feet, cheering, shouting, crying, high-fiving strangers. The energy was electric, a release of pure, unadulterated euphoria.

Online, the sheer shock gave way to a frenzy.
