Stealing Spree

Chapter 2713: Outside of Expectation

A while later.

Although I was expecting to be confronted by their father or those under him, our bus trip went smoothly without a hitch.

The two cars that were tailing us maintained their distance, never getting too close to interfere. Perhaps Himuro-san relayed our determination to his boss, or maybe their father was too busy to care about our little rebellion tonight.

Either way, it gave us a peaceful ride.

Maaya eventually relaxed, her head lolling against my shoulder as the exhaustion caught up to her. Her alpaca ended up in my lap somehow while she dozed lightly with her arms wrapped around me, her tsundere guard down in sleep.

Meanwhile, Himeko was more than satisfied to just lean with her fingers interlaced with mine.

”This feels nice, Ruki... just us,” She whispered, her voice soft enough not to wake Maaya.

”Yeah. No chauffeurs, no prying eyes. Just the three of us.” I squeezed her hand, glancing down at Maaya’s peaceful face. Her lips were slightly parted, a faint blush still lingering from earlier. Damn, even asleep, she looked tempting.

Although she was riding the bus for the first time, she adapted quite quickly compared to Marika. After all, she’s mature enough to manage their hotel even though she’s still a student. What little childishness left for her was her reliance on her older sister’s affection. And maybe mine too. Other than that, even Haruko or Hana would not be able to hold a candle to her when it comes to being able to adjust quickly.

The bus ride lasted about twenty minutes, the city lights blurring past the windows. When we reached their stop, I gently shook Maaya awake.

”Hey, tsundere princess. Time to wake up. Your castle awaits.”

She stirred, blinking groggily before realizing where her head was. ”Hmph... don’t get used to this, shameless pervert.”

But she didn’t pull away immediately. Instead, she nuzzled closer for a second before sitting up straight, snatching her alpaca back and pulling my head down for a quick kiss.

Himeko giggled, standing first and smoothing her skirt. ”Come on, Ya-chan. Let’s get home before Father sends a search party.”

We disembarked from the bus and we were once again greeted by the cool night air as we stepped onto the quiet suburban street.

Their house was a short walk away, nestled in a gated community with well-trimmed lawns and towering hedges that screamed old money.

The two cars pulled up a block behind us, their engines idled but they maintained their distance. Himuro-san stepped out of one, nodding curtly from afar before getting back in.

Message received: they’d watch from a distance. I guess that’s to make sure that I’d be walking them home.

With no other people around, Maaya looped her arm through mine again, her grip possessive.

”See? We made it without your ’optimal sneaking path.’ Though... if you do sneak in one night, bring snacks. Nee-sama gets hungry after... you know.”

Himeko’s cheeks flushed pink, but she played along, leaning in to whisper, ”Or we could sneak out to you instead, Ruki. Pick us up when we do.”

These two... they were going to be the death of me. My cock stirred at the thought, but I kept it together.

”Tempting offers. But tonight, front door it is. I can’t have your old man chase me with a gun for tainting both of you.”

“Pfft. He won’t do that, Ruki.” Himeko chuckled.

“As if you’re going to be scared of him, shameless pervert. You’re someone who will not back down even if you’re persecuted. I mean, it won’t be your first time meeting someone’s parents, right? You did well when you met our mom.”

“Well, your mother is one thing but didn’t she also say that I need to impress your father? After all, who in their right mind will allow both of their daughters to land on the same guy?”

Not to mention, someone who’s also dating more girls than he can count on his fingers.

“Not our fault, you made us fall for you.”

“Mhm. But I never said it’s your fault. Whatever happens, I won’t back down in taking responsibility for the two of you.”

“Geez, can you hear him, Nee-sama?” Maaya clicked her tongue as she lightly pinched my side.

Himeko simply giggled as she answered, “He’s not lying, Ya-chan.”

“I know... But he’s thinking about shouldering it all by himself again.”

“Oh... That’s what you meant... Ruki, remember. We’re all in this together.”

With that, Himeko squeezed my hand tightly, conveying how determined she was. She’s ready to show her father that... the cowardly older sister from back then, who ended up pushing the responsibility to her little sister, has now broken out of her cage.

I guess it’s only a matter of time before that confrontation happens. After all, Maaya and Himeko were already jointly managing the hotel whenever possible. The true test might be having the girl do it by herself.

When the time comes... Maaya and I will be cheering for her on the side, ready to run to her help if she calls for us.

As we approached the grand wrought-iron gates, they swung open automatically, probably sensors or a hidden guard. The driveway wound up to a sprawling estate, lights glowing warmly from the windows.

It wasn’t ostentatious like some celebrity mansions, but it was big. Multiple stories, a fountain in the front, and enough rooms to house a clan.

If I could compare it to the Kaneko Estate or the Ichihara Mansion, they’re not far from each other.

Anyway, what we were expecting to see there didn’t happen. There’s no ‘father’ waiting for us. Or men who would bring me in front of him. Instead, there were only a few servants waiting for the two girls without saying anything.

“Hmm... Maybe he’s also not ready to face the truth yet, shameless guy. I’ll contact you if anything happens.” Maaya said as she let go of my arm, her fingers seemingly reluctant to let go as she traced a subtle path down my forearm before stepping back.

Her eyes snapped to the mansion’s glowing windows, a mix of relief and wariness in her gaze. No stern father looming at the entrance and no dramatic showdown to rebuke us.

Himeko’s grip on my other arm tightened, her soft curves pressing closer as if she wasn’t ready to let go either. “Ruki... thank you for today. It was... perfect.”

Her voice was a breathy whisper that still made my cock twitch at the memory of her tight sacred place milking me dry. She tip-toed, planting a quick but lingering kiss on my cheek.

The servants bowed slightly, keeping their distance like well-trained shadows, but I could feel their eyes on us. Curious, maybe judgmental. One of them, an older maid with a tight bun, cleared her throat softly. “Young misses, dinner is prepared. Your parents are waiting inside.”

Maaya huffed as she clutched her alpaca like it would fight for her. “Tell Mother we’ll be there in a minute. And don’t hover.”

The maid nodded and retreated, leaving us alone.

As soon as they turned around, I pulled both girls in for a quick group hug, my hands sliding down to squeeze their asses playfully, one last tease before the night ended. Himeko squeaked, her blush deepening, while Maaya boldly returned the favor, tugging at my crotch as if she were ready to pull it out if given the chance.

After a few more kisses like we were making a statement in front of their estate, I watched the two walk inside. The two cars that were following us also entered not long after.

Before returning to the bus stop to finally go home, I waited until they disappeared through the door. At the same time, I checked my recent messages. One of which came from the two girls that Nao managed to rope in for our sleepover.

It’s not the egotistic girl but instead the goofball who... was probably planning a surprise for me.

I don’t know. Nao hinted that.

“Ruki, where are you? It’s already late at night. We cooked dinner.”

That’s all the content of her message. But really, that message was far from how she behaved in our previous conversations. In any case, there exists the possibility that this is just her becoming more conscious of me.

I guess I’ll see if she truly prepared something or not when I arrive home.

After typing a quick reply, I started my walk back to the bus stop.
