Stealing Spree

Chapter 2486: Handled by the Two Girls

Half an hour later, Ichihara-san and her daughter, Koharu-chan arrived along with Marika’s aunt. The pair of mother and daughter politely greeted us before quickly moving to change into their training attire. Your next chapter awaits on

Marika’s aunt, on the other hand, just stood there with her arms crossed. Her eyes alternated between me, Marika and Sena.

Ayu was still at the front desk so she wasn’t considered by her as another one of my girls.

”So, you are truly working part-time here.” Kagura’s words were directed to me but her eyes focused on Sena.

”Did Kagura-san doubt my capability?” I answered as I walked over, inserting myself between Marika and Sena. ”I may be nothing but a playboy in your eyes, someone who has nothing in my name yet, but I’m getting there.”

Kagura scoffed, ”It’s not your capability, Onoda-kun. It’s your... dedication. I see you with these young girls, and I can’t help but worry for their hearts. How can they endure sharing with other women?”

”It’s not like that, Aunt Kagura.” Marika stepped in. Her face was once again filled with determination. ”Ruki is different. He loves all of us equally, and we understand each other.”

”That’s empty talk, Marika!” Kagura retorted, her gaze sharp as she turned to Marika. ”Love isn’t a pie you can divide and still have everyone feel satisfied!”

”Even so, that’s what we believed. Aunt Kagura can have your own belief but we have ours.” Marika’s voice remained firm, her eyes not wavering from her aunt’s stern gaze.

I squeezed Marika’s hand and took a step forward, ”Kagura-san, didn’t we already talk about this? We’re in a Boxing Gym. This isn’t the place to have this kind of conversation.”

I grabbed Sena’s hand next, showing her our defiance before continuing, ”Do you also wish to try out a lesson? I believe Sena and Marika here can show you the ropes. Sena is an aspiring pro boxer while Marika has finished the basic course and is quite skilled herself.”

Kagura’s eyes widened, ”What? You want me to participate in this barbaric sport?”

”Isn’t that why you’re here? Don’t worry, they won’t charge you for it.”

”But...” Kagura-san sputtered, looking flustered.

Marika immediately picked up my intention and nodded with a grin, ”Yes, Aunt Kagura. Let me show you what I’ve learned.”

Sena also joined the fray, her eyes sparkling with mischief. ”Come on, Kagura-san. It’ll be a great way to blow off some steam. Who knows, you might just find a new hobby.”

Without giving her another chance to protest, Marika and Sena flanked Kagura and practically dragged her to the back of the gym and into the changing room.

Watching that, I couldn’t help but smirk at the unfolding scene.

And Kagura, despite her initial protests, was unable to resist the combined charm and determination of the two girls. She found herself changing into a sparring outfit, feeling quite out of place amidst the sweat and grunts of the gym.

Leaving her to them, I turned my focus to the pair of mother and daughter who were seemingly both excited to start training.

I guess not being at home also allowed Ichihara-san to relax slightly and let loose.

Or is it because it’s a chance to bond with her daughter? Probably both.

---

More than an hour later, we concluded the lesson. It was less than the usual 2-hour session because of the time. It was deep in the night and the gym also needed to close.

In any case, Ichihara-san didn’t mind it that much, she even apologized to me for not communicating early.

Because of that, we had quite a discussion regarding the continuation of my side job of teaching Koharu-chan. Since her husband doesn’t want me to hold any lessons at their house, it was either they come here or take my offer of using the mini-gym at our house.

Her apprehension was understandable considering the situation, but I assured her that the mini-gym at home was more than sufficient for our purposes. After all, it had been set up by my parents with the intention of keeping us in shape and it had served me well in my own training sessions. Plus, it had the added benefit of being a more private and comfortable environment for Koharu-chan and her.

”I like it, Mom. Can we do it at Onoda-sensei’s house?” Koharu-chan looked at her mother with hopeful eyes even though her cheeks were still flushed from the exertion of the lesson.

Ichihara-san took a moment before nodding, ”Fine, but only if you promise to be on your best behavior.”

”I promise! I promise!” Koharu-chan squealed, practically bouncing on the spot with excitement. I couldn’t help but chuckle at her enthusiasm.

”Alright. Now that’s decided... I guess we should also inform your husband, Ichihara-san. Just in case he won’t approve of it.” I said after patting Koharu-chan’s head to calm her down.

But before her mother could reply, the girl jumped up and exclaimed, ”Leave him to me, sensei! I’ll handle it! He won’t be able to reject his cute daughter’s request!” With sparkling eyes filled with enthusiasm, Koharu clearly wanted to keep her training sessions going without any hiccups. Her goal of one day punching her cousin, Ichihara Jun, in the face was still alive.

”Koharu-chan!” Ichihara-san’s voice was filled with a mix of embarrassment and exasperation, ”Don’t be so presumptuous!”

”Eh... I’m just telling the truth. And Mom, you can relax at sensei’s home too. You don’t have to worry about the people in our compound.” Koharu-chan said, trying to convince her mother.

At this point, Sena, Marika and Kagura had also finished their workout. The two girls didn’t let the older woman complain as they had her try some light sparring which ended with Kagura looking exhausted.

”Ruki, we’re finished here. Hehe. Aunt Kagura will now understand it’s not easy to get to your level,” Marika said, winking at me as she wiped the sweat from her forehead with a towel.

Sena also giggled as she helped support the exhausted woman. Kagura’s previously sophisticated look that screamed high class was reduced to a flustered mess of sweat and slightly messed-up hair.

With Ichihara-san and Koharu retreating to the changing room, I walked over to check on the exhausted Kagura. She was trying her best to stand upright while her chest heaved from the exertion of the impromptu sparring and training session conducted by Sena and Marika. Her cheeks were flushed and her usual stoic demeanor was replaced with a surprisingly adorable pout.

”S-stop looking at me like that, Onoda. Ugh. I shouldn’t have gone here. You still haven’t changed my mind. Marika has to fulfill her duty to--”

Not letting her finish her sentence, Marika poked Kagura playfully on the cheek, ”Oh come on, Aunt Kagura. Stop with the serious talk. From now on, you’ll work out with us while you’re staying with me. I’ll sign you up for the gym membership.”

”Huh?! Oi brat. I didn’t come here for--”

And once again, she got silenced by the two girls with a smack on her cheek from Marika and a gentle push from Sena. ”Come on, Kagura-san. Let’s get cleaned up. You’ll see, it’s not that bad here.”

I didn’t even need to do anything. The two of them had already handled Kagura without me saying a word. The sight of the usually so stoic woman being pushed around by the two was quite entertaining.

I couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of Kagura being herded away like a stubborn cat.

”You looked like you had your fun, huh?” Suddenly appearing from behind me, Ayu laughingly said as she nudged me with a light jab.

”Well, she’s one of the obstacles I’m facing when it comes to my relationship with Marika.” I shrugged before I turned to face her, ”By the way, you’re coming home with me tonight, Ayu. We’ll have a celebratory dinner at home.”
